He was stung many times on the ankles, and although he is an adult, and 6'4", he was literally knocked out. Fainted. Lips blue. I called 911, ambulance took him to St. Anthony's in Gig Harbor.. Such a silly thing, but became serious in a hurry. The ambulance drivers from "medic one", gave him a big injection of Benadryl. He was able to breathe again, swelling in throat and face was down even before he was placed in a sick bay bed. It was more scary for me to see him in that state than it was for him. They all did a very good job of saving his life.

One of my coworkers recommended Dr. Guinto and being new to the area at the time I felt more comfortable seeing a doctor through a personal referral as opposed to some listing on your insurance paperwork. The facility itself is very nice and well maintained which instantly puts you at ease (it's not very comforting walking up to a dirty medical center...). The nurses who first greet you and get all the basic information (height, weight, blood pressure, etc.) are really friendly and personable which makes you feel even more comfortable. Dr. Guinto herself is amazing as well. She's very down to earth and really listens to what you're saying. When I had originally called to make my appointment I was told that I had to see her first for a new patient consultation before she would do any exams. When I told her this she said that that wasn't necessary and she went ahead and did the exam I had originally wanted. Eventually I convinced my husband to go see her as well and she remembered my name when she saw me with him and was again very warm and friendly. Recently she came into the store where I work and even though I hadn't seen her in months she remembered mine and my husband's name! How many times can you say that about your doctor? Now when I get sick I don't feel so bad about it because it gives me a chance to visit with the great staff here!

Both the Gig Harbor Medical Clinic and St. Anthony's are really nice facilities, and Dr. Mosbrucker is an oustanding doctor. She really knows her stuff and she will always take the time to explain things to you. Sometimes the office runs a bit late as a result, but it's totally worth it to receive such great care. So often at doctor's offices you feel like you are being rushed through so they can get through with their day. I've never felt rushed here, they take plenty of time answering questions, and I feel like they actually care about you. When I had some complications after surgery, the office staff was outstanding at getting in touch with the doctor and taking the steps needed to help me recover quickly. They even sent me a thank you card and a get well card...I didn't know anyone did that anymore, but it was appreciated and it's just an example of what kind of place this clinic is and how great the staff is. I would enthusiastically recommend her and the Gig Harbor Medical Clinic to anybody I know.

I have been going to Sound Clinical Medicine for about 6 years now and every year they loose a doctor. And then closed earlier each day. And now, they close on Fridays. I had my initial visit with Dr. Noh, then they called me and scheduled another visit, but instead of with the doctor, it was to be seen by the nurse practitioner. I have had care by practitioners in the past and I have not had even one good result. Every medical issue addressed by the practitioners previously, were never resolved. They schedule appointment after appointment to generate revenue and do not treat anyone properly. After 3 years and no end results, I dropped that service. I stressed this concern with the doctors office and they shrugged it off like it was no big concern for them. So, I went to see her and she put in a request for treatment from my insurance company. I was told that it would possibly take up to 2 weeks to hear back from them. So, I waited and waited. After 4 months, I sent an email asking why it was taking so long. I was told that sometimes the insurance company's get busy and take a little longer to reply. So, I waited another week, messaged again and received no reply back. I messaged 3 additional times and still not reply. It has now been over a year since then and today, I received a letter fro Dr. Noh's office that stated that their records show I was due to have a follow up visit, and to please contact them to schedule a visit. What I am confused about is how they have records that I am due for a follow up visit when I did not receive any type of treatment from them. So, there is nothing to follow up for. I am seriously spooked about this because of the incompetence regarding this issue. They should not have any records in my file as to treatment because I received not at all. So, did they treat someone else and log it in my file, or what?? Thank god, they forgot to administer my treatment because no telling what the outcome or dangers would be for that, considering that they completely failed to keep my records in order and do not know that I was not treated. I do not tolerate such incompetence, especially when it concerns my health and well being. Not to mention that I have been forced to wait another year with my condition worsening daily.
