    Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich with fries
    Dennis C.

I went during Bike Week and was seated promptly. My waitress was kind and friendly as well as very helpful with choosing what to order. I had the Hawaiian Chicken sandwich with fries. The food was good and my server was attentive and stopped by several times to check to see if I needed anything. I would definitely recommend this place and come back here in the future.

The nicer Hooligans. Definitely nice looking out the outside.

We met up with my wife's sister and her family while we were visiting my mom in Ormand Beach. Having never been to Houligan's, and hearing about their Wally wings, I was intrigued to see how they compared to other places I had been. Overall, they weren't bad. However, I didn't care for the sauces that much. I felt that the wings were a little dry and the sauces didn't have much flavor to them and came off as bland. The munchies basket was fun to share with others between the mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, and onion rings -- even if the items weren't much to talk about. Good if you were hungry. My wife dug the pours of gin and tonic. And the dining areas were quite spacious so you didn't have to wait long for a table. The server was very attentive and did a great job taking care of our party. So the issue weren't the service by any means. The interior is like sports bars you may frequent but clean and spacious. The food was just disappointing especially where the Wally wings have such a reputation in Flagler and Volusia Counties.

Houligan's offers pretty much your typical bar/restaurant type food (or if you prefer the term "pub grub"). It is located in the Destination Daytona Harley-Davidson compound that is just off of Interstate 95. The service was friendly enough and it had a cool enough vibe overall. The food is decent enough and again, is what you would expect from an establishment like this.

Typical corporate restaurant. Average food but good. Great service. Filthy men's room. Both trash cans overflowing. Dirty wet floor.

Food & service is always good! Restaurant is large so if you have to wait it's not long.

I ordered the grilled wings with buffalo sauce and a steak wrap that came with a creamy worchestishire (worsterchire... Worcestershire... there it is. I knew autocorrect would kick in eventually.) sauce on it. I very much liked the grilled wings, I've never been to a place that doesn't just deep fry them and as a diabetic without a gallbladder, I generally don't get to have wings. It was a nice texture and I rather enjoyed them. I did make the mistake of eating them first though, which was great for the wings BUT not great for my wrap because while the sauce on it was delicious, it made my wrap completely soggy. It would be infinitely better on the side, or learn from my mistake and eat the wrap first so you can enjoy the taste AND the texture. The ambiance is pretty cool if you are into sports bars. There are approximately 114 big screen TVs hanging around the place playing all the sports, and one playing trivia, which is more my jam. The bartenders were all super friendly and the locals were all super nice too. Apparently they do half off wings or BOGO wings on Mondays, which everyone recommends coming back for like they do. This was a very pleasant way to spend the evening when I was visiting a new town by my lonesome.

It's got that perfect mix of sports bar energy and casual family dining. The bar side has the buzz, the restaurant side is a little more chill, and both have plenty of TVs if you're here to catch the game. The staff is consistently friendly and quick, even on busy nights, and the food is always solid. Wings, burgers, wraps -- we've tried a little of everything, and it's all good. (Special shoutout to their fries -- crispy, golden perfection.) When it comes to wings, we're partial to ordering them "well Wally wet" -- trust me, that's the move. The guys love the "everything sauce," which is exactly what it sounds like: a mix of all their sauces in one glorious combo. You can even order all flats for a small upcharge, which is a nice touch for fellow wing purists. We just celebrated our son's 20th birthday here, and the GM surprised us by buying dessert for the table. Totally unexpected and so appreciated! It's little touches like that that make a place feel local-loved rather than just local-known. Whether you're watching the game, grabbing dinner after work, just giving your kitchen a night off, or having a celebration, Houligan's Palm Coast is one of those dependable spots that never misses.
