By far the cheapest Crossfit Box in all of NY State. The instructors are friendly and push you to your max all the time.

The members were welcoming also, which created an awesome atmosphere to train in. The WODs were well programmed--challenging but fun--and I left feeling like I got a great workout. Absolutely love this gym!! All of the coaches are amazing and very friendly and informative…read more Patrick and Domenique have a great gym with all the guidance you will need on your health journey. Firstly the space is very big and super clean. Everyone in the gym respects each others space and the next people that will arrive. They are always wiping down the weights, bars, pads, ect. Basically anything that might be touched gets wiped down. The office is clean and organized. They have refreshments for sale. They always have hand sanitizer available. There's a bathroom to wash your hands and wipe off. They have the space sectioned for covid which is great. The work out area is huge and has everything you need for your work out. They have lots of parking and an easy online sign in app. The work outs are great and intense. They have a strength portion and hiit portion which I love. I love that you get a mix of both and they are not overly pushy about increasing weight. They always take time to demonstrate the moves. They constantly walk around to ensure form is followed correctly. They encourage you to give it your all but they don't put you down for going at a level your comfortable in. The music is really good and motivating. The classes are affordable and you can choose a variety of packages to fit your budget/ lifestyle. I highly recommend checking them out. They are absolutely fantastic. Also say hi to Minnie the office mascot.

It has a similar classes to Barrys, SoulCycle, or F45, but what makes it stand out is the setup, a large training center with separate rooms for different class styles. It feels like one of the city's best kept fitness secrets. The space is modern and spacious, the workouts are excellent, and the classes are never overcrowded. Highly recommend.

I started with the Solido class which was amazing and targeted glutes and abs. It literally flew by and I was sweating! Next I tried Savage, which rotated between 4 minutes of different weight training and sculpting moves and then 4 minutes of treadmill work. Their treadmills have handy guides for athletic levels and intensity and the incline and speed are easily adjusted. I liked this class and according to my Apple Watch, burned a TON of calories here, although I do not recommend doing this class fasted as jumping back and forth and the starting and stopping from moves and sprints made me quite dizzy at times. This class was on the first floor. Finally, I tried a Tonic class, which was very weights focused and had active breaks in between the working portions. This class was on the lower level of the studio. Each class has an instructional video ahead of time and moves demoed on the screens the entire time with a timer for the moves and timers to show your progress in the class which I really appreciated. The music in every class I took was always super fun and a mix of EDM, hip hop and Latin music. They also offer a spin class I believe called Stride and a boxing class called Jab The studio itself is amazing with lots of neon lights to set the mood, plants, tons of reflective details in the locker rooms and on the lockers and gorgeous seating in the lobby. The lobby has a bar with tea, coffee, some waters and pre packaged protein drinks. I do wish they had more of a selection of pre and post workout choices but I'm sure those will come! They let me know soon they'll be offering alcohol as well and free wine if you take a class on Friday! You get a hand towel for class and if you want to use their showers, they provide towels. The bathrooms are gorgeous and have amenities provided. Some of the best studio showers I've been in with plenty of room to hang your toiletries. The staff was super polite and outgoing and everything was clean and tidy. They even have a clothing shop with unique and cute workout sets from a Latino owned brand. I can't say good things enough about this studio and hope they expand their class offerings!

So it really is great at providing a full body workout! Their instructors are energetic and fun. Note- this is NOT Pilates (megareformer is not pilates). It is a strength fitness class that utilizes a megareformer. Form 50 has a cute aesthetic- pink light, pink & white springs, pink handles. So you can decide if that's your thing! Amenities are good- lots of lockers, bathroom & showers (not all studios i go to have showers). Conveniently located in midtown, not far from the 6 train. This is available on ClassPass! Other than that, they're pretty similar in that their total body sculpt workouts are pretty good, though they do focus more on abs, glutes, legs by nature of Pilates. The instructor kept it interesting and gave us a variety of moves using most of the components of the megareformer machine. It was a tough workout but in a good way--I thought I'd be pretty fit since I play volleyball 2-3 times/week every week but Pilates has humbled me once again. Form50 has a lot of offers -- 2 pack or 2 week unlimited membership for new clients, various class packs and being listed on ClassPass. Towels are only free for members; otherwise, it's $3 per towel. The facility is very clean and aesthetic too. I also like how there are more than enough lockers, compared to some fitness studios where I feel like I have to scramble for locker space.

Super appreciate that they provide towels and massage guns. I like that there's a simple warmup and cooldown stretch incorporated. Feels very no-bullshit, get-it-done, and positive vibes. Only one single-person bathroom/shower seems a little impractical, but other than that I really had a great experience.
