I had my initial visit with Dr. Noh, then they called me and scheduled another visit, but instead of with the doctor, it was to be seen by the nurse practitioner. I have had care by practitioners in the past and I have not had even one good result. Every medical issue addressed by the practitioners previously, were never resolved. They schedule appointment after appointment to generate revenue and do not treat anyone properly. After 3 years and no end results, I dropped that service. I stressed this concern with the doctors office and they shrugged it off like it was no big concern for them. So, I went to see her and she put in a request for treatment from my insurance company. I was told that it would possibly take up to 2 weeks to hear back from them. So, I waited and waited. After 4 months, I sent an email asking why it was taking so long. I was told that sometimes the insurance company's get busy and take a little longer to reply. So, I waited another week, messaged again and received no reply back. I messaged 3 additional times and still not reply. It has now been over a year since then and today, I received a letter fro Dr. Noh's office that stated that their records show I was due to have a follow up visit, and to please contact them to schedule a visit. What I am confused about is how they have records that I am due for a follow up visit when I did not receive any type of treatment from them. So, there is nothing to follow up for. I am seriously spooked about this because of the incompetence regarding this issue. They should not have any records in my file as to treatment because I received not at all. So, did they treat someone else and log it in my file, or what?? Thank god, they forgot to administer my treatment because no telling what the outcome or dangers would be for that, considering that they completely failed to keep my records in order and do not know that I was not treated. I do not tolerate such incompetence, especially when it concerns my health and well being. Not to mention that I have been forced to wait another year with my condition worsening daily. Each time I saw her she seemed frazzled, unorganized and unable to retain the information from our previous visit. Since I had already been prescribed medication from a previous medical doctor for menopause, when I asked what her treatment recommendation would be, she literally said to me "well I don't want to step on anyone's toes to suggest something else." I was absolutely stunned. Your job as a doctor is to put the health of your patients first. Period. Not cater to the ego of whatever doctor I have seen in the past. How bizarre! At least once she was 20 minutes late and not only did she not acknowledge being so late, she acted as if I was the one who was late (with an irritated sigh stating 'well we don't have much time so lets get to what we can'). I was baffled to have my time cut short while seemingly being blamed for it because I know she saw me in the waiting room, right on time. (Yet I was charged for a full visit of course). Also, she only works part-time so anytime I would have a question for her I would have to wait days for a response, and on one occasion I had to email twice and call twice to get a response from this clinic on a specific dosage request that was time-sensitive. The end result is that Dr. Skedd made my health worse. After being diagnosed with SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth) she told me she would have to prescribe me with an antibiotic that would worsen my condition, and then another antibiotic that would worsen it still (or at least not help) before my insurance would agree to pay for the actual antibiotic that would help. This is not medical care. This is medical injury. She also misled me about the cost of the SIBO test. She said I would only have to pay $100 which I did in office and then I was billed over $200 additional after the fact for the test. Thankfully I found Dr. Joy at SISU Health who contracts with a Canadian pharmacy that is able to send me the exact right antibiotic prescription for $100. Dr. Joy also knows how to treat menopause. My health has improved under her care. I recommend Dr. Joy highly, she can be reached at SISU Health 253-549-9216.

She was able to get down to the bottom of my stomach issues (SIBO) when other doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. I've also seen Dr. Johnson and he was very good as well. The office is very welcoming and they have a huge selection of supplements. The receptionists are all super friendly and nice, especially Bonnie! I would highly recommend Peninsula Natural Health care to anyone looking for a Naturuopath.
