We expect you to live with it. You should be able to handle it--other people do." When I explained that my post-surgical pain leaves me unable to dress myself or work, he said, "You should be able to do that just fine." I'm four months post-spinal fusion with ankylosing spondylosis, and he dismissed me like I was exaggerating. He also said they "can't do anything" until all my future surgeries are done. No compassion, no treatment plan, no help--just arrogance. If you're looking for actual pain management, go anywhere else. Reception was nice.
