While this is not my home studio, I'll always come back since it's very close to my home as well! My only suggestion is to give yourself enough time to park, since spots are limited and there are a lot of very popular restaurants in the same shopping plaza.

The complaints for the staff here speak for themselves. Save yourself time and frustration and go…read moreto another location! The staff is clearly untrained and unprofessional. I originally wanted to try out a class at this location today and so I signed up for it last week with no problem. Later that day I get an email from a staff member asking me follow up questions and asking to set up a phone call or else my class would not be confirmed (even though I had already received a confirmation email). I thought this seemed unnecessary since they already ask you to come in 30 min prior to your class to fill out intake forms (which will probably ask the same questions she planned to ask over email/phone). Nevertheless, I answered the email questions and one of them was "why did you choose this location?" I explained that it is a convenient location to stop at on my way home from work. A few days prior to the class I get a text from that same staff member asking if I would like to sign up for a free introductory class, which as I mentioned, I already had! I ignore the text. Yesterday (the day before my class) I get a text to confirm that if I will be attending the class to which I reply, yes. TODAY, on my day off and the day I planned to go to my class which was scheduled at 11:30 am, I get woken up to a text before 7:00 am from the same staff member stating that introductory free classes are only allowed to be given to local residents and that I can only attend if I pay the $28. It's quite frustrating and shocking that after all those emails and texts prior to the day of my class they did not check my address to see it did not fall within the location boundaries and instead decide to tell me this the DAY OF my class. Long story short, if you are able to attend another location, please do so as it is apparent the staff is lacking experience in their customer service skills!

I signed up for the one week trial and had a great time! I was only able to attend four classes,…read morebut enjoyed each one. The instructors were really helpful and gave me some modification options. It would probably help to have some background knowledge of common lifts, but the instructors show the movements and they play on video screens if you need it. Everyone attending was generally in their own zone, so there isn't a lot of chatting because you really focus on getting the exercises done in the set times. I will say that the classes go by super quickly because you're always moving. Cons: The programming is set for the whole month. So each day of the week has its set program and you do that each week for the whole month. For me, this would get old (I really need variety). On the plus side, it does mean you get to see active gains throughout the month. The membership plan is a little pricey. I get why it costs so much, since they do have to cover rent and you only really attend during the class sessions. It isn't a type of gym where you just drop in when you want to use certain equipment. The unlimited monthly membership is $299, but in reality you are getting 30 or 31 classes depending on the month. Since the classes are the same all day, it is unlikely you would do two classes in a day, right? So the pricing is about $10/class if you do the unlimited monthly pass and you go every day. Some of the equipment was pretty smelly. I was at one station that honestly made me gag a little... I think the bench or maybe the dumbells had never been thoroughly cleaned with a bleach solution.

Always a great workout, well maintained facilities and the community is great. Highly recommend.read more

If you are considering signing for trial classes and are perusing this page for reviews - good for…read moreyou for doing your due diligence. No matter what shape you are in, who you will be entrusting your body to is very important. I can say with full confidence that every single one of the what? three bad reviews? Of Sweatbox  should be cast aside because they are irrelevant since none of them talk about the actual sweat method and what it does to your body. Firstly, if you are worried if fat shaming/ageism exists here. The answer is a firm NO. I am older, I am overweight , and I was  welcomed with open arms, made a part of the family immediately, and that has not changed since the first class. I went to one OrangeTheory location a year or so back and was full on fat-and-age shamed and that made my self esteem spiral down into dark abyss for a very long time. Because words hurt, because I am already so vulnerable and frightened to cross the threshold of the gym, I need support, not otherwise. SweatBox is all welcoming, all inclusive type of place. Yes, they are located inside an exact copy of the Globo Gym from Dodgeball, (I got jokes) but just walk to the back of the first floor, to the Sweatbox counter, as far as I understand, gym and them are two separate entities. I purchased a 7-day, $34.00 unlimited trial pass online, came 30 minutes early for the instruction session (important to come early, instructors won't say no to you if you show up 5 minutes prior to class, but ultimately you are shorthanding yourself on the instruction part - don't you want to know as much as you can about bike set up, and components of training? And remember that instructors have other student s  to take care of prior to class) I began my training on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019 and I made sure to come every day, dragging my self in sometimes, even if my body screamed to go get nachos instead. The instructors I've experienced during the trial week were: Alexx G Shawn M Kevin D Ashley D I loved all the instructors, Alexx is all tough love, just as described in his bio, but I love his light show and music choices. Kevin has an amazing aura and energy and makes you feel included. Then comes Ashley, wow. I don't know if she somehow hypnotizes the class, but you get in the zone, stop thinking of outside world, and all you focus on is her voice, her example poses, and her corrections, nothing else. At the end of the class, when you finally come to, you realize that you worked out for a full hour and  never looked at the clock once! Shawn is a rare soul. I have my collection of special, big hearted people, the list is short, but Shawn is on it. First of all the energy during his classes is through the roof, he is so charismatic, you WANT to do good to show him your appreciation. But my experience with him is also more personal. When I felt embarrassed, questioned myself, felt weak, cried like a baby after second class, Shawn in the gentlest of ways supported me, was there for me, helped me get past those hurdles and I cannot be more thankful. He always has words of encouragement, listens with attention, he is present. What an amazing human being. To sum up - 15 lbs. down (results will vary of course) and I signed up for an unlimited monthly. They got me good.

From the moment, I walked in I felt welcomed especially with Brad taking me into the studio early to get me acclimated with the equipment. Brad was an amazing instructor as well, checking on me every few rounds to make sure I was okay and if I needed modifications for anything. I loved his energy throughout the class too. I typically never ask about the membership plans after a class but today I did. I have one more class on my intro offer but I am highly considering getting a membership. I've done other HILT style classes at the other gyms but this one is the best.

Those little touches make the workouts so motivating and fun. Christine is amazing when it comes to form and technique. She's always watching and giving guidance, helping us choose bigger weights when we're ready, and encouraging us to reach our goals. Both of them are incredibly supportive and genuinely care about helping you get the most out of every class. Every session with Dana and Christine is challenging, energizing, and enjoyable. We feel so lucky to have coaches like this, and it really helps getting over any "beginners nervous" They make Orangetheory such a rewarding experience, and we look forward to every class. Unfortunately, our experience with coach Marco was extremely disappointing. This was only our second class, and we clearly told him we were new and didn't know what we were doing. When I asked for help twice, he simply said, "read the paper," and walked away. Meanwhile, he stood nearby chatting casually with another member instead of assisting us.It was frustrating, uncomfortable, and honestly insulting. If this had been our first class, we likely wouldn't have joined, meaning we would have missed out on the amazing coaching from Dana and Christine that we now love.
