Dr. Lee is a very caring and kind man. He has been my PCP for 14 years. His staff is also very friendly.

So here it is: called the office to get copies of test results, had to wait while they were…read morecopied, even though we had placed the call the day before. Asked for referral said it going to take between 7 to 10 days (really). Took four days with multiple phone call. Had a 1 Year review of a triple A, with new doctor at Multi-care the ultrasound showed no triple A, so new doctor asked for a cat scan just has a pre caution again the cat scan show no evidence of a triple A. My question is why.... a triple A does not heal themselves....they must have surgery to correct the problem..... before the inevitable.

Our long-term family doctor quit to go play golf in Arizona. Our daughter called on doctors for a medication she represented. A high-quality vitamin needed by certain patients. She met Dr. Birlenbach when she called on him. She contacted us and told us to make an appointment as she felt he was much like our past family Dr. He has very carefully overseen our medical conditions from the various male and female related situations experienced in our 40's and 50's to our now more concerning medical problems affecting us in our late 80's (cancer and heart). He makes sure we go to a valuable specialist for cancer, heart, urology, and kidney situations we have experienced. He also performs in-house tests he can do to keep us from waiting months. This is a busy office, but you only must wait a day or two to see him -- not four months like all the specialists. So, I read one negative person complained because she had to wait for a copy of test results. I suspect the entire time she was waiting, Brenda, his long-term receptionist was constantly answering the phone, trying to get the copy, and one of the nurses came forward to help Brenda get the copy for her. I own a business and have been in this situation myself. Our client base runs in the hundreds and it can be quiet for a few minutes but just as you get up to make a copy it seems like everyone in Pierce County is calling our office. Patience is a virtue.

So, we he ended up at Dr Yins... The staff is expedite, however, very cold... Dr Yin seems to handle simple (for lack of better terms) high blood pressure, diabetes, annual blood work, etc... He does not seem very thorough, on the other hand, you do not sit long in the waiting room. He only gives 6 month refils on your medications. They will not take me because I have been diagnosed with PTSD and anxiety disorders to to a head trauma (subdermal hematoma ×3 and inoxial fusions), have had a fractured c-spine (3 levels), and MAY need valium on occasion... The ONLY prescription I may need... What a joke... I haven't had a Valium in 9 months... Anyone know of a REAL Dr that takes First Health insurance??? I need to add to this review... I am so angry I am having siezures... The receptionist actually handed my file to me and told me, and I quote, " The Dr. will not be able to see you as a patient because of the drugs you take." I said pardon me?... She said, " The Narcotics!" I said, those were after surgeries, on my neck, and in the past. "She said, I don't care!" "He does not prescribe narcotic medications!" I said, I do not take them, I take hormones... " She said... " We do not take care of your type of people!" I am a retired educator with an Ed D and a Ph.D. Just what kind of people do they mean... I was the onle white person in there... So, it was either hurt, educated, or white... Which is it???

This is the first time I've ever written a review of this nature, but I feel compelled to share my…read moreexperience. I have been trying to reach Dr. Kennel for over a week regarding important test results for a family member. I was told I would receive a call back from a nurse, but after several days with no follow-up, I called the office again. During one of these calls, I was placed on hold by a woman named Mandy. When I called back to explain that I had been disconnected, rather than apologizing or helping, Mandy again placed me on hold. After I expressed my frustration and reiterated that I had already been waiting a week, Mandy responded with a hostile tone, denied that I had called previously, and then abruptly hung up on me--accusing me of being threatening, which I absolutely was not. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of communication is deeply disappointing, especially when dealing with sensitive medical matters. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that the office improves how it treats patients and their families moving forward.

Just left my first apt here so let's dive right into why I left a whopping 5 stars…read more We'll start with my first impression. So I walked in with extremely low expectations due to the low rating on yelp. Let's be honest though just because somewhere has a low star rating doesn't mean it's gonna be trash. I was highly impressed by how clean and well kept this office is. No weird smells, clean furniture and most importantly a clean bathroom. To me you can tell a lot about a place by how clean the bathrooms kept. Lol. Skipping into my overall experience as a patient, I felt like everyone was extremely nice to me and truly cares for the patients. I am a extremely emotional person, so for me I need to feel like I'm walking into a calm environment with friendly people or my day will go to shit really fast. The receptionist that helped me as I first walked in was a peach! She was super helpful and very friendly. She honestly put my worry's to rest immediately. She greeted me with a friendly smile and took her time with me while I asked questions, she joke with me a little bit and her overall attitude was amazing. I really appreciate that level of professionalism and kindness just as much as anyone else would I'm sure. Now time for the big guns! DR. Courtney, all I can say is holy hell shes good. Not only was she empathetic but she also is a amazing listener. I felt a strange sense of ease talking to her. If you've ever had trouble finding a good dr. Like myself you know how rare it is to feel like a dr. Is truly trying to help you and not just rush you out of the room. She took her time with me, allowed me to express all my concerns, joked with me a little bit, but most of all took what I was asking about into consideration. I've only ever had one dr. As good as her and unfortunately never thought I'd find another one like him until her. You can tell in a short amount of time that she is truly committed to her patients and extremely well educated. By the end of my appointment all my concerns were put to rest and I left feeling like I was given 5 star medical care. I can't thank this office enough for making me feel ok again. O' one more thing I almost left out, there is parking available, and this location is super easy to find. Well hope this helps. Have a nice day!
