It's a fairly small space, most of which centers around the bar, which suits us to a tee. The service was really great, the vibe what we had hoped for, and the food was fantastic. The cocktail selection is varied and fun, if maybe a little pricey. The Pork Mushroom pate with the Crostini was amazing, and something we will try and replicate at home for sure. We also got the blackened Shishito peppers with a verde mayo and lime. We'd not had those peppers before, and they were delicious. The Pumpkin seed pesto Spaetzle and the elk steak went well together as well. Not our first spaetzle as we make it at home quite a bit, but our first exposure to elk, and it was excellent. There are so many choices in downtown, and many new, so it's a battlefield for diners. We'll be back to micro, and suggest you check it out too!

My partner and I checked it out the weekend after the Sept long weekend. We were stoked to check out the nightlife only to realize that really 2 of the venues were busy while the others were neglected. Flashbacks was one of them. We were trying to get a feel of the different venues available so we went in here to get some rap/hip hop/R&B on. It was dead the night we went, with people coming in and out thoughout the night. We ended up staying since the music was awesome, the DJ was super nice and played all our requests (probably because we were the only two on the dance floor..) and the staff there were also really friendly. Not sure if Flashbacks is busier on other nights, but we'd go back if we're in Kelowna - free cover and good music is always a win even if you're one of the few stragglers in the club!
