Separately mathnasium has their own effective currency called "cards" that students earn based on how much math they do and they then use those cards to buy whatever items they want ranging from candy to toys to even big ticket items like ps5 or Nintendo switches. Occasionally, when my kids are not following a lesson at school, they do not hesitate to ask the tutors at Mathnasium to spend time to work on that specific lesson, so they can be more prepared when they return to school the next day. Overall, my kids believes Mathnasium is crucial for all types of students. The El Segundo location is convenient , and all the tutors are great with the kids. The head staff is very patient, and is willing to take time to discuss the progression of the student with the parents.
