Very attentive and follow up with labs and vitamins to take. I feel 100% better! Also, staff is so informative and helpful.

So, I will start my review by saying that I feel Dr. Nguyen is pretty good at what she does. She…read morehas a straight to business personality, so if you need a doctor that's going to be nice and sweet look elsewhere. If you only care about getting your issues resolved without the extra stuff she is the one for you. I actually liked her and was going to keep her as my gyn until... After I had seen her several times and they had told me they took my insurance. I got a surprise bill from them. It wasnt too high, so I paid it and didnt ask why, I just thought it was part of my deductible or something. I made an appt some time later and when I got there, after waiting about 30 minutes the lady at the front desk called me over to tell me I had a balance. I told her that it is not possible because I had not been to the DR for several months and I paid the bill they sent me in July. She was all confused and asked me to sit. Fifteen minutes later she calls me again and explains that the problem is that Dr. Nguyen does not take my insurance, the doctor that runs the practice does. I told her I had checked with them several months before and was told she did. Then she went to ask Dr.Nguyen to see what she thought and it seems that she told her that I would have to pay as an uninsured person?? I told her NO. I have insurance and will not pay out of pocket to see her. I was not seen that day and the lady said she would call me back to let me know what they could resolve. She never called me. I called back a week later and was transferred to someone named Stephanie (who supposedly deals with insurance), left her a message and she still hasnt called me back. I am through with this office. I will just find a different gynecologist. I'm still a little pissed that they gave me wrong information but never took responsibility it. Now I'm the one that has to pay (literally) for their mistakes. Gave her two stars because although service sucked Dr. Nguyen's nurse is really sweet and kind of makes up for the Dr's lack of empathy. I really have experienced better.

Thanks to Yelp, I found Dr. Nguyen and she is a great doctor, and very personable. Went in for my annual exam and I appreciated the fact that she came in the exam room and talk to me before my exam. It was nice to chat with her for a minute about medical history, etc. I only waited about 10 minutes before the nurse called me back, which I really don't consider "waiting" since I was completing paperwork. Office staff was friendly and her nurse was great too! I'm definitely relieved to have found a new doctor in my new city.

I'd also been experiencing a significant change in my cycle, to which no explanation could be found. I found Dr. Roberson and things have completely changed. I do not know her personally nor am not paid to advertise. At first I blinked at the price, but after my visit.. I knew why. She was THOROUGH. She combed through my past labs, ran new ones and found out what was wrong with me. Ever since I've implemented the changes she recommended, i feel like a new person & I am ever grateful. I bless the day I found her.

They only have one ultrasound tech Who calls out sick/takes vacations apparently pretty often. They canceled one of my appointments day of and I had to come in a separate day, but then they had messed up my appointment and they could only do the ultrasound and not the reading- I didn't know this until once I finished the ultrasound. Then they proceeded to wait five days to tell me that there was a problem with my ultrasound and they were concerned. When that appointment was supposed to be directly after the ultrasound Nancy, the liaison called to tell me some pretty jarring news over the phone and had me go in for another ultrasound in which she gave them my incorrect due date which was a pivotal piece of information that they needed in figuring out if something was wrong with the baby or not. In coordinating with her after this pretty traumatic event, she proceeded to text me by the wrong name. I understand that she's trying to be nice, but her overall tone makes it feel like she doesn't really care. When I'm asking questions or trying to get real help she just says things like "big hugs!!" They constantly told me that they didn't have ultrasounds for me, even though I had done ultrasounds directly with them. They also Would tell me that they had no record of me at all, and then when I pressed them to keep looking, they would magically find it. They use a call center and it's quite difficult to get in contact with someone at the actual office if you need help. Overall, just a really scary and incompetent experience that I would never want anyone else to have. Thankfully, the team recommended another OB/GYN, who is able to get me in at 36 weeks pregnant

I really do not frequent Meyerland much so to see they not only had an HEB but a cliniic within the shopping area shows I'm a creature of habit and miss things like this being built. I really throught I knew where I was foing when I previewed the map before driving but a gps detour had me go through the med center and by the HEB I had never seen before, so I got mixed up quickly, but the clinic had been a snake, it would have bit me because its right off the corner of Beechnut and 610 Feeder. Parking was ample for a weekday morning but finding where to exactly go was not very helpful. As I entered in, no one was at the front desk. There were signs that the escalator waa broken and to use the elevator but where is that? I mean I was in a new place and I am directionally challenged yall- I needed a person to see and point me where I needed to go. Wasnt until I wandered around awhile and finally saw someone standing by the elevators that I noticed them. Once on floownd floor, I saw the place was packed and full-nothing the parking lot reflected. There was signage at the image department that said ro check in, but where??? I didn't want ro waste anymore time so I just asked someone sitting in that area about where to sign in. She politely pointed to around the corner. I thanked her and proceeded to sign in and verify my information. I had a form to complete before beeing seen so I rushed to complete it before bebeing called backeaI arrived a little before my time but was called back pretty quickly, which was great because I had to drive to another Kelsey Seybold location to complete part 2 of my examination. It was a traumatic experience for my daughter, and they couldn't get her regular doctor on the phone after more than 4 attempts. If you anticipate having a low-risk pregnancy and you would like a natural birth in a hospital…read moresetting, the midwives at WSH are the best! The only other midwife delivering in a hospital in the Houston area is one that works with Dr. de Ayala at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital. The 6 midwives work together in a group to care for their patients -- because they're the only hospital midwife group in Houston, they do fill up fast so you should call and register with them as a patient AS SOON AS POSSIBLE once you find out you're pregnant. I believe they take only 40 pregnant patients per month. I was very pleased with their care overall as I delivered my second baby. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 stars is just because of the few items in the "cons" list below. PROS: * The midwives treat pregnancy like a normal, natural event -- rather than a minefield loaded with risks and obstacles. They are low-intervention and this should decrease your risk of a C-section. But you can still get an epidural if you want. * They don't order a bunch of extra or unnecessary tests * They already automatically do all the things I wanted in my natural birth plan (such as: you can eat and drink during labor; intermittent fetal monitoring; birthing ball is provided; option to use hydrotherapy during labor -- there's a tub and shower in the L&D rooms; compresses and counterpressure and lubricant to decrease the risk of tearing when you push; pushing allowed in different positions; delayed cord clamping; they try not to break your water artificially unless indicated for some reason & they'll discuss it with you first to get your permission; post-delivery Pitocin is given on a case-by-case basis) CONS: * Parking can be a headache (Parking in the underground garage will cost you $8-10 per visit. Sometimes the garage gets completely full & you may circle for a while before you find a spot, or you may have to park off-site. You can buy a discounted parking pass to get up to 15% off. You could also park in the surface lot across Main St from the hospital & it's cheaper, but it fills up quickly on weekday mornings and the parking spots are tiny.) * On average, I spent about 1 hour total at each visit -- they often run behind, so it's not a quick in-and-out visit. But part of this is because the midwives take the time to talk to you and address your concerns. * There are 6 midwives, so you'll get someone different at most appointments -- then when you go into labor, you'll get whoever's on call but depending who it is, you may not have seen them in months - so they could be a little unfamiliar to you. * If you need an emergency C-section, it'll likely be done by a 3rd year resident (but these are the most experienced residents who are almost done with their program and almost ready to practice independently).
