I have a fungal infection of the skin that leaves patches of yellowish spots on my face. In my youth late teens and early twenties I was often complimented on how smooth my black skin was. In my late twenties I began to get get the patches on my face chest and scalp. The face and body of a man are his essence. Before a woman can know your heart she must first capture the external before being a witness to your core. The body part of mine is checked. Compliments on my body is not uncommon. I love working out. My face on the other hand is the lacking piece to my theoretical equation. I have grown to be accustomed to my facial flaw . I simply gave up and accepted my face as my proverbial cross that I have to bear. Until visiting Terry i had tried EVERYTHING. Thousands of dollars have been spent in a futile attempt to rid my face of this plague. I looked like a leopard. My mother was the one who forced this appointment and scheduled it with Terry. I was pretty much in the dark about it. I had convinced myself that there is NOTHING that could be done to remedy my situation. Upon entering the clinic I possessed an attitude of indifference. I did not care. I was just ready to consult and go home. I did not think that Terry would begin the procedure to eliminate my skin problem. Terry's thorough explanation of her process and deep knowledge about what to expect and what NOT to expect was amazing! I was a bit skeptical initially because I did not want ink pumped into my epidermis only to contort colors with the mix of the yellowish spots on my face. Did not have a desire to compound my issues with a new one. Terry, explained the process so well that she dispelled all of my fears. Very genuine woman. I have never met a person who was equally as passionate for your success as you are for your own. You can tell from the way this lady talks that she LOVES helping people! It's as if she shared my pain and wanted my issue resolved more than me. As I said earlier I had grown used to this facial curse. My mother at times wanted to intervene as Terry and I spoke but Terry would tell her to stay out of it (politely) because Terry wanted to hear how i felt. Terry is more than a permanent make-up artist. She is a counselor as well. You can talk to her about anything. After she was done with my face I almost wanted to cry. I couldn't believe my face was slowly being restored. Right now my face is spot free. It's beginning to scan which is normal for now. I will need a second session 6 weeks from now after everything settles in. Terry did not want to go heavy on the initial session. She's very meticulous with her craft. How my face responds to the initial session will dictate to Terry how she will go about the second treatment. It took a lot of time to empty myself on a review that is viral. WOW! The service I received from Terry was world class! I will share my experience in this review and I hope it helps another newbie like myself. Since I've never gotten my eyebrows micro bladed and I also wanted to ease my nerves so I went for a consult on 12/3. Upon my arrival I was greeted warmly by Terry. As she walked me to the consult room I took note of how clean, fresh, and beautifully decorated her office was. That's definitely a must for me! We began to work on the shape I wanted. I showed her a picture I found online. All though it varies a bit from face to face is still a good guide.She is definitely a perfectionist, and I wouldn't have it any other way!! She worked diligently on creating the look I desired.After we got the perfect shape for my face, we took pictures so I could look over them the next 2 days and decide if I wanted any changes to the shape. I returned 12/5 to get the procedure done, and again I was warmly greeted by Terry!(she's awesome like that ) she immediately applied the numbing gel and sat me in a comfy massage chair to fill out the consent forms. What a great way to start! So I'm numb now... now it's time to draw out the shape. After that She got to the business. I was impressed with her numbing gel. I could hear the hairlike strokes being etched into my skin, but I couldn't feel it. After the gel started to wear off she applied another layer of numbing gel. I really appreciated this because I can tolerate discomfort but if I don't have to, Great! After the procedure, she handed me the mirror and my face lit up! Wow, Wow, Wow! I searched around from time to time for reviews on providers of permanent eyeliner, a procedure I have been considering for a few years. Didn't find anything definitive until finding Houston Wellness Boutique's site. The videos posted made me feel confident and I made an appointment to have lower eyeliner. Terry is awesome! She thoroughly explained the procedure, was very thorough with applying anaesthetic, and did a beautiful job! So nice to look in the mirror and see definition around my eyes (my lashes have turned white in recent years). It really makes me feel better every day. Terry is absolutely amazing! Prior to getting my permanent brows, I was so scared. Trusting someone with your face is a very big deal, but Terry put my mind at ease and did an incredible job.
