When I first learned just how far behind my son was academically I was very concerned as any parent would be.He was behind more than three grade levels in both Reading and Math. I knew I had several options to help him get back his confidence and academic level to where it should be. I decided to make the investment with Sylvan and from day one I was consulted, guided and included by the staff in everything he was going to be doing while at the center. He has attended three times a week and I was giving monthly updates along with phone consults by the staff. I have also called in on several occasions and the staff (all of them) was so patient and helpful I could not have picked a better place. The tutoring is not cheap but it's your child's education so I could not think of a better investment. I would recommend Sylvan to anyone who sees their child struggling to keep up with their current curriculum. Keep up the great work you are doing everything right.

He gives you bios of tutors and you get to select your tutor and for any reason if it doesn't work out, you can change to another tutor. So far, I have only received the best tutors and never had any issue except for some minor scheduling issues that came up on my end and Reza resolved right away. It is nice to have a tutoring company that truly cares about each student and not just about collecting your money. The payment policy is also great because you get a discount for prepaid packages and if for any reason you need to cancel, you get your money back for the unused credits. I went to a bunch of other tutoring centers that charged much more and they had strict policies of buying prepaid and non refundable packages. I felt uncomfortable taking the risk of buying a huge package and not knowing if I liked the place. Also, with tutor genius the tutors come to your home which saves me the drive. Since then, my daughter has thrived with teaching tailored to her abilities rather than her age (she has a late birthday, so in the public school system she would still be at the preschool level). Thanks to the support of her teachers, she has excelled academically. After a year at FVM, she took the GATE exam through the school district. Not only was she able to skip a grade, and she was also accepted into the GATE program. I truly believe this wouldn't have happened if she hadn't attended FVM. I'm incredibly grateful to FVM and all the staff. Ms. Sneha is such a kind and caring person. Without her, my daughter wouldn't have had the opportunity to learn here. Ms. Neranja, one of my daughter's primary teachers, holds strong teaching principles, and whenever I speak with her, I feel confident that my daughter is in good hands. My daughter often talks about her teachers at home, especially Ms. Neranja and Ms. Erika. Although my daughter has only been at FVM for a short time, the experience has had a profoundly positive impact and laid a strong foundation for her future educational goals. There's an indoor shoe policy (parents provide the shoes), which adds to the sense of cleanliness and comfort in the classrooms. COL follows a well-structured curriculum tailored to each child's age and developmental stage. Children are grouped accordingly to ensure they're learning and growing in an environment best suited to their needs. The enrichment classes are a wonderful bonus--my daughter absolutely loved her ballet classes, and there are also options like piano, taekwondo, and/or dance throughout the year. Drop-off, pick-up, daily activities, and communications are all tracked through an app. The food! They serve three meals a day, and I was genuinely envious of how delicious and nutritious they looked. My daughter loved every bite--often going back for seconds and even thirds at times! Most importantly, the sense of community here is incredible. Over the years, we've built strong relationships with both staff and other families. Ms. Chau, Ms. Melisa, Ms. Hanh, and Ms. Rachel have been an integral part of our journey at COL. My daughter and I are leaving with lifelong friends and cherished memories.
