After agreeing on a price and work to be done, they came by a few weeks later to do the job. They stripped the current beds and replaced the debris with pretty black mulch and edged them up nicely. I also had a large tree in my backyard that was overgrown and hanging over my patio/roof and neighbor's fence. They did an amazing job trimming it up while keeping it balanced. Provided options for future seasons "work in" plants that met our original design concept. In 2008 we had My Secret Garden design our back yard Prairie Scape and work in the front yard upgrades. Total scam. I emailed asking for pricing for a cord of mixed firewood, delivery and carry-up to my…read moredeck. I was quoted $480. A few bucks less than what I paid the year before. Then I inquired about a face cord for my neighbor, and I was quoted $340. That didn't make sense since a face is a third of a cord, so I asked for confirmation, and I got a response saying basically "I didn't understand, the cord is $1,300." $1,300 for a cord of wood? I didn't ask for Sequoia or teak. I've been getting wood for years from places as far away from me as this place, same amount, same mix, carry-up, and it's never been even half this amount. I understand getting wood in the city is expensive, but $1,300 is an absolute joke. Definitely shop around.
