Located about 60 miles from downtown Houston, and right in the of the Sam Houston National Forest. This place is literally eden. I always love driving out here and Mr. Hott is one of the nicest guys you will meet. Acres and acres of trees for sale in different stages of growth. They have trees from 1 gallon buckets to trees in 1,000 gallon tubs that require a crane to move. Be advised though, they usually sell to landscapers and retail nurseries. They keep hours that caters to those markets. Sometimes Mr. Hott isn't even there because he is taking a truck load of trees to Dallas, Oklahoma City, or Houston. He does sell to the public and he will see that your tree is delivered but you should understand that he is used to selling 20 trees at a time.. if you want one or two, don't expect him to close his business and follow you home. I'm not saying he won't, I'm just saying that coming out to the country and picking your own tree out is a treat, and probably a little extra for him in his pocket but it's the commercial side that feeds his family and his employees. You can see when you pull up, his trees are in superb shape and under constant care. His prices are better than most in the industry. On top of it all, it's just a pleasure to drive out to this beautiful place. These are good ole country folks, give them a chance the next time you need a tree for an area. read more
