I came in and asked all the questions I possibly could to make sure it would work out and ended up scheduling and moving my referral over, which was not easy to get from the first place. Two weeks later, I came in for my appointment which lasted almost 1.5hrs. The therapist recommended 2x/wk and I agreed. She walked me to the front desk where I'm told they can't accommodate me because they're booked out for weeks and I could maybe get in ONE day between then and the next available. I think if they would've worded it that way when I asked all the questions or somehow made me aware that they'd be able to get in me in for the initial appointment soon but treatments wouldn't start until weeks later. Then I would've kept looking. I then a few days later called and asked to speak to the owner, who called me back and was everything but helpful. Her level of sarcasm towards the situation by making comments such as; I'm sorry I couldn't be 100% fully staffed for you, are totally unnecessary and unprofessional. After explaining to her how unsatisfactory my experience had been and now I'm having to look for a new place, and how I didn't thought it wasn't fair that they were still going to bill my insurance knowing they couldn't accommodate from the beginning, I realized she didn't care to help or alleviate the situation, I gave up. I feel like this place lies to people just to get them in for that first appointment since it's the one they can bill/collect on the most and that's all they're after. They don't actually care about the patients or their treatment. I manage a few clinics and if my staff ever scheduled someone knowing we wouldn't be able to accommodate after the initial appointment, not only I, but all my providers would do everything possible to make sure they get on the schedule the amount of times were recommending until the schedule allows for more appointments. Either stay during lunch, come in earlier or leave later but we'd make sure our patient is taken care of. This place didn't even try and that's after I spoke with three people including the owner. And yes, after all that, they still billed my insurance because "I still got the evaluation" An evaluation that would determine my treatment frequency which they couldn't accommodate. Which if they would've told me from the get go, said evaluation would've never happened.

In the least amount of time they analyze your issue, figure out a treatment plan, and get you better. And everybody is pleasant to work with. I have been back for four different problems over what is now a lot of years. Each time it has been the exact same story. I arrive, they work with me (over a period of weeks, of course), and I am healed. One of the best piece of evidence about the quality of their work is the stability of the staff. It has remained pretty much the same, indicating that it is a nice place for employees to work. I could not recommend this outfit any higher.

I felt that we got right down to the acute area. There are only a couple of therapists here, but if you need PT my suggestion would be you make sure to see Lauren. You can tell she takes care of herself so she can take care of her clients. If I need PT for my back in the future, I would come here. It's a small location, kind of hidden. I didn't even realize they were so close to where I live. Olympic Sports and Spine have several locations around the region. I would still come back here. Parking is located in the rear of the shared building with Multicare Occupational Health. It's a bit of an older building, but it's clean and cared for on the inside. Never a problem finding a parking spot either.

My insurance doesn't have a set fee, it's 20% of the charge. But when I went in they said my insurance portion would be 35.00 a session, upfront. I paid it every time until I got a statement from my insurance. OSS charged a different fee every time, and 20% of that never came near 35.00. I get that maybe the first time you go for evaluation and the last time you go for discharge, there may be a different fee. But every other time I did the same thing for the same amount of time. Anyway, when I contacted billing they were very nice and said I would get a refund about 3 weeks after my discharge. It was nearly 90.00 (I didn't pay for the last therapy session since I had a credit on my account), which was money I certainly could have used for the 2 months I had therapy. I expect I won't go back if I have to pay upfront again.

He finds out about the type of work you do, activities you've been involved in, if you've have past problems similar. He's good at helping get a plan of action tailored to your specific needs to help either keep from making the problem worse or help make it better including gentle stretch moves using bands or your own body weight. He helps you localize the stretch and In some cases its about finding ways to give you relief throughout the day so you can carry on doing your regular duties. Overall he plants the seed of information in your head so when the therapy appointments end, you can continue on with the plan of action and help build on to what he's shown you in the clinical setting. He wants everyone to have a quality life by minimizing pain and taking care of the hips, and back which are key for any kind of activity. Noone enjoys going through xrays, MRI"s pain injections, more Dr visits because it costs a tiny fortune and it's stressful. I would suggest Matt if you must see a PT at St. Francis
