I have been to many optometrists and ophthalmologists over many years. Doctor Lucas of Clear View…read moreOptometric is by far superior to all the others. He is absolutely thorough in his exam. He cuts no corners and takes his time. He is a perfectionist in everything he does. His testing equipment is state-of-the-art, up-to-date, modern, and squeaky clean. I have never seen so much state-of-the-art equipment. He has spared no expense. He is very friendly and approachable. His receptionist is thorough with the vision insurance. She found coverage I didn't even know I had. Their frame selection is appealing, high-quality and ample as well as Varilux progressives, high quality lens materials, and beautiful AR coatings. I would also like to add that Doctor Lucas personally took my progressive measurements and he was so careful and precise about the measurements. In closing, well worth the trip to Ukiah or Cloverdale for such outstanding service.

Sara had better never leave or I seriously may have to hunt her down!!! She is the only person that has EVER been able to help me choose frames that look decent on me. So many places just won't give you their opinions on how they look on you, and with so many frames to choose from, it can be overwhelming. The pair I got a year ago or so... I had bazillions of compliments on them. And they are nothing that I likely would have ever even picked up on my own. And I went to Dr. Soria just before he left and have now been to see Dr. Smith. I was happy with both. No fat shaming here as one reviewer mentioned. Just kindness (and a few laughs to boot). Although I'm a prime candidate for it. I also love the new automated equipment they have! P.S. They will take your old glasses and give them to charity.

The Dr.'s office said that they couldn't get in touch with me- so they donated my glasses to people in need. "PEOPLE IN NEED"! Are they F'ING KIDDING ME? (YES, my new number IS listed in the phone book.) They had my address- was a postcard too much trouble? You know what's trouble? Social media is, and it's gonna cost that optometrist more than $200 when I'm done. I won't say his name, but he's the only one in Cloverdale. Let's just call him "Mr. Magoo".
