COME ON IN, GET YOUR POSTCARDS!!…read morewas looking for picture postcards of the area because this area is overflowing with card-worthy scenes and scenery and this is where I found 'em. some are about the tri-cities and local goings on, some are period pieces, some are just kinda fun or funny. not really sure why postcards are so hard to find around here (or anywhere?) on the front is a better snap than most people will ever take and on the reverse there's usually an interesting bit of about the image on front... and after picking out postcards there's regular cards, playing cards, incenses, desk signs, finger puppets, refrigerator magnets, posters, games, all manner of t-shirts and puzzles, and candies and nostalgic references to the dawn of the nuclear age to amuse people of all ages who get that an entire world existed before they were told otherwise.

so Reggie has been jonesing for popcorns from here since about the middle of February and today we…read moremanaged to actually pop in... walked into a clean little store smelling wonderfully of popcorn and assorted flavorings :-) we were greeted by a clever young person and half a dozen fresh popped options in the cases up front that are available in four sizes from kinda little to kinda big (plus a 2-gallon tin with discounted refills) besides a bunch of prepackaged flavors and combinations on the racks. after sampling a few flavors I went with a simple blend: the cheesey garlic which ought to repel all but the smittenest suitors or vampires and the habanero which has a pleasant afterglow that builds slowly but steadily until you're left holding an empty bucket... yea hot popcorn! a little spendy for popcorn but that's true for nearly every consumable and convenience product. so come on in and get a bag of your favorite flavor! and while you're sitting at home stuffing your face remember that someone else is cleaning the kettles.
