I needed total landscape design at my new home, so I left messages with 3 companies. Brandon was the only one who returned my call, and I'm so glad he did. He came up with a perfect design that fit within my budget. His workers were courteous, informative, and respectful. My home looks beautiful! I wouldn't hesitate to use Bright Green again. I love their work and I highly recommend Brandon. read more

Very Rude worker today! Being a non lazy person and not wanting to wait what seems hours for grass to be removed from walk ways I sweep in front of my apartment. Actually I do this about 3 times a week to keep things nice. The Crew See's me doing this, not a small section, I go to the end, so clearly she to half of the area I'm at. This guy comes in from the other way and blows grass where He & other staff have seen me just sweep. Why? What's the reason for the rudeness? Secondly Please invest in a mulching push mower, these folks are using weed eaters to burn down an odd kinda triangle spot where the big mower don't fit. When I first asked maintenance about it, they thought it was from people's dogs. Well their not burning it down as close as they were but I sure wouldn't have pride in the job. It's very important to take pride in your job no matter what it is. It's only you making you & your company look bad. I've been asked for referrals for this work, I have Never given this companies name. Hope you get a better staff next year with some common sense, maybe do around one unit and get rid of grass before moving on? Hell if I want to track it in! Disappointed to say the least, it's not hard to mow grass! read more

Bright Green Landscapes - Sorry for the shaded area but gives an idea of difference in length of grass because someone can't/won't use a push mower. Sad! - Snow Removal Near Me - Elgin, Illinois

This is the only service company I've dealt with in my 80+ years who required a 1/2 payment before they even show up. They did not do a thorough job of cleaning up the flower beds. They chopped things off an left a lot of refuse behind. If it didn't blow out, they just left it. In addition, the man who came to see about the work ahead of time, came with the workers for just a few minutes the day of the work and then left. Consequently, they did not do all the work that we paid for. When I asked them, they said, "The boss didn't tell us to do that." I wouldn't hire them again. read more

I needed a yard clean up and new mulch put down. Working with Brandon was great. From coming out to do the estimate to the completion of the job he is always in touch with his customers. Bushes were trimmed, mulch put down, weed control, and some transplanting done also. You should not hesitate to call Bright Green for your landscaping needs. He is fairly priced and someone you will like to work with. His crew is great too! read more

Bright Green Landscapes - Very detail oriented and beautiful work - Snow Removal Near Me - Elgin, Illinois

Awesome work done by an awesome two-guy crew. The new duplex I bought had a poorly maintained front, side and rear lawn and beds. The beds were full of weeds and random rocks, sticks, branches and bricks. I asked Brandon S. at BGL to come by and take a look and he came the next morning to review my problems and give me an estimate. After agreeing on a price and work to be done, they came by a few weeks later to do the job. They stripped the current beds and replaced the debris with pretty black mulch and edged them up nicely. I also had a large tree in my backyard that was overgrown and hanging over my patio/roof and neighbor's fence. They did an amazing job trimming it up while keeping it balanced. I now get more sunlight through my sliding doors! Then they cleaned up and hauled away all the crap they had to remove from my property. They came around 830a and was all done by 130p. I'd definitely hire them again... probably to actually treat the crazy weeds that have taken over my entire front and back lawn! One step at a time! Thanks, Brandon, Brandon and Gabriel! read more

I hired Bright Green last fall to remove mint, daylillies, instal pond rock, and clean up some bushes and trees. Originally I was incredibly happy with the service. Everything looked great...until the spring. I was fully aware that some mint may return due to the invasive nature of the plant. But I was told by Brandon that if it came back there would be very little. The mint is almost just as bad as last year and has even sprouted in areas far from where it was before. Additionally I have had to remove the daylillies as well as they too returned. I spoke to Brandon and his only solution was to come back and give me another quote. He did not stand behind his work from the fall. He didn't even want to see how much mint had grown back, he just wanted me to pay for the service again. I had planned on hiring this company yearly for cleanup but won't be doing that now. read more

Tried to get a quote for mulch two times and the guy never showed up. The woman answering the phone was of no help and would not return calls. There was no mistake I was calling your company. Look all the way back to June when I started to call. read more

I spent a lot of time researching before deciding on Bright Green for our weekly lawn mowing, and the things that made them stand out the most were the prompt responses and professionalism of Brandon and Stephanie. So when we decided to do some landscaping this year, they were our first call. Brandon has been so easy to work with from coming out to do our initial estimate and design plan, keeping us updated on timeline, all the way through installation. He is transparent, responsive, very knowledgeable, and gave us some great suggestions on our design to best fit our needs. The whole crew showed up on install day on time and were incredibly efficient and professional. They made sure we were completely happy with the finished product. Aside from our landscaping looking great, they were a pleasure to work with! We will be using Bright Green for our next project and have recommended them to family and friends as well. I needed sod installed in an area in my backyard, and wanted some advice about some other landscape related issues. I ran across Bright Green Landscapes during an internet search for local landscapers. They have a nice web page describing their services as well as pictures of their finished work. I called and Brandon came right out for an estimate. What i really liked was that he took the time to explain the work he was planning to do and answered any questions I had regarding the sod project and other issues. In my opinion, communication with a contractor is important. It keeps you both on the same page. You can't go wrong with Bright Green Landscapes. read more

We are very happy with the work Brandon did on our yard. We needed to add soil around our home to divert water away from the house. Brandon also recommended French drains to prevent water from pooling in the yard. He and his crew were able to install them in one day, and they are working great. Brandon answered all our questions and also came back to address a clogged gutter problem, at no charge to us. We found his rates to be very reasonable for the work done. We are pleased to recommend Bright Green Landscapes. read more

We needed to have the landscaping at our townhouse replaced. When we called for a quote Brandon was there the next day. He gave us very helpful suggestions regarding the work to be done and which plants would be the best choices. Also, the pricing is very reasonable. The work was scheduled to be done on a timely basis. When the two-man crew came to do the work, they were punctual, friendly, efficient and left everything clean and neat. We highly recommend Bright Green Landscapes. read more

After making an in-person evaluation, providing a rough estimate and agreeing to complete my patio project over email, the manager completely stopped communicating. He kept delaying the project date for weeks at a time. There were three days of bad weather, so I understood a few days delay was likely, but not weeks. He requested a signed contract which I told him I would be happy to return if he could offer confirmation of the project details and dates. No response. He failed to respond to three voice mails and three follow up emails (over the course of 2 weeks). I sent one final message trying to give him the benefit of the doubt (in the chance that there was illness or something involved) but still received no response. Now two months later, I'm back at square one. If this is standard practice for this company then it is something I would avoid. read more
