Folks seeking sensitivity or empathy, consider looking elsewhere. This practitioner goes to…read moreEXTREME lengths to collect background information but made little to no connection to very real underlying issues that my husband and I disclosed before our first couples meeting. Did she even read everything we had been asked to provide?? In our two sessions, Ms. Katon revealed a defensive attitude, impatience, and offered no demonstration of compassion. We were also taken aback by inappropriate offhand remarks (laughingly suggesting, for example, that we "go home and have make-up sex" as we were leaving our first session -- where "sex" had not even been mentioned!! Really?!) Such a loaded comment could throw a grenade into many relationships; couples seeking help from a "professional" while struggling to move forward. This is one example of inappropriate "treatment" with little to no genuine understanding of how vulnerable new clients can be when seeking therapeutic assistance. After two sessions (we did not return) it became clear that this practitioner has real and present issues of her own to resolve. If you do move in her direction for therapy, proceed with caution, know that she is direct to a fault (insensitive), and watch for other red flags -- of which there are many.

I would assume most therapists…read moreand counselors don't like to answer any questions about their private lives, not even whether or not they're married, she totally gives off this vibe. Signed up for couples counseling,my spouse and myself were having some troubles communicating and we needed urgent assistance. she gave us a a printed copy of a communication meter and some suggestions and literature to read. My employer offers 5 free sessions to any counselor each year for personal, couples counseling ,or family counseling, this is how I found her. She was able to get us in really quickly. From the beginning, I thought she understood that we were seeking couples counseling but it did seem like a lot of the time she was asking me about how I felt and it didn't feel like a couples counseling. I felt like a lot of the questions were about me and my background and how I grew up versus inquiring about him to to gain more of a perspective, so I believe we went to three sessions and on the third one it felt like there wasn't really anything to talk about and I believe we even ended the 3rd session 15 minutes early. There was also a few times that there was an strange silence and I felt the need to talk randomly because she just sat there with a smile on her face, nodding in silence. I think I would have expected more of a neutral kind of counselor versus everything being about me because the sessions were through my employer. So that's kind of how I felt. Maybe her Services just for not for us. She did give us a few suggestions on some books we may consider picking up but I still have two free sessions left for this year but I think we would go with someone else in the future

The med spa manager Bethany was very rude and unprofessional. The day of my friends appointment( I…read morewas accompanying my friend, whose name she asked not to share) she was snotty and rude and seemed bothered asking me why I'm even there if I didn't book a service for myself? I told her I'm simply accommodating my friend and after I see her results I may possibly book an upcoming service for myself. She had a rude response in a terrible tone of voice saying "Why? Do you think MY GIRLS don't know what they are doing??!" (making me feel very uncomfortable!) I didn't answer her and realized this manager has severe anger issues and a few screws loose! She continued to harrass me and was extremely pushy basically trying to force me to book an appointment even though I continued to let her know I wanted to wait to see how my friends results came out and she was clearly irritated that I was just a guest of a friend. After her pushy and rude behavior, I immediately knew I would never be booking an appointment at this place at this point. While continuing to wait, I could hear her loud and laughing walking around on her cell phone discussing her sexual activities in explicit detail about her sex life that took place the night before, which is why I'm giving this business 1 star for being a low class business with unprofessional low class behavior that made me feel uncomfortable. There are so many other upscale spas that have class and dignity and this place isn't one of them. My friends procedure turned out ok but for the price, location and experience I would not recommend.

I emailed the clinic owner, Nicole Tredanary back and apologized and asked for a reschedule on a new date. I did not hear back from Nicole so I sent a follow up email. Today I received an email that I have posted below, very rude and full of vitriol (obviously because I missed my appointment. Interestingly, had they required I pay for the missed appointment, or indicated this was a policy ahead of time, I gladly would have paid for the lost revenue and inconvenience.
