When I arrived at her gravesite, I was saddened to find that her marker was dirty and covered with dirt and grass. I asked one of the Rose Hills employees for assistance. He told me that someone had already been called to help, but after waiting 15-20 minutes, no one came. Because I didn't feel that he was being truthful, I took a picture of the truck as it drove away. A short time later, Alejandro came over and kindly asked if we needed assistance. Ironically, he was in the same truck that had previously been there. Despite the extreme heat, Alejandro took the time to help us with kindness, professionalism, and compassion. While it was disappointing that the first employee was unwilling to assist us, I want to publicly recognize and thank Alejandro for his outstanding customer service. Employees like him make a lasting difference. Job well done, Alejandro! Lastly, Happy Heavenly Birthday to Destiny Williams, Kim Branch, and my beloved Aunt Renee Antwine on this July 27th. It had recently been my father's birthday and along with Father's Day that recently passed last week. So I wanted to make up by going to visit him and my two loved one's. Everything was pretty peaceful as alway's with my time being there. The guard's have gotten better at not trying to rush us visitor's out like what has been done sometime's rudely in the past. The only thing that really grind my gear's was the condition of my loved one's head stone's. Don't use the excuse of age. I have been come to visit my loved one's since I could barely afford a car. I know the condition from start to finish. I'm NOT appreciating the kind of inconsiderate work that the grave care takers are doing in maintaining the cemetery. My grandfather's head stone never had any scratches along with my grandmother's who have been buried there for a long time now. My farther's is still okay. I just ask respectfully if the grave care taker's of the cemetery could be a little my considerate.
