Food is always excellent. Servers are great. I live right down the road so I do a lot of pick up orders. My business partner and I also enjoy having our monthly meetings there. Recently, I made a mistake and sent the order to the wrong store. Walked in with a little bit of an attitude saying I've been waiting and my food wasn't ready. They researched it and informed me I sent it to the wrong place. I apologized and was ready to drive to the other store. I'm assuming it was the manager that told me they could take care of it right there so I didn't have to drive to the other store. It was 100% my mistake and they took care of it for me even with my attitude. I thanked them and waited for my order which came out very quickly and was perfect, even though it was right at closing time! Anytime there's an issue (which isn't often but if there is an issue,) they take care of it right away. Nothing but good things to say. I went during Bike Week and was seated promptly. My waitress was kind and friendly as well as very helpful with choosing what to order. I had the Hawaiian Chicken sandwich with fries. The food was good and my server was attentive and stopped by several times to check to see if I needed anything. I would definitely recommend this place and come back here in the future. read more

We met up with my wife's sister and her family while we were visiting my mom in Ormand Beach. Having never been to Houligan's, and hearing about their Wally wings, I was intrigued to see how they compared to other places I had been. Overall, they weren't bad. However, I didn't care for the sauces that much. I felt that the wings were a little dry and the sauces didn't have much flavor to them and came off as bland. The munchies basket was fun to share with others between the mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, and onion rings -- even if the items weren't much to talk about. Good if you were hungry. My wife dug the pours of gin and tonic. And the dining areas were quite spacious so you didn't have to wait long for a table. The server was very attentive and did a great job taking care of our party. So the issue weren't the service by any means. The interior is like sports bars you may frequent but clean and spacious. The food was just disappointing especially where the Wally wings have such a reputation in Flagler and Volusia Counties. read more

Stopped here on our way to Jacksonville for work. Cauliflower bites for me with hot sauce and blue cheese. Best I have ever had! Cauliflower was tender and the crust was spicy & crispy!! I had mine with blue cheese and hot sauce. Hubby had meatloaf with potato salad . Servers were all really friendly and everyone asked how we were doing and checked in with us even thought they weren't serving us. Really special right there!! Stopped in at around 12:30 today, ordered the Classic French Dip and a Classic Club Wrap. The food was good, now was it worth the price No. The few French Fries were just okay, nothing special. The 5 little onion rings were very good, but not worth the extra $2.00. (Our bill was over $50+ with tip, and that's a lot for a lunch you didn't truly enjoy). It took over 5-10 minutes (maybe longer) to get a to go container. There was not very many patrons and that takes a toll on patrons and the waitresses that work so hard. This is a great place to enjoy good company with good food. I've been here on several occasions and have always left with a positive experience. The food is solid, there are many drinks to choose from, and the service has always been on point. This time I ordered their "Wally Wings" with Cajun Sweet Chili Sauce. I paired my wings with a New Belgium Fat Tire Amber Ale (5.2% ABV) that was on tap. The wings were steaming hot, and had just the right amount of sweet sauce with a "bite" to them. They were delicious! The Fat Tire was cold and refreshing. The service was provided by a nice employee who checked on us several times to make sure everything was good. Houligans has been a favorite of mine for over 30 years. The Wally Wings are delicious and the seasoned fries, the Turkey Rueben, Wedge salad, fried green beans - I could go on. But- we went last week, wings are now $14.49 for 10, a pitcher of my favorite Blue Moon was $27.50 and fried green beans were off the menu, most unique appetizer they had! I had the Turkey Reuben, and was so disappointed, very little Turkey, forgot the Swiss cheese and the thousand island dressing! So a Turkey and sauerkraut sandwich. The poor waitress was so busy, I felt awful complaining, so I didn't. This used to be our go to restaurant 2 or 3 times a month but can't afford wings and beer now! read more

This place was the only sit-down restaurant near Destination Daytona; so glad it was good! We were going to s concert & wanted to have a real meal first. We were seated immediately; a server appeared shortly afterward & our drinks & food came out pretty fast as well. It is a full sports bar....lots of drink choices & lots of tvs. According to their menu; they're known for their "Wally Wings" but we will have to try those on our next visit. I had the grilled chicken entree with steamed vegetables & a side salad. All the portions were ample & the food was delicious! My husband had a black $ blue burger, he said it was good but nothing spectacular. They did have a bunch of appetizers & sandwiches on their menu that sounded yummy.....but also full of calories. This was our first time here since we were going to an event the next day. Our waitress was amazing, very attentive and our drinks were never empty. It is a sports bar so wings and burgers is their claim to fame. We ordered the munchie basket. It came with 2 large chicken wings, 3 cheese sticks, and about 6-8 large onion rings. It was good. My husband ordered the chicken breast sandwich Hawaiian style which was a teriyaki seasoned with a pineapple circle on top. He liked it and I tried a bite it was juicy and fresh. I ordered the rib and wing plate. The waitress asked me if I wanted them traditional fried or Wally style (their specialty) which is fried with no breading and then grilled and tossed in your choice of sauce which I chose Homey BBQ. I didn't care for the wings, they seemed very dry to me. I wouldn't order them that way again. The ribs were ok, but I'm used to freshly smoked ribs and there is just no comparison soo yeah. We decided to try a dessert and ordered brownie sundae. Chocolate brownie (cut in 2 pieces) with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and cherry on top. I enjoyed the brownie it was warm and had large chocolate chunks in it!! The ice cream was meh, and who doesn't like whipped cream and cherry on top??? Found Houligan's while I was searching for the Sinners & Saints sandwich shop - couldn't find S&S so Houligans it was. This is a decent place to stop while traveling I-95. A decent lunch was had while on the way to Cocoa Beach. Service was good, food was better than edible and I could hear myself think. The place is bigger on the inside than it appears from the outside. Biggest issue- the seat at our booth had zero cushion, just sank right down to a very uncomfortable depth. read more
