I'm a new patient & I LOVE Dr. Wilson & Staff!! Yes, like everyone says come ready to wait. I don't mind because Dr. Wilson takes her time to answer all you questions, No Rush.. She's also very gentle while doing procedures. I used to have to wait months to see my previous OBGYN, at Dr. Wilson's I was able to come in 2 days after I found out about her. Excellent Physician. Very caring and understanding. She will spend as much time as needed for each patient. I once received disappointing news from test results and she allowed me to cry on her shoulders for over 15 minutes...no lie. 15 minutes I cried on her shoulders....soaking her lab coat. I can laugh now about it because it wasn't the "end of the world" for me but at the time it felt that way. I share that story with everyone now. She's the best and will make you smile. read more

I been seeing her for about 28 years she delivery 3 my grandkids. I continue to see her for my yearly women examination. I do recommend my friends to see her too. She very understand when she explained your health issue. I would continue too see her until the Good lord takes me home. Love her great doctor to go to. read more

Dr Wilson is the BEST doctor in America. She takes her time with you, and explains herself. She asks questions. She has genuine concerns and reflects what a real Dr should look like! This is a really frustrating review to write. I REALLY liked Dr. Wilson, but it took so long for me to be seen. I was told to show up 20 minutes early because I was a new patient (normal, not an issue) and when I got there, the door was locked. I got a first appointment, but if I'm there at the time they requested me to be there, the door should at least be unlocked. I filled out some paperwork, gave it to the receptionist, and then waited. My appointment was scheduled for 8:30, I wasn't pulled into the room until 9:10. I didn't see Dr. Wilson until 9:25. If you're in a time crunch, this is not the office to see. A first appointment wasn't seen until 40 minutes after the appointment time, which is a definite problem. Unfortunately, I'll probably continue to see Dr. Wilson because I really liked her, but I'm going to try to continue getting first appointments because I can't imagine how awful it gets later in the day. read more

I absolutely love and appreciate Dr. WIlson! She has been there through some serious health challenges, reassuring and always supportive. She has done several office procedures as well as at the hospital...even my family adores her and says she IS one of the nicest people they have ever met! She is soft spoken, kind and very patient. I have been her patient for over 15 years, a few years ago I changed insurance plans and thought I was not going to be able to see her. I was seriously sad and even a little anxious at the thought, we have such a good relationship. All is well and here we are! I had to take a moment to write this since I don't see many recent reviews. I have never waited more than 5 minutes past my appointment time and maybe 20 minutes in the room since she moved offices. I don't mind waiting that amount of time, Dr. Wilson has never rushed me when I needed to talk to her. I realize some visits may take longer than others, so I'll wait. Yes, it is a small office, but it does not create any issues for me. There's never been a time when I was there and the waiting room was full. When she was sharing an office with another doctor, different location and doing OB there would be long waits...things have changed. And yes, when she retires, she'll have to open a garage clinic for those of us that follow her to her house!! :-) read more

Dr. Wilson is absolutely amazing! The wait was not bad at all. My opinion. I have waited much longer at other doctors offices. Dr. Wilson Takes. Her. Time. with you in the room. She is so calm and it's so soothing in a way. She answered all my questions and made me feel so much more at ease. She walks you through every step of what she is doing and her outlook on the world is so very enlightening. You cannot find a doctor with this bedside manner in this day and time. Her nurse, Jordan, is so incredibly sweet and empathetic. She will also sit with you as long as you need to answer questions. She was so great explaining things to me. She will use her own experiences when talking to you. It made me feel like she actually related to me and understood what I needed! She even did all of this while entertaining my one year old son like it was no sweat off her back. Amazing. They are truly a one of a kind combination. They are just as helpful over the phone as in person. The lady who takes your blood (I cannot recall her name and I'm so mad at myself) she is incredible!!!!! I was absolutely shocked at how good she was. She is a blood taking angel. When leaving, Ashley does a great job of reiterating everything that was discussed at the appointment. Dr. Kelly Wilson has been my doctor for the past 23 years and is simply the best doctor I have ever had. I continued to see her even during a period she was not on my insurance plan because she was worth paying extra for. Thorough, interested and knowledgeable plus a wonderful demeanor. Like other reviewers, I really like Dr. Wilson and it's tough having to give an overall lower rating. She's very nice, gentle, and I value her judgement. However, the wait time is ridiculous! I've always had to wait a minimum of 30-45 minutes until she comes in to see me. This last visit was particularly terrible. It took an HOUR AND 40 MINUTES from the time I arrived to until I was seen by her. I have never waited that long for an appointment anywhere, and truly, that's unacceptable. If you have the time to give, she's still a solid doctor to see. I haven't decided yet if I want to find another practitioner, but am seriously considering it after this last experience. read more

Dr. Wilson is definitely worth the wait. She has been my doctor for 20 years and delivered both of my children. She takes her time with every patient and is concerned with each woman's overall health. She understands that she might be the only doctor a woman visits all year long so she is very thorough. I have sent many of my friends to her with health concerns and everyone has loved her for taking her time with them. My teen daughters have also been seen by her for their health concerns and they also are very comfortable talking to her and she has given them awesome advice. She is the best. read more

Dr. Kelly Wilson is phenomenal. I started going to her when I was 33 years old. I turn 53 in a couple of weeks. When I moved to Houston, her practice was in the Willowbrook area. I live in Spring off of 249 in the Champions area, and when she moved her practice to the Houston Medical Center, I followed her. I do not mind the drive because I know I receive the best quality care possible at her office. You do not often find a Dr. that is so compassionate, kind, gentle, and thorough. She listens when I have problems and saved my life by hearing what I told her in 2006. The ER sent me home without listening to me when I was in severe pain, and I hemorrhaged. Instead of going back to the ER when the pain kept increasing, I called Dr. Wilson, who had given me her personal number, and I was immediately sent for an Ultra-Sound and admitted to Texas Women's. As long as she is practicing medicine, she is my Dr. She listens, ladies! She answers all questions and most of all, she cares about her patients. read more

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because Dr. Wilson is a nice lady. If it weren't for her, I would give his place 0 stars. Her receptionist is an idiot that has no idea what she is doing. The lady that called to gather my insurance information was not prepared, and so slow, I had to waste 30 minutes of my work day talking to her. JUST FOR INSURANCE INFORMATION! They are so inconsiderate of others' time. This is so frustrating that I won't even go into great detail about how rude the nursing staff is. Their bedside manner is terrible, and they don't know what they're doing. They are basically glorified receptionists that sit in the room while the doctor is there. right now, I've been sitting in this office for 45 minutes, and have not received any information about when I will actually be able to see the doctor (to discuss 1 medication, that the nurse could tell me NOTHING about). This is the most unprofessional, idiotic staff I have ever dealt with... And it's a shame, because the doctor is actually a good one. Unless you have tons of time on your hand, don't ever come here. read more

This is sad, I'm currently in the waiting room, had an appt at noon and still waiting. That's over an hour wait, and I haven't even been given another room to probably wait more. I've been here a couple times to see Dr. Wilson and had good experiences with her but this is ridiculous, I used my lunch hour and it's turned into two maybe three hours away from my job. Unacceptable. I hope the numerous reviews relating to this very issue gets noticed because it's bound to hurt business. read more
