I've never purchased furniture online long distance, but I called and spoke to Eduardo who was incredible to deal with! He was so detailed and informative along the purchase, sending me detailed photographs and even arranged the pick up with U-Ship. My bed arrived yesterday with the high boy and I can't wait to set up my new bedroom! Highly recommended and if you can, talk to Eduardo.

Both times I was here, the person working was extremely friendly and welcoming. The selection at Nadeau features really nice and unique furniture and home accent pieces, things that you won't find anywhere else. If you're looking for a nice conversation piece to liven up any room in your house, go to Nadeau. The other day the store had a collection of beautiful Chamcha wood pieces from Thailand I believe (I could be wrong but I know that they are imported), ranging from dining room tables, chairs, end tables, and even mirrors. I bought one of the mirrors and I love it! I love the entire collection and wish I had room in my home to take every piece. The best part about Nadeau is that the inventory is fairly priced. At similar stores like Crate and Barrel, West Elm, etc., the prices are often inflated, yet the prices at Nadeau, while not exactly cheap, are far less than what you'd pay for similar items that are mass produced at its competitors. You won't feel ripped off at Nadeau, and you'll leave the store with a one-of-a-kind or rare piece as well. Nadeau also has great smaller items that can make for really nice and unique gifts in the $20 range. I really like Nadeau and I see that it's the type of store that you stop by on a rotating basis just to see what new items are in stock because the selection constantly changes.

So I searched and searched and searched some more. As it turns out, the best deal was here in Dallas, at Dallas Dinettes. They couldn't have been friendlier. Don't let the outside of the building discourage you, they carry nothing but quality, name brand pieces and it isn't just dinettes either. They have a small selection of sofas, coffee and end tables, etc. Plus the couple who own the place were very nice and friendly and the man who delivered my table (the next day) was super nice and efficient. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is the $70 delivery fee. It was just a little steep for me, but not enough to discourage me from looking here first next time I'm in the market for some furniture!

Nora knows her stuff! She is knowledgeable about the furniture quality and listens closely to help find that perfect piece or pieces. Time and time again, I have been able to go in the store, describe what I'm envisioning, and I end up with specific photos to select from furniture from. I purchased my dining set (with butterfly leaf table), sofa, and complete master bedroom set and have been pleased with my purchases. And, with all my moves for school, training, etc., my dining set has held up over the years and across states! Nora was not kidding when she said "it's solid." Most recently, I was hit by the tornado and everything is gone, so I called the store. Nora was able to tell me what items she can still order for me, the cost, and even gave me things to watch out for as I try to rebuild. I will keep going back to Dallas Dinettes because of the quality and service...They are amazing!

I called back, "YOUR MASK IS COMPLETELY OFF." Like, she wasn't even doing the nose-uncovered fake--the mask was literally around her neck. She called back, "Oh, haha *giggle*" I saw her at the other end of the store a few minutes later. Her mask was on, but then she removed it to talk to me. I saw her a few minutes later speaking to another customer, and the mask was completely off. I said to myself, "Screw this." As I was leaving the store, another male employee was strutting through the store completely maskless, as well. I now wonder if the maskless lady was the owner, Katherine Snedeker, since this cavalier "who gives a f&*k about the health of my customers and co-workers" attitude seems to be part of the culture of the company. Must be Republicans. No more of this company for me, ever. Are you hearing me, Katherine?

Based on pricing and selection, I'd give them 2 stars ($1,700 sheets, anyone?). The shop is small and the stuff is beautiful, but it's certainly not a shop that just anyone can afford the purchase from. They do have a middle section with fabric swatches and whatnot so I believe they do custom work as well. The third star comes from the fact that the woman who was working was very friendly, not stuffy, and seemed ready to help me should I need anything. All in all, this might be a neat place to pick up some accessories and whatnot if you have money to blow.

I did not get the opportunity to meet the owner, Jessica, but if Sharon and Mike are any reflection of the owner's attitude, you are in great hands. I purchased a Nest candle (some of my favorite candles) for a birthday party I was attending later that evening. It was not by any means an expensive item, but I was still treated like a VIP. I immediately felt at ease, and was able to enjoy the beautiful showroom. I wanted to take everything in there home with me, but alas, my trust fund is non-existent. Don't get me wrong, you can find plenty of great gifts and items for your home that won't break the bank, but also the finest of linens and home decor items should your budget allow. I will definitely be returning for gifts, and to treat myself to a special something for the home.
