So caring and so nice.. so why only 3 stars you ask? The staff was unnecessarily loud. One girl came over to get blood and urine or blood and urine or both... I'm still unsure. So I asked 'Do you need one or the other or both?' She responded with some combination of words that didn't answer my question. The answer is either both or either. Neither of those words came out of her mouth. Sick people are entitled to be grumpy and the staff has no patience or understanding for that. People are coming at you constantly asking about your name and insurance, when I feel like once would suffice. Nothing has changed since the last person asked 30 minutes ago. Then they love to clutch their pearls when you are less than pleasant and make snarky comments. They are great to treat their patients, but there is no sympathy for what the patient is going through. Half of them are more worried about calls from their kids and gossiping about their patients at the nurses station than trying to make their patients comfortable. The other half is there for the love of the game, so it's either a good balance or crap shoot depending on how you look at it. I don't know if they don't pay them enough to care or if they are paid well and don't realize they are paid well for dealing with grumpy clients.

I have to say that I was extremely impressed with the whole experience. There was zero hold time on the phone to make the appointment. I was able to get through to a scheduler right away, and who would've known that you can actually make an appointment at an urgent care? From the time that I made the appointment until leaving the clinic today, it was less than a 45 minute period of time. Everyone from the reception staff, the medical assistants to the nurse practitioner, Deborah, Wheeler were exceptional - their kindness,  compassion, and professionalism was second to none. An additional PLUS is that they are affiliated with Virginia Mason Health, so all my records/medications can be reviewed when I visit with them. UPDATE - When we go to Prompt Care, they estimate how long of a wait it will be. You register and then they call you when it's about 15 minutes from you being seen! SUCH a wonderful service, so we do not have to wait in a waiting room for 2 hours.
