She is knowledgeable, helpful, caring and friendly. I totally believe she loves her job, and gets to know her customers and their needs. When I go in there looking for something I always go to Sylvia first. She then tells me if they have it, and where it is located on the lot. If they don't have it she sees to it that it is ordered, and will even contact me when it comes in. I truly like her, and her helpful and caring customer service. Since I am a beginner Beekeeper, and love to grow much of my own vegetables, I show her some pics of what I am doing or looking for, which helps her to serve my needs better. I also find that the nursery has a tremendous selection of items that me or any novice gardener would desire or need. As a Marine Sgt. Veteran, they also give me a discount on every purchase I make. I wish I would have gotten their names ... the lady immediately took me to the coolest pots and told me they were 50% off. Meanwhile, the gentleman asked me how I felt about Dahlias. It is near memorial park but tucked a little out of the way so double check your map before heading out. Otherwise the only snag is that the front of the building says "Shelton W Greer" and doesn't mention vermiculite (and the invoice says just "Vermiculite Products, Inc." Don't worry, just walk in and the receptionist will happily sell you a bag. Bring cash or check, cause they ain't taking credit.
