I was already working with Scott at Michigan Sandblasting and planned to have my Jeep's underbody sandblasted there. Rashid told me they could apply POR-15 afterward, so based on that I paid to have the Jeep towed down there. After it arrived, everything changed. Rashid started questioning the project and for over a week I was given the runaround. Multiple times Rashid told me he would "talk to Scott figure out a solution and call me back," but the call back never happened. Every time I followed up I got the same vague response and nothing actually moved forward. Rashid knew all of the details prior to me towing it down there. If this wasn't a job they wanted to take on, that should have been communicated from the beginning instead of telling me to bring the vehicle down and spend money towing it there. It's extremely frustrating to be told something can be done, only to have the shop avoid giving a straight answer after the vehicle is already there. Very disappointing and unprofessional way to handle a customer. I wasted time and money because they couldn't simply be upfront about whether they were willing to do the work.

It had clearly been sitting outside for 3 months. It was filthy and there is surface rust on my rims. There is some kind of brown crap all over my piant that won't come off. The gas tank was full when he got it, now it's at a quarter tank. There is dirt and dried leaves and grass all over the carpet and floor mats. if i could give them zero stars i would. took 3 weeks to get my car in, then they had it for 3…read moreweeks before they caimed the frame was twisted and it was a total loss...took another 3 weeks to get my car. in that time they didnt even put the car parts back on the car and claimed they couldn't ("its like trying to put square pegs into a round hole due to the frame being twisted.") took the car to my mechanic and we put the parts back on in 1 hours time and the frame is totally straight...only issue is the part that goes around the front headlight, slightly bent. when i dropped off my car they said they would give me updates twice a week...they never called me once with an update. worst auto body shop ever...avoid this franchise, they are the worst!!! Just found out they removed my windshield washer fluid reservoir and didn't put the part back on the car or return it to me...as far as my knowledge they must give back all parts taken off the car...potentially illegal...nice driving in Michigan winter with no washer fluid....this place is a joke!!!

I told them I'll try somewhere else and they said all body shops would be a long wait. I called Korte's Collision and they said it would be a week. I dropped it off after the replacement parts came in on a Monday and it was done by Friday. They did an excellent job, can't even tell I wrecked it. It's a family owned business and you can tell they take pride in that. If I had to say one thing negative is they didn't call me when the parts came in. After they were ordered about a week with no word. I called the and they said they were in. Not sure how long I would have waited if I didn't call. Definitely not a deal breaker, for all I know they came in that day and they would have called be that afternoon. If I ever wreck my car again, I will take it here and will recommend it to anyone that needs body repairs.
