Firstly, they unclogged my toilet pretty quickly. So that's good. Secondly, they overcharged me by mistake and in response to my earlier negative review here on Yelp, they refunded the overcharge. That shows they care about their reputation and customer service. The only downside is that I feel they are a bit on the expensive side. But perhaps other customers may find their prices reasonable. I do know that the lowest price in town is not necessarily the best deal and that (sometimes) quality comes at a price. read more

We had a backed up basement drain, they were responsive, came out quickly on a weekend to fix the problem. The work was efficient and we have no complaints about it. However, the person who came initially refused to wear a mask, told us he didn't even have one until we refused to let him into our home without one. We are a year into this pandemic, it is unfathomable someone would have such little regard for his and others' safety. I had to connect to public sewer and used this firm, not just for my hook up but the township was going to allow whatever firm I chose to install the tap in, at the township expense. Jes came out and ask me what bushes I didn't mind losing to connect the 60 plus foot pipe from my sewer to the township sewer tap in. We discussed 2 large bushes that may need to come down to connect, which I could understand. It was to be a 3 day job, one day for the sewer tap in to be installed for the township and 2 days for my hook up. He then said that a portion of my fence needed to come down temporarily to do the job but that they would put a temporary fence up to keep my 4 dogs from leaving the yard. I gave him the job because I told him he was the only company that seemed to take it seriously that I only worried about my dogs getting out of the fence and my plants, bushes etc being taken care of. He thanked me for the job and said he would take care of both of those things. He texted me the night before and said he would be there at 745am to do the tap in on my neighbor's yard. I replied I would not be there until 830am. He didn't reply. I arrived at 835am to see that my fence was already down, although they were in my neighbor's yard installing the tap in for the township. I yelled over to him , "Hey, what about the temporary fence?" as I had to let my 4 dogs out and Jes's incredibly nasty reply was to say that tempers are high on this job and I was late. The job had just started 45 minutes ago, and this was not the same guy who gave me the estimate. Interesting, since he wasn't even working on my portion of the job yet, so why was the fence down already and he specifically knew I only cared about my dogs and not having my bushes and trees destroyed. Realized I should probably have gone with someone else at that point, as he was a totally different person than when he gave me the estimate. I went out of my way to stay away from him the rest of the job because I just wanted the job done, at this point That first day he and his employees seemed to try not to destroy every tree, bush and plant in my yard but the 2nd day I realized that Jes was speeding up the job and employees, I am assuming because he was spending more on hourly wages than he thought and the job would not be as lucrative as he had previously thought? But even after me telling his backhoe operator to please stop running over the bushes, especially the one my mother gave me for Mother's Day before she died, and please save what is left of it and the rest, he continued to run them over and destroy them until every bush was either gone, broken in half or there were giant portions of bark knocked off the trees he continued to hit over and over. They then spread top soil on the neighbor's yard before reseeding and strawing and I was told by Jes that the township paid for that but it wasn't in my estimate. More like he knew I would never call him again after he and his employees destroyed my yard but the township might, so he didn't want any complaints from them. He had never asked me if I wanted topsoil and I never realized they would level 1/3 of my 1/2 acre yard for this 60 foot job and that I would need a landscaper to fix what he and his employees destroyed, both in grass and all the vegetation. His employee had a tiny hand held grass seed spreader and didn't even spread a half of a bag of grass seed, which did nothing for that amount of yard and then they spread huge amounts of straw on top of it. When I told him grass would NEVER grow the way he did it with so much straw and hardly any seed and that all the bushes and plants were destroyed, especially the one my mom gave me, he said, "This is the way we always do grass seed and I will buy you a 10 dollar bush at Highland Gardens and we can say a prayer over it for your mom." Wow, nice guy, passive aggressive moron that just wanted the job because it basically paid twice, my job and the township job. Hurried on a 3 day job to do it in 2 days and wrecked 100's of dollars of bushes, trees and perennials. Now I realize why he kept asking me during the time he gave me the estimate if I had any other estimates. Because it was a lucrative job, doing both at the same time. He also told me what a hard job it was and acted like he was doing me a favor, instead of ot being a paying job. Funny, it only took you only 2 days when you quoted me 3 days. I couldn't have been that hard, Jes. There are plenty of plumbers and excavators out there. Find a reputable company that isn't all about money and has a less arrogant, entitiled owner. These men were simply "THE BEST PLUMBERS ever." I thought I had a leaking shower. They found it was my condensation pipe coming from my furnace backing up and a sink tied Into that same line created more of an issue. My high priced neo-angle shower is safe for now. $15,000 versus $165 for Drain Doctors. I would give them 10 stars if I could. I will call them FIRST from now on!! This company couldn't keep to a schedule and constantly juggled who was coming out. Then sent some unprofessional kid who didn't know what he came to fix. He ignored us reiterating the actual problem and fixed something irrelevant. Then he said a large leak was fixed when it was clearly not, charged $140 and left. We used another company later and to see what needed fixed it was blatantly obvious the Drain Doc guy didn't know what he was doing. I gave Drain Doctors a chance to come fix the problem before we went elsewhere but they made me wait a whole night, stood me up, then ignored my request for rescheduling when they could fit me in and never called back. Go any where else! These guys are completely unreliable and just don't care at all!! read more

This company is really good. Fixed my issue right away. Took about an hour, and the drains were open and running. Tylor is very good at his job, and explains what needs to happen. We had a clogged sewer line. I regret calling this company -- my worst experience with a repair service. The first plumber couldn't find the house trap to clear the sewer line. A second plumber came hours later and couldn't find it, either. This guy was rude from the beginning. He suggested calling a third person with a camera for an extra $350 and about $750 of total charges. I declined and just offered to pay what we owed for their time, which at that point he said was $250. Instead, he said he'd keep looking for the line, without telling me that he would charge hundreds of dollars per hour to wander around the yard. They eventually found it and cleared the line. In the process, though, they took off two boards from our back steps. They pried off one board and broke the screws, leaving it unsecured. They didn't properly screw down the second board when they were done, either, so now the steps are uneven. In the end, he charged me $710, anyway, despite not bringing the camera, which was supposed to be the most expensive step. All around unsatisfactory. read more

My husband and I found ourselves in a situation where we were in emergency need of the services of a plumber for our main bathroom toilet. We were given the name of a plumbing service by friends and they quickly gave us an appointment for the next day. The next day they left a voice message for us that they were canceling the appointment until next TUESDAY! Just terrible service and beyond rude.
