I live across the country from my mom, so I was a bit worried about how ordering flowers online…read morewould work out. The online ordering process was really easy. I ordered the "basic" Bowl of Yellow arrangement from Vineyard Florist for $89.95 on May 8th, asking for delivery on May 9th. I paid a $10 delivery fee to get them to deliver about a 14 minute drive away. I was able to leave a little note for the card online. My mom received an absolutely gorgeous arrangement right on time. The flowers look fresh, healthy, and full. She also really loved what she called the "curly-Qs". The color palette was great. The coordination of the greenery with the white yellow and cream colored flowers was beautiful. Mom was delighted and felt spoiled, which she deserves. I definitely felt that I got a lot for my money. Delivery was not expensive, either! Especially now, when supporting local and small businesses is crucial, I loved this florist and absolutely will use them again for other occasions! I also will probably spring for the "better" or "best" options of their bouquets next time. The "basic" arrangement was definitely beautiful, and the "better" and "best" options are not much of a price difference.

2nd visit to try the traditional "tea room" meal as we ordered off the brunch menu last time…read more This time I ordered the Sampler Sandwich Trio: Three tea sandwiches filled with chicken salad, pimento cheese & egg salad, served on fresh baked Hawaiian bread. I was disappointed. The bread was not fresh. The egg and the pimento salads were runny and bland. It's served with chips which is not traditional for a tea room. I had a cup of potato soup which I also found bland. The chicken salad was perfection! Definitely would order that again. Split an order of the chicken spaghetti which was the day's lunch special. It was just cheese and noodles as I didn't see much chicken it. It's was bland. I like more seasoning in my food. This was more along the lines of bland hospital food. There coconut peach iced tea still a fav and I ll continue to order it. The peanut butter pie, while I was glad I tried it, I probably would not order again. Very heavy. Very rich. Very sweet. Sadly no photos this time.
