She's super honest as well and doesn't try to upsell. She also has great suggestions and has made our lives dramatically easier. Ferguson has so much to choose from, including hundreds, maybe thousands of items not on the floor, but in different colors, sizes and formats. Even their signature line is amazing - and so well priced. Plus most everything is under warranty and if an item gets damaged upon receipt or in transit, they'll stand behind it. I love that. We're still in the process of choosing everything, but I wanted to write this review now since we're heavily working with Tara and appreciate her input so much. Here are a few things that set them apart from other contractors I interviewed: 1) responsive but not pushy. Some stone fabricators in San diego are incredibly pushy. 2) professional- in communication and in the way they do their operations. 3) high tech machinery and a clean cutting room. They let me see the cut template before cutting. 4) high attention to detail. 5) a proper itemized contract. Some contractors would just send me a text message with rates. That's not the way I want to do business, especially when thousands of dollars are being exchanged. The way they did quotes and contracts is what made me pull the trigger. They were mid point on price but for the service and quality you got, i felt it was a great value. I also love giving my money to a nice, hard working family. I visited their showroom that Monday and chose a stone I'd previously seen and loved at Arizona Tile, which they were able to source for me. Ben got me scheduled for installation within the week. The crew that came out was fantastic--each one introduced themselves, explained what they'd be doing, asked a few questions, and got right to work. It was a big job, but they finished the same day and the result was absolutely beautiful. Later, I noticed a very small issue and asked Ben if his guys could fix it the next time they were in my area. They didn't put the tile underneath the dishwasher and if you remove the kick plate you can clearly see they never even cleaned up underneath. Even though they had measurements of our over, there is an inch gap on one side between the countertop and the oven. Biggest issue is the countertops that we purchased through them. After 6 months, area around the kitchen sink area. We have been very careful about wiping down the area but yellowish water stains are definitely there.
