They couldn't figure out why until I went up there one day and asked if maybe I had a second account. Which then they found it ,would it not pop up when I checked in?? Anyways they canceled it and said I would be getting a refund of what was charged. That refund 'was processed' on their end ACCORDING TO THEM December 12th 2025. I have YET to receive my refund and they have now stopped emailing me back. When they were answering (before they stopped) they would just say there's a high volume request and because of holidays but that it would be resubmitted and sent to me within the 3-7 business days. It is now February 2nd and I still have not received my refund. This is unprofessional behavior from their end. I love going there but this is irritating :/

After showing them that I was still getting charged monthly, nothing changed. I brought it up multiple times and NEVER got my refund as promised and still got charged a year later. (They don't have a customer service representative). When you call, they'll always say that a manager is either busy or you'll get a call back, but don't. Even go as far as blaming it on new management. The email address they provide for "customer support" doesn't even work or will never get a response. Report it to the BBB You're better off going to a different gym and cancelling your credit cards and set a fraudulent claim for a full refund.

Despite being the first person to walk in and having two other members behind me in line, she asked me to step back and wait for assistance and proceeded tom assist the other members while i was basically told to "hold on" some 10 minutes later when done with the two members I was finally told that I was in the system but she was not able to understand or explain why I was unable to open the front door, regardless she was vert rude and when asked what the solution is, and or could I workout that day and the issue get sorted asap after - She got attitude and told me that I was unable to continue and I was told to leave. I immediately called my home town club manager and owner and inquired as to what the issue was, they told me there was no issue and they would call the Mesquite location and speak with them, to which 5-7 calls were made and no answer was ever made despite the employee being there just minutes before... All in all, i was not treated to my standards and could not believe the inability and unwillingness of the employee to make a member feel welcome etc. (esp as a visiting member) The whole reason that anytime fitness is attractive to me is that they are open 24/7 and have multiple locations for their members nationwide. But as demonstrated, not all are equal....!!!!! Needless to say, the whole experience was "less then expected and could be improved upon greatly...

Sure some are worn and need adjustments but I often see a repair team here taking care of the machines which is reassuring. The cardio area is also pretty huge w several options. Classes, an open "grass" workout area and basketball court are all part of the gym. The only time I'm ever really frustrated here is how they allow members to blare music from speakers. It's such a distraction and I do wish staff would implement a rule about it or just take time to monitor the gym floor. Otherwise the staff has always been friendly and helpful and I'm still happy to come back and get my workouts in.

When I arrived with my 3-year-old grandson to use the kids club, the supervisor named Silvia immediately told me they would not watch him because she insisted he was not three years old. I calmly explained that he was in fact three years old and even provided his birth certificate as proof. Despite showing her the official birth certificate, Silvia continued to question me repeatedly as if I was lying. Instead of apologizing after seeing the documentation, she continued to argue and treated me in a very dismissive and accusatory manner in front of others. From the moment I walked in, her attitude was hostile and unprofessional. As a paying member, I expect to be treated with respect. Being repeatedly challenged and embarrassed even after providing proof was unacceptable and made me feel singled out and discriminated against. Supervisors are supposed to resolve issues professionally, not escalate them or make members feel uncomfortable. This experience left a very negative impression of this location. Management should seriously address how customers are treated at this facility. No member should have to go through an experience like this simply for bringing their child to the kids club. I hope corporate reviews this situation and ensures better training and accountability for staff moving forward.

They have many different types of equipment to choose from & even different rooms that specialize in different body regions. It can however be crowded during the evenings but I usually go here in the mornings anyways. I also love how it's extremely affordable & have multiple different options to fit anyone's budget. After class, Rachel gave us a tour of the facility and was incredibly welcoming and friendly, just like the rest of the staff. The gym itself is beautiful, modern, and exceptionally clean. I especially loved the white and tan interior design--it creates a bright, upscale atmosphere. The women's locker room is impressive, featuring lockers for personal belongings, a sauna, and a cold plunge. There are also convenient water refill stations throughout the gym. One of the most unique features is the slide, which definitely adds some personality and fun to the space! There's also an outdoor workout area in the corner for anyone who prefers exercising outside. Overall, Recess offers a great combination of high-quality fitness classes, excellent amenities, and a welcoming community. I would definitely recommend checking it out.

I like the treadmills on the mezzanine: great for people watching. I like the little mirrored nook full of workout machines in the corner around from the changing rooms I like the wide variety of yoga classes, and most of all I like the pool, hot tub and sauna room. They have a kids club and offer swimming lessons for children. Showers are mediocre. They have cheap curtains, soap dispensers, full of body wash (no shampoo or conditioner, no towel service) and the showerheads are kind of janky. The parking lot is a bit small and it can be hard to find a spot.

I had some concerns about some past injuries but their ramp up program is such a great introduction to crossfit. The owner is also a chiropractor so you know youre getting quality care. All the coaches are experienced, very professional and always have a great attitude that creates a positive environment. The gym is always clean, the workouts are great and scalable. Very little ego and you will always be encouraged by others to help you on your journey to fitness. Overall a great place for beginner and experienced athletes.
