She said it was her favorite camp of the summer - which says a lot since she was in a lot of great camps. My daughter now goes once week for 1st grade Smart Start. Despite being in an immersion program where only 20% of the day is in English, my daughter is reading 1-2 grade levels above and what is more important is that absolutely loves reading!!! Mori pressed me to sign up for almost 2 months of tutoring based on his claims of being the best economic tutor in the state. I never usually pay for anything before services are rendered, but Mori was convincing so I settled on paying for 2 days of tutoring in advance for $75 a pop! 1 week before the tutoring session, I informed Mori that I would not need both days because my daughter did much better on her exams than we initially thought. Mori responded with "let's do the 1st session and see how it goes". Well, my daughter was not impressed and even told me Mori was distracted while tutoring because he was cooking! I requested a refund for the 2nd day of tutoring, and Mori then indicates that he needed to charge me for the time he spent during the consultation period. No where on his website or during the consultations did he mention he was charging me. This was just a dishonest way to come up something to keep my money. Thank GOD I didn't fall for his tricks and sign up for over a month. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this one man, dishonest, subpar organization and owner.
