Now there are "new leaks". while they did not do the install, I was understanding of that and wanted the leaks repaired and system re-charged. but the tech said he could not stay as he had other people to get to... So my appointment does not matter. He would stay 60-90 minutes to refill freon for $500, but when the repairs are done in a few weeks, we will have to pay that again as it will leak out when connection is being fixed. Why is my appointment that was already bumped of lower priority than everyone else's? We WERE willing to pay for repairs and re-fill, but to blow me off to go to another call and want me to pay to re-charge system 2x at higher cost than the normal fee I can find everywhere on-line. My brother recently had a sewer pipe break in his home and called some place in Neffsville to get it repaired. He told me that they told him that most of the sewer piping in the basement will need to be replaced since it is an old house in the town of Manheim and told him that it will be close to $6000 for the repair. He said that he contacted them because he had heard an ad for them recently. I told him call Haldeman's and they sent a guy out to check out what was needed. He told them that this is a common issue in older homes and that this will be a very routine repair. They ended up doing the job shortly afterwards and the final bill was just under $2500!! He was thrilled with the speed and the pricing that he was charged from Haldeman's. Moving forward, he will be calling them for any needs in the future. The parts had to be ordered which seemed to take a long time, then once they finally came back they had the wrong part resulting in another weeks long delay. She had just sold the home and wanting to make sure it was in working order for the new owner, and she went to great lengths to get it fixed prior to closing. Even though the system/parts were under warranty, they charged her almost $2,000 for labor to fix a one year old system! Then, the day AFTER closing, the system went out again for the new owner, and instead of guaranteeing the work wanted to charge them another $2,000 for a separate fix. The new owner decided to get a whole new system with a different provider. Several weeks of stress and lots of money spent by both parties with a trip to the hospital thrown in bc my MIL was so hot and dehydrated without her AC...so no, do NOT recommend Essig!

Updated my review again. They did come out again, and seems…read morethe issue stemmed from another install error. Our system was slowly leaking refrigerant until it was out. I'm hesitant to say it's fixed, we will see as time goes on. Currently we have working minisplits. The AI is extremely frustrating to talk to, I hate it. We have had several install issues with our minisplits in the 2.5y since topline sold and installed them. First they leaked all over our walls, now they have a refrigerant error and don't work at all. They charged $14,000 for subpar equipment and installation service which could have gotten us a reliable brand like Carrier or Mitsubishi as well as reliable service from a trustworthy HVAC company. $14,000 is fine for a 10y+ reliable system, 2.5 years and having to have the company out over and over again? And they want to charge to come out again which I understand business wise, however we shouldn't be having these issues to begin with on a new $14,000 system. Stay far away from this company. I will update my review if they make this right. After a lot of back and forth they should be out Wednesday.

After a week we don't have cool air anymore. Second guy Ray who was a senior tech showed us the pipes are frozen and shut down our AC and said there's no more Freon. Third guy Albert said the controller needs replacement. We still have no AC for a month now. We asked AHS to send another company for a second opinion. Ever since Topline has been harassing us with phone calls and making excuses to not refund the $600 refund for the Freon they charged us. We will never recommend them to anyone.
