Here are a few things that set them apart from other contractors I interviewed: 1) responsive but not pushy. Some stone fabricators in San diego are incredibly pushy. 2) professional- in communication and in the way they do their operations. 3) high tech machinery and a clean cutting room. They let me see the cut template before cutting. 4) high attention to detail. 5) a proper itemized contract. Some contractors would just send me a text message with rates. That's not the way I want to do business, especially when thousands of dollars are being exchanged. The way they did quotes and contracts is what made me pull the trigger. They were mid point on price but for the service and quality you got, i felt it was a great value. I also love giving my money to a nice, hard working family. She is very hands-on and was a pleasure to communicate with throughout the project.  I especially want to highlight Jai, Joseph, and EV Granites. They all far exceeded my expectations. Jai, the project coordinator, was fantastic. She answered every question promptly, quickly arranged for a replacement part that was damaged during shipping, and stayed on top of every surprise that came up during demolition. She always provided clear options and kept the project moving smoothly. Joseph installed the cabinets at an impressive pace while maintaining exceptional quality. His attention to detail was outstanding. He even reinstalled a few cabinets (which meant redoing the work) to ensure everything was perfectly level. The final result speaks for itself. EV Granites did an amazing job with the countertop. They measured everything with precision, created perfect templates, and made excellent use of every inch of the granite slabs. They were friendly, answered all my questions, and worked efficiently to get the project completed quickly. The entire project was wrapped up in just a couple of weeks, which completely surprised me. I had been worried because similar projects often take months. When Heidi and Jai first shared the timeline, I was skeptical (as contractors often overpromise), but Pure Cabinets did the opposite. From the first meeting with Ben I felt confident that we made the right choice going with this company. I couldn't be happier with the outcome! From start to finish communication was 10/10! Response time with text/calls was minutes! The craftsmanship is 10/10! All the workers were punctual, polite, and professional. (Jose, Connor, and Michael's! .. thank you guys!) Ben made the whole process flow smoothly. We chose to do real stone and Ben called over to Arizona Tile and they had the stone slabs (6 total!) pulled out and waiting for us to view. I made several changes to the design [like changing drawers to cabinets, adding more pull outs...] and they accommodated all my requests without any hesitation. They even coordinated with Pacific Sales with our appliances and made that process stress-free for me. Our custom island is like a beautiful piece of furniture! Our custom vent hood looks exactly like the inspiration pic I provided them with. All the materials are top of the line and our kitchen now looks like a timeless masterpiece! They didn't put the tile underneath the dishwasher and if you remove the kick plate you can clearly see they never even cleaned up underneath. Even though they had measurements of our over, there is an inch gap on one side between the countertop and the oven. Biggest issue is the countertops that we purchased through them. After 6 months, area around the kitchen sink area. We have been very careful about wiping down the area but yellowish water stains are definitely there.
