It wasn't a little garbage, it was kitchen garbage bags full of plastics of all kinds. It was a mess. I tried reaching out to the company(by email to the person I was talking to about prices and how much I was ordering) but never heard back unfortunately. The reason that prompted me to write the review in the first place was months later,after receiving the mulch, I was pulling weeds & I was still picking garbage out of the mulch that the rain had washed up to the surface. It looked so incredibly trashy. After writing the review the company called & emailed me to reach out to apologize for the contamination of the mulch, explain that it wasn't their normal business practice & they pride themselves on great customer service & great products (which I've heard about from others in the past which made me choose this company since I was new to the area.) He explained that with Covid, things had gotten a little abnormal & the emails must've gotten lost in the shuffle for the response back about the situation. I greatly appreciated the company reaching back out to me (even after months later) to correct this. They offered to replace or refund my money. I took them up on the offer to replace half the mulch to cover the garbage/plastics on top of my front beds. I've given this company 5 stars because after all that was said & done.... they came through & corrected their mistake. I can understand accidents happening... we all make them. But for a company to right their wrongs, that's a good company to me. The Covid had messed everyone up & turned things upside down so that is totally understandable! I want to add that the delivery driver was friendly & she called both times to ask where I wanted it dumped(the driveway) when she got to my house. This florist, on both occasions, has made it an effortless process and I am very pleased with them on all counts. The first order was 2 large plants. One an extra large peace lily and the other one a large Ivy. They were beautiful and huge. They put exactly what I wanted on the card and they were delivered on time. The second order a few days ago was a large peace lily and a flower arrangement of their choice. She was very honest with me and let me know that there were running short on flowers due to several funerals at the same time, one being my family member where multiple people had placed orders. I knew from the time before that I could trust them and told them to do whatever they wanted in love for my dear family member and to make it extra large and beautiful. That is exactly what they did. Just beautiful. I can't thank them enough and will be ordering from them again anytime I need flowers or plants in their service area.

When, I called to complain I was shamed for leaving a negative review, instead of first calling them. I thought the retailer should be the one calling me. Especially since I was clear that the bouquet had to include the orchids. Yet I was the one who is remiss in giving a review? Feeling shamed, I revised my review, to a 5 star, which was not honest. After, my dear, sweet cousin, who is 72, and very ill also lied to me, telling me the bouquet is beautiful. Then when I told her I complained she thanked me, and told me she was sorry for lying to me. Sorry here, sorry there. Sorry everywhere. There. This is at least honest now. Sorry, not sorry. Repenting after being shamed by the florist, telling God I'm sorry, and sorry to the florist too. Then, I had to return to God, once again for lying and giving a glowing review. I am one sorry sucker, but boy did I ever get sucker punched, I wonder if God is as cross-eyed, and dizzy as me now. Signed, Too darned old for this stuff.
