I found this place through a friend of mine that lives in Houston. I was able to book and pay online so that was pretty awesome. I ended up passing the place up but it was really ewasy to just go around the block and come back. I was greeted by Joel when I came inside the building and he showed me to the massage room where i filled out some simple paperwork. He offered a beverage which i declined but was still nice to be offered. Interesting take on the consult. He asked me several questions related to my main concern and explained to me how we were going to work on it to be able to achieve what i came in there for. Very thorough and well mannered. It was great! I added in the hot stones to my massage, that just sounded awesome. I felt so good afterwards and I noticed an immediate difference in the level of soreness on my shoulders and Low back. I ended up taking him up on the water offer and we talked for a bit after the massage where he explained again why we worked on these areas and what our next steps were to help get to the root of my problem. I didn't even really think about it like that. I mostly thought that massage was just a way to relax and unwind but was pleasantly surprised to discover how much more it can benefit me in the long run with a consistent plan. Hopefully they have just as great a therapist where i live. I ended up getting a couple gift certificates because people need to know about this guy! read more

I was having some issues with maintaining some anxiety and after my first session with Joel yesterday, I felt incredibly relaxed and refreshed for the first time in many weeks. Sometimes we don't realize we need the extra self care until we make the jump to treat ourselves. Joel is a massage therapist that worked with my needs, my worries, and all my anxieties. He spoke with me about the areas of my body that were suffering most. Our session felt 100% customized to be exactly what I needed. The warming table and fluffy face rest is totally a plus. I was so impressed with our visit, I wanted to give him ten thumbs up and share what he does. He is kind and compassionate and truly loves helping to heal through wellness. It's remarkable and is so refreshing to have a massage therapist genuinely interested in my well being. Thanks Joel Quezada! I look forward to seeing you again....and again...and again, lol If you know someone looking to start a new protocol for wellness, the search is over. Tag them here! read more

As a mom of 3 I hardly have any time for myself. My friend got me a gift certificate for this massage place in the heights and I was pleasantly surprised. I couldn't even tell I was in a gym once we entered the massage room with the ambient music in the background. Booking was great I was able to do it from my phone. Once I filled out the paperwork, which was simple we discussed what I wanted from our session, it was wild! Quite refreshing to actually have a session where I felt like the massage therapist cared about what I wanted to have worked on. Anyway we did an hour Swedish with a Facial massage and footscrub. Facial was great, I have sensitive skin, and it was awesome! Everything smelled so nice! And my feet felt amazing afterwards! I still have a little left on my gift card but I will most definitely be back to try out the rest of what he offers. As soon as I get some time again, lol! read more

Since I've been coming to Joel for the past couple months I have noticed a major difference in my shoulder and arms. I like that the consultation doesn't bleed into the treatment time and he takes the time to listen to what I am feeling and adjusts our sessions based on that. I've never had a massage experience like this. I really feel like for the first time since I've gotten massages that it is actually helping the root of my issue. Which is another thing I learned talking with Joel. Very knowledgable, and was able to explain it in terms I was able to understand. If massage has failed you before give this guy a try, his approach is quite different than anything I've experienced before. Top notch service and excellent massage therapist. Im looking forward to our next session needless to say. read more

I came to Joel specifically for pain relief from a chronic condition that effects my joints and connective tissues, and in turn, musculoskeletal system. He really listened to my issues and came up with a plan that he felt would give me the most relief. Sessions with him have become an integral part of the things I do to stay well and functioning! He is attentive, professional, and knowledgeable. Each session we focus on whatever is bothering me most, and he gives really valuable feedback to me regarding what he senses is going on in my body as he's working. I highly recommend him to anyone suffering from chronic pain. I think he could really be a lifesaver! read more

This was my first professional massage and it was an experience of a lifetime. Joel was very professional and accommodating to my needs. The room was clean and smelled really good, warm bed, clean covers, offered refreshments and was very knowledgeable about my body. I am a professional athlete myself so he really worked my problem areas. I recommend Him to everyone, the central location in the Heights was great as well. I received a facial which was amazing, gave me a choice of scrubs/mask to choose from and it included a four-step process that left my face clear of road bumps lol. Highly Recommended! read more

I went to see Joel during my recovery phase following a distal bicep tendon rupture repair surgery. At the time, my body was in extreme pain and I was in a highly stressful mental state. Joel is extremely professional, methodical and thorough. We tried several therapeutic techniques before eventually landing on one that my body responded well to. We focused on IT band, hips, hamstrings and lower back; occasionally incorporating cupping technique. Joel also uses aromatherapy during his sessions which I found effective in helping me to relax. I highly recommend Joel as a massage therapist. read more

Joel is great! I started to go to him after my doctor suggested I see a massage therapist to relieve the tension from my neck and shoulders. We tried several techniques till we found what worked for me. I love the hot stone message, but especially love the facial and hand massage with aromatherpy. His facial and head massages relax me so much that I almost fall asleep. The only thing I hate is when it's over. I've been going to him for several months now and will not try anyone else. read more

Joel was very polite and professional, as well as super knowledgeable in what he does. I really l loved that he took the time to listen to my pain and explain what and why for his plans. I struggle with chronic pain and have very rarely had luck with relief... so when I say that when I left, I felt a bit better and hopeful for future progress, that's saying a lot!! 10/10! read more
