The odds that this review will be valuable to anyone are low BUT this crispy duck salad, y'all. Oh my God. This is another chapter in my ongoing saga of going places that I don't think I'll like, then definitely loving them and turning fangirl. Super fun spot on the river, very comfy little nooks to plop yourself (with banquettes to accommodate more and more people showing up to join), and -- knock me over -- Buffalo Trace on order. Yes. I live in NC and cannot find this anywhere local, but show up in Limerick and there it is. I love it.

Came here for dinner on vacation with family. We sat in the front area by the windows. Sun really shines in your face at certain times and depends where you sit so be aware! Haha The service was very slow but the food was good. The design was really cool.

We had high expectations going into our dinner at House Limerick, what we got exceeded our expectations by far. We even went back a second time. The service was excellent, we felt like we were always taken care of, the food was fantastic and the cocktails were outstanding. The restaurant is by far one of my favorite interiors that I've seen in my travels. If you're in Limerick, definitely put this on your list.

Super cute bathroom and powder room!!

Stopped in for drinks and food. Amazing shareable food plates and great selection of beers, whiskey, wines, etc! We had the bread board and sliders! So good!

I'm most definitely going to come back here to improve on this rating, but for now, I'll settle on a cool 3 stars. I came for lunch with work friends. We had 12 in our party in the end, and we were split over two tables. This was a leaving lunch for a colleague so it was a bit disappointing that we couldn't all be together. We had been sent the menu in advance to order for lunch which was an efficient way of making sure we all were served in time and got to enjoy our meal. That said, it was strange to think about what we wanted at 11am! But I'm seeing this as a positive, definitely. Managed to then order with my brain and not my stomach! Went for the macroom boccancini salad which was mostly greenery. I'm on the usual January health bend so I was happy with that but if I were going for something again I'd make a switch to something more wholesome. The chicken caesar wrap was our star choice and it looked incredible, and absolutely massive! The venue is new, and the decor is really beautiful and cool. I'm sure there's a nice atmosphere there in the evenings, but will have to come back to see if that's true. Great to see something different opening up in Limerick.

My wife and I had just arrived in Limerick and finishing up dinner when we asked our waitress where she recommended we go for a nightcap. Without hesitation she said "The House" nearby. Along the River Shannon. We decided to take advantage of the brisk evening and take a romantic walk and head to The House. From the road it is not very eye-catching - it has no signage indicating what it is. We walked in and were quickly greeted by Samantha. She sat us at the main bar - thet have three - and introduced us to Séan, our bartender. The place is incredible - a large selection of liquors and liqueurs. The de or is incredible - I describe it as a den or man cave look. Deep, comfortable seating and spacious tables where you can lean on and do your business - whatever it may be. Check out the pics I posted. You can spend the day here and not a fortune. It reminded me of an inexpensive speakeasy. I ordered The Singleton of Dufftown - neat - and my wife had a smoked Old Fashioned. (We had to help talk Sean on smoking the glass as he had never done one before.) Last thing - there is a night club in basement that rocks on weekends - Amber. I highly recommend stopping in, taking in the at sphere and enjoying your favorite cocktail or beer.

The food was amazing! Everything we tried was super fresh and tasty. Great atmosphere on the riverside. I came here with my dad on his 69th birthday and they were so patient with him. When I let it slip that it was a special day they gave us a slice of cake with a gorgeous sparkling candle on it. I wish I lived close by, or could teleport, so I could eat here all the time!

I felt it was a little sacrilegious to go to a House for food or drinks because Clohessys was my home. But after hearing so much good about it I was up for a try - and it was my brothers birthday do I wasn't paying. I was charmed by the decor - the "garden" area, the Powder Room, the bar, the booths area. It reminded me of 37 Dawson St (and I think there's a connection which makes sense). The place has a real personality. We were seated in a booth and I wasn't flipping over the menu but they had some nice choices. I went for the fish special - hake on a bed of vegetables with baby potatoes. Presentation was beautiful and it was delicious. Our server was absolutely lovely but in general service was a little on the slow side, I didn't mind too much. A few tiny hiccups like a mix up with an order meaning a longer wait but as we were chatting we didn't feel it too much. I can imagine this being an issue if I went back alone or for other people that are bothered by this issue. Would I recommend it? Yes. Will I go back? Definitely, but wary of the slow service - and it was busy but not very busy. Would I recommend it? For sure. Another bonus - we moved to have drinks in the garden area and it was Heaven! Drinks service was much faster and the same server looked after us.

The music is quite a nice selection of cover songs which I very much enjoyed and found myself singing along to the tune. The ambience is dark and laid back very relaxing and not overwhelming on the eyes. The food was spectacular was expecting American but got a bit of a twist with the potato skins which was very much agreeable. The sirloin was nicely cooked and the garlic butter gave it a savory taste. Did not need to add salt or pepper. The taste pallet was just right. The waitress was very lovely she was extremely attentive and kind.

Very poor. Woman working there who seemed to be a manger was extremely rude and uninviting. Pints were warm and my friends request for a cider was repeatedly ignored. Nachos were clearly from a Doritos bag and wings came served on their own with no salad or fries. At the end we requested a shisha to go upstairs and were told it was "full" despite there being hardly any customers (no shock why) even though a group of possibly underage girls were allowed to go up. When we told the manger woman we needed to split the bill she got very sarcastic and took forever to divide the bill which resulted in my friend being overcharged. AVOID
