But later adjustments were far less careful & thorough. I had a lot of relief from a low-back issue after my first adjustment, but subsequent ones not so much. Plus, the billing was pretty weird - we ended up paying a lot more for out of pocket than we were expecting and the receptionist / office manager at the time was pretty clueless and unhelpful. They got really defensive when asked about billing, so we just stopped going.

As a health care provider, mental health advocate, and mother I am completely distraught and…read moreoffended about my family's experience today with Dr. Garofalo for my daughter's 6 month well child appointment to establish care. My husband and I had both previously seen Dr. Poling as our primary care and had great experiences, so I was excited to transfer my daughter's care to Link as well. However, my husband was met with criticism and skepticism regarding our childcare choices and I was completely shocked to hear that the Doctor noted my Bipolar Disorder and in the same breath asked if I was "living in the home" despite the fact that I am listed as the primary contact, and am the primary prescriber for our family's insurance plan, and signed that I was in fact the one preparing new patient paperwork. Because my husband was the one to take my daughter to the appointment, it was assumed I was an incompetent and uninvolved parent due to my psychiatric disability. This is blatant sexism and ableism, and I am dismayed that a provider that claims "he is skilled at addressing mental health" (as noted in his bio on the Link website) would perpetuate this type of stigma. I'm curious if he asks every mother that attends her children's appointment alone if their father is in the picture, or if he himself has attended every single doctor's appointment, school and sporting event in his children's lifetime. I absolutely loved Dr. Poling (she is the only reason I'm not rating as one star) but I am not comfortable having myself and my family treated in a clinic at which this provider practices. Dr. Garofalo's behavior and clear biases against working mothers and those living with mental illness is antithetical to Link's statement that "We practice medicine with a philosophy that centers the patient's values and experience, and pursues racial and social health justice." I truly hope Dr. Garofalo will reconsider how he interacts with patients and do some true introspective work regarding his biases.

She let me know that she sees a lot of people and doesn't have the time to find out what my symptoms are from. She did not perform an exam or ask me hardly any questions. She couldn't have cared less and was extremely condescending. It's heartbreaking to be in so much pain and pay for that type of experience. I was in the room for under 5 minutes proscribed something that she changed several times and sent on my way to figure it out.

They quoted me $250 for consultation and $2,000 for surgery scheduling. The intake paperwork they…read moresent me didn't have the specific numbers but did require a promise to pay so I emailed and asked for the price quotes in writing and didn't get a reply. I called to ask if they would provide a good faith estimate and she said no! Which is illegal under the No Surprises Act. I asked if she could respond to my questions on cost in an email so I could have it in writing and she gave me a fake email to send the questions to! I know it was fake because there was a kick back that said it didn't exist. And yes I had read the email back to her before I had hung up. Seeing the other review on here where they were surprised by an $8,000 charge explains why they refused to put anything in writing. Just want folks to be cautious, going bankrupted for medical care isn't cool. UPDATE- I emailed the email address on your website, so no confusion there. Lexi said they didn't receive it and then gave me an email: lexi.pacificendo@gmail.com, which was not real. I simply asked for the prices I was given over the phone to also be sent via email since they are not in the paper work. I'm not sure why that wouldn't be possible.

That's a laugh I'm type 2 diabetic with the usual suspects. To have that lack of professionalism is truly astounding. That clinic has no insurance dept and blame games were played all along with a referral for me between her office and Rayus Radiology. It took ME to find out what had happened. And then more blame games. I have never ever seen a clinicians own staff member "Amy" be in charge of actual referrals. She was the nurse,!!! And I wasn't wrong about Melissa Harwood's attitude on my first and only visit. Don't bother with this clinic! And to add they fancy themselves somewhat concierge Drs by which you pay a yearly fee to join. This you would think the standard by which they conduct business and communicate with patients would be much higher. Bushleague to say the least!

I have been a patient of Dr. Jackson for probably 20 years. The relationship began when he was…read moreparticipating in an after-hours clinic some local docs were running as an alternative to the ER. He scolded me a bit at that visit for not seeing my regular doc for the issue I had, and I would have but couldn't get in for weeks. I decided he was right, and that I needed a doc willing to be direct with me about issues, and "the rest is history". My experience is that when I need to get in quickly, I always can. The downside is that wait times can be extensive, and in truth they have gotten longer in the last couple years. I think this change is largely related to Dr. J's efforts to shift from an "illness orientation" to a focus on creating health. It's not a perfect patient experience yet, but he is competent, caring, and I know he wants the best for me and will take as much time to educate me as is required. Dr. J recently opened a new office to better support this desired focus on health, and I think his staff is still learning how best to resource him in this. Once the staff is more trained (allowing for a greater confidence and patient orientation) and they figure out how to better manage the patient flow, my rating of the office would go from 4 stars (well above average, in my book) to 5 stars (world-class experience, which is already how I would rate Dr. J personally). As to the focus on health, Dr. J has coached me though reducing my body weight by close to one-third, resulting in a great improvement in my health. He has the skills and passion to help his patients live a great quality of life; if that's what you're looking for in a doctor, you should check him out.
