If you're a Rockets fan and you rate anything lower than a five, I will call you a bandwagon fan! YES, I'm looking at you bandwagon fans!!! If you're a true fan, you would stick with your team through the good and the bad. It's true that since the two championships, the Rockets haven't been to competitive. But owner Leslie Alexander has been doing pretty much everything in his power to bring the glory days back to Houston. Head chef Beard is always cooking in the house. Superman is still flying. Maybe not as high, but still flying. Threeza is hot and cold on offense. But always hot on defense. Cheetah Brewer is always a spark off the bench. JSmoove needs to practice his free throws. Come on, bro! DMo and Beverley - hurry back!! The Rockets could do without D - Dorsey, that is. The Jet is still frustrating opponents with them threes. #rednation #pursuit #underdogs

I have been a season ticket holder about 3 years. Each year I elevate my seats. While I'm not a Rockets fan (Lakers all day) I enjoy the sport and I really enjoy the fan experience. Rocket fans are die hard and have fun. I meet people every year and I have a great time. Considering a fourth year maybe court-side . Even when the game sucks the experience holds you over.

First time at Toyota center and first Houston Rockets game! We were balling at a vendor's suite! Great view, free cocktails, free food, you can't top that! We also had #3 parking , so we parked up by the sky bridge. First time at this Arena and man, it is nice compared with Staples center, massive screens and great speaker system! The Rockets were trainling the Spurs by 14 points Q1, but made a great comeback by Q3, and eventually defeating the Spurs 97 to 90!

Came to the game to hang out with some friends and had a blast. The club seats are always the best. No crowd and the restrooms are always clean. Also at half time the Lexus Lounge offers an exclusive touch and you don't have to fight the crowds. It's definitely worth the money to watch the game in this fashion.

Let's go Rockets, let's go! Houston strong. I may not be born here, but I definitely rep for my city. Great games always!

The Houston Rockets are a good entertainment option for sports fans, mild fans, and families. The Toyota Center is a great venue in terms of all seats having good views and being very comfortable (padded even in the upper decks). Before the game there is plenty to do, either watch the teams warm up or check out the kids games zone on the upper deck (east side of the arena I think). The Rockets themselves are one of the better teams so the game action is always what you're there for. During the timeouts, there is always entertainment by Clutch the mascot as well as the Rockets Power dancers. Even halftime goes by fast with half court shots by Clutch and more Power Dancers and/or another act. There's also a band of "Red Rowdies" that sit in the east stands that are leading cheers and getting the crowd, well, rowdy (in a very family friendly way, they are sponsored by the team with tryouts). Parking can be tough since the Toyota Center is tucked between other popular attractions like Discovery Green, the George R. Brown convention center, and even the Pavilions area. You might pay $10 and still have a few blocks to walk. If you're willing to walk 6 or more blocks you can find free parking. The area is very safe even at night with a strong police presence and lots of other fans walking around. As usual, concessions are steep, assume $10 per beer or $6 - $9 for hot dogs, burgers, etc. I wish all venues would lower these prices, but people like me seem willing to pay them, so why would they? If you haven't checked out a Rockets game but are thinking about it, give them a try and bring your family. The prices are such you can't do it every game, but a couple of times a year would make for a good family outing or even guys night out. Unlike baseball, the games end before 10p so everyone can get to bed at a reasonable time!

As a Celtics fan I can proudly say I'll support the Rockets in anyway possible (except when they play the C's). Hey I don't like the Lakers either. When I heard about the MLK day deal, I had to go. For $20 I got a ticket in the upperlevel, which despite cramped seating the view wasn't too bad, a free hotdog and beer. Not too shabby and what made it even better was this free beer wasn't some small cup but a 16oz Miller Lite plastic bottle. I was shocked and happy at the same time. The Rockets have a good team and on this day they took on the Milwaukee Bucks, a team that isn't having a great year. Although this is a game I thought the Rockets should win easily, it actually was close and they had to beat the Bucks in OT to win it (thankfully Ridnour missed a wide open three that would of sent it to double OT). Outside of the actually basketball there were some other interesting moments they had between quarters. First was a baby race. Yes you read that right, baby race. What does this baby race entail? Well one parent at one side of the track while another at the finish. Place the baby on the starting line and when the buzzer sounds, the first baby to cross the line wins. Yup. I watched four babies crawl on a mat. People around me screamed for red, blue, orange, and yellow. I couldn't help but get into it as well; as if I was at the race track with 100 bucks riding on red (yellow was the winner that day). Aside from baby racing they have the usual dancers known as the Power Dancers. Although I find it funny that during they game they have them set up in two different corners that you aren't looking for them you probably won't even notice. The last thing I will add was on this day I was treated to a halftime performance by former American Idol winner Fantasia. Yeah...I guess she has a new VH1 show coming out soon. I wasn't a fan. Final point. If you aren't big into basketball but still want to check out a game you can probably get some cheap tickets and do so. I recommend it. If you would like to see some of the action I caught on film that day, watch my video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zTAJEaj7teI

The stadium is probably one of the best in America. The team is getting better. I can't wait to see the Rockets win something again. I'm new in town, but I have to confess that I've been always a fan of the Rockets since Olajuwon. The stadium is super efficient. Good parking close to it. Close to different freeways. The food inside is absolutely great and it's not that expensive compare to other stadiums like staples center. Houston is growing and their sports arenas are growing as well to another level

A man ask me: "Do you want to change seat to the 1st floor?" Don't go! Seats on 409/410 is far better than the back of 1st floor
    Irene L.

We are big fans of Jeremy Lin. We went to Houston Rockets many times on 2012 to 2014. My favorite seat section is #409. It is something I can afford. Actually, watching games in the Rockets field is not an enjoyable thing. The seat are small and to close to the other one. No place to put my drink. The floor is always sticky. I don't like Toyota Center. It can be better.

I am on the fence to love or hate the new jersey. It brings me back to clutch city. driving up and down westhimer and richmond waving a broom through the sunroof of my pops 88 supra...chicks flashing a teenager before the ggw existed...it brings us back to a magical time of winning. not that the rockets cant win, but everyone has a question mark on our superstars we have been blessed with the talent that has graced the houston hardwood. now, we have a team of random roll players. it will be exciting to see what they have to offer for this years campaign to the post season greeting to the newbies on the roster: taylor, budinger andersen, and ariza! let the debate begin regarding the cut, color and style of the new threads.

Ask the Community - Houston Rockets

I am not trying to be rude, but how are the Rockets fans towards opposing teams fans? The only reason I'm asking is because I have had bad run in's during NFL games that were not pleasant and am taking my daughter to a game soon.

For sanctioned fight nights they will put on several a year and tickets can be purchased from the gym or several other locations around town. They are always entertaining and will usually include 10 to 12 fights in all of the various weight classes. For the charity events you just have to watch more closely. Some of these events are private but Lou and his staff are never ones to not tell you what's going on if the public is allowed to buy a seat or a table at the event. Also, Lou is great for having him speak to kids. He has a knack for it and the kids really light up when they hear his story. Stop by and say hi sometime, you might just end up staying half the day

Turns out, he puts on one hell of a fun fight night too. too. My son and I were looking for a local boxing promotion and I found "Rumble on the Bayou 7" in September. It was held at the beautiful Bayou City Events Center near Reliant Stadium. I bought tickets online that were left for us at will call. The matches were held in a big ballroom with great lighting, spacing and seating. Audio/Video was first class as were all of the people from the promotions that I interacted with. Drinks were served by Hooters of Humble girls and there were additional concessions in the lobby. Bathroom access was also in lobby and was spacious and clean. From the ring announcer to the "card" girls, the event was created to be safe, fun and even somewhat interactive. The fights themselves were good entertainment and well paced between matches. Ticket prices range from $35-150 but every table or seat has a great view. I cannot wait to come back for the next event. Thanks for a great night with my son. Well done Savarese Promotions!

Couldn't believe that I actually got to do it and Astros won the match that day, and THAT made all the difference. The erstwhile Minute Maid park was brought over by Daikin and Astros get to rule here. Watching on TV gives all the close ups, but the Texan pride songs, the motivation trumpets, the train horn when one hits a home run, that's just such a blast and have to be in person to experience it. ! It is an all natural grass field. Wonder how they maintain it. I thought it was a carpet until I was rectified. It is just soo neat and beautiful. While it is majorly a baseball stadium, during off seasons it is also used for soccer, rugby, or even concerts. The hallway is filled with pictures of legends and Baseball heroes. The floor shines like a new penny and everyone is soo very friendly and in the spirit of the game. Parking was a breeze since it was VIP entrance. But, there is a huge huge parking fitting all pockets, with some walking involved. There is a also a metro station about 15-20 min walk, for those who want to be spared the trouble of parking. Got entrance with the Gallagher club which was right next to the train (the train while hoots and moves at every home run) As soon as the wards outside check ur tickets and let you in, you walk right into a restaurant cum bar kind of a place. Except that all food, and most beverages are free, or, added onto the price of the ticket... The food bar was huge and a lot of them did not speak english, but that did not matter because those who could went out of their way to help me get only vegetarian. I stuck to salads and then loaded myself on desserts- oh the desserts ! I mean their bite size cakes, the mango pudding, cookies....and ice cream....it was just a party ! The game itself It was the first of the three matches of the Astros team. They played against Rookies. The friends' I went with explained the scoring and the rules and stuff, and pretty soon I was oohing and awwing and screaming while rooting for the home team. It was soo much fun !!! Not my first time in a stadium, but definitely my first time watching Astros, or even baseball for that matter in live action. Astros won and the stadium ruptured with screams. Ahhh...THAT ...that is what makes a live action sport all worth it. (U can book driverless cab WAYMO near the stadium The cherry on the top was I also saw my first electric driverless cab. It has a bigger board and runs in the downtown area of Houston for now. As I watched the passengers get into the car, my heart was beating fast with anxiety. THough I am aware that it is where the future is heading, a car with no driver- still gives me the chills ! .....Lol ) A great night overall. Perfect blast of a getaway with friends.

The climate control alone is a huge win, and the retractable roof adds flexibility depending on the weather. The views from just about anywhere in the park are great, and the overall atmosphere is exciting whether you're a die-hard fan or just there for the experience. One of the coolest features is the iconic train in left field--it's a fun touch that gives the stadium its own personality. Amenities are solid across the board. There's a massive jumbotron, plenty of food options (the brisket nachos are a must-try), and the facilities are well-maintained and clean. Parking can be a bit tricky and pricey right near the stadium, so it's worth parking a few blocks away to save some money and enjoy a short walk in. The only downside is the cost of food and drinks - they're definitely on the expensive side and concession lines can get long during peak times. Overall: A fantastic ballpark with great comfort and unique features. Just plan ahead for parking and be ready to spend a little extra on snacks!
