There were 3 beers out of ~10 that were out. I got Blue Moon instead. Hubby got the Hazy IPA. I expected the fish filet to be thicker, but realized this was haddock and not cod. The fish was fresh and the coating was cornmeal-based, not fluffy but nicely crunchy and tasty. We had to ask for napkins and silverware that should have given before the food arrived. Also we were not asked if we wanted condiments, which in our opinion would have helped the pizza taste, it was bland. There was a second server, bartender working, not sure her name but she did nothing to make our experience better. We asked her for napkins and she said I'll have to get her (Kylie) to get them as her hands were wet. All she did was stand in the corner of the bar talking to two other patrons who she obviously knew and for almost the entire time we were there. She took care of their requests and whined about what she was going to eat. Very unprofessional. At one point I had to go inside and ask Kylie to get my wife a second beer because she had been empty for 15 minutes or more, all while the second bartender stood and talked. At that point there were only 4 patrons at the bar, us and the two she was talking to. We have been here many times in the past for lunch and this was our worst experience all around. Please get all of your staff in check to serve if that's what their job consists of. We don't blame Kylie, she did the best she could.

We went to Don Rico's located in the South Tower area on the second (main) floor of the hotel. The servers were great and got drinks rolling to the table quickly. I was pretty hungry so decided to grab a nice Blackened Shrimp Salad (pictured) while the others grabbed and shared some apps. The salad was fantastic and had the right amount of all ingredients! Packed with protein and healthy fats, I was satiated the remainder of the evening. I plan on ordering another one today before we leave on our Florida adventures!

We ate here two Nights in a row, so far, as it is right here and we were eating late. We didn't want to start looking for a place that was open and happy to serve dinner at 9pm or later. Yes, this is a reality in Florida...folks! Anyway, the first night, our group kept growing. We were eventually a party of about 12. As far as i know, all orders and bills were separated by family and correct. Everyone loved what they chose. I often have a problem ordering food that dies not contain peppers, which i cannot eat. When glancing through the menu, i was concerned, since almost all of the dishes were seasoned or marinated with peppers...chipotle, chillies, jalapeños and more. Very often, though i love crab cakes, they are mixed with peppers that are cooked inside and I can't order or enjoy. Our server, a tall gentleman, assured me there were no peppers. He was correct! They were terrific. And to top it off, or should i say, bottom it off, they were served on a bed of Florida bread, which I found out was a cornbread patty. The dish was served with a salad and included guacamole, pico de Gallo and avocado crema. Yummy! Suffice it to say, i ordered the same thing, but one crab cake rather than two. I had trouble finishing it all the first night. The second night we arrived as a party of 5 which soon became 7. They did not bat an eyelash, but immediately moved a table over, making comfortable seating for us all. Wonderful dining in a hotel lobby.
