This place is crazy. Went for a really nice dinner in downtown Howell with friends. Bowling afterwards sounded great. Boy did this place fill up fast. Put our names in before 9:30pm, got a drink at the bar and waited to be called. It's affordable night out with no frills. The bowling is cheap, the beer is cold and cheap and lanes are oiled. That is all you need. We had a lot of fun. It does get busy for Saturday bowling so get there early to reserve a lane. It's $5 per game plus shoe rental. Plenty of balls but get your fav before the crowd. Lots of seating however not a lot of room between the tables. No service - you have to go to the bar for your drinks. No food either though I did see a restaurant of sorts there. I was looking for something sweet and the old man that worked there pointed me to some leftover holiday brownies from the party they had earlier. The old lady got mad at him for offering them to me for free. I appreciated the offer and we happily bought drinks from the bar and tipped well. We'll be back with our friends. read more

I've been bowling all my life and bowled in many houses in Michigan. I bowled here once and came away disappointed. Games were more expensive than other houses and the keypads at each lane are purposely turned off so you can't even do a score change or reset your lane when a pin is missing (which happens frequently). You have to walk to the front desk and stand in line for them to fix. They also refused to give us a new lane even though half the house was open. I think that's poor/lazy customer service and I wouldn't bowl here again and would advise you go to a different house. read more

My husband and 18 year old son were waiting for the rest of the family to arrive and ended up walking out due to the way they were treated. The server asked for a CC or ID before they could even order because "a lot of people walk out" No one else had to do this. It took them a few minutes to realize they were being profiled. Their drinks were put into Togo cups even though they stated they were eating there. She was very rude and kept watching them. We don't go out often and we will never go here again. Absolutely LOVE this bowling alley! Prices are reasonable and guy behind counter is very helpful and friendly! I usually bowl there and practice on Sunday afternoons. He knows me when I walk in and the lanes are well kept and food is pretty good! Only ordered french fries but was a lot for reasonable price! Will go there to practice from now on! ALWAYS have a great time there! Have taken my son there a couple of times and both loved it! Love to watch the little ones (bowlers in the making) bowl and be surprised if they get a strike or pick up a spare or split! Used to practice at Brighton Bowl (I bowl on a league there). This bowling alley is one of the cleanest I've ever been to. The pricing is fair for both a game of bowling and rentals. This bowling alley offers the "Kids Bowl Free" program over the summer, which I find to be completely amazing! They are the only one in Howell that is affiliated with the program. Kids can bowl everyday of the summer, 2 games for free. Just have to pay for shoes. There is also a discounted family pass so that adults can bowl too! You should sign up if you haven't already! I took a group of 3 kids on a Wednesday afternoon. We were helped quickly and the lady behind the counter joked with the kids & was very polite. We needed bumpers and the metal thing to push the ball from & they were more than helpful in getting it set up for us. We had a great time! The bowling alley itself is pretty typical of others I've been to. Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable with a good crowd. The kids can't wait to go back! read more

I haven't been bowling in awhile so I took my kids and nephew to bowl including my 1 1/2 yr old daughter. There was 6 of us. We paid for 2 games. They put us on one lane. It was 4 pm. Someone who works there then came up to my boyfriend at 4:25 and told him we had to be done by 5 pm. So they put the 3 boys on another lane. Myself, my boyfriend and daughter didn't get done with our 1st game until 4:45. We told the guy at the counter that we wouldn't be done with our 2nd game by 5. They gave my bf tokens for a free game to come back and play on a different day. But we have to pay for our shoes when we do. They said they couldnt give us our money back for the game we didn't play. The lady who rang us up didn't tell us we had to be done by 5. If she had i would have only said 1 game. I spent $100 just to be rushed to finish the games Im very disapointed and will not be returning. read more

The bartender and servers are nice, a little coo coo. The larger manager though is very rude and has no customer service skills. We were on a league and had to miss one day, we called Friday night and asked if we could make it up. They said yes. We showed up and the manager said "we dont do league make ups on fridays" and then proceeded to allow open bowlers to come in but turned us away who had already prepaid for this league. This happened to us twice!!! We called ahead both times and they told us to come in and then they changed their minds when we showed up and turned us away. The larger manager was a douche bag about both of these situations. The bowling alley is a decent size. The prizes in the arcade suck. Drinks are a reasonable price and food isnt bad. read more

I just ordered a second drink and was served the same glass, same old lime, and no new ice. The staff is slow and the bartender is 100, maybe counting to 5 on the pour is asking too much? Went on a weekend night for open bowling, we called ahead to confirm what time it started. Once we arrived, the guy put our names down, said about 10 minutes. We watched the lanes clear from leagues, others names were called and 45 minutes later and a pitcher of beer, we left! I have lived in Howell for three years and never went to the bowling alley. I finally went because my daughter was asking to go. I expected it to be kind of gross inside and wasn't sure if it was going to be a friendly environment for four and a half year-old. I was very pleasantly surprised. It's actually very clean and nice inside and they were very accommodating to my four-year-old. She had a special ball that was smaller... They had a ramp she could use to send the ball down the lane, and the bumpers would pop up automatically when it was her turn. The food is nothing spectacular but it is there. And they have a decent menu for a small town bowling alley. The people that were in there where very friendly and I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. We were there on a Friday between 530 and 7:30 PM. The lady at the bar means well. She's just pretty slow so if you're going expecting stellar service you'll probably be disappointed.
