We booked this room with a travel agency . The greatest thing about the hotel is the reception…read morestaff. The two gentleman there are very helpful . They provided us with info on transportation routes , recommended a great Hop on and hop off bus and were very patient. Deducted two stars for the hotel .The hotel however isn't in the best condition. Our room smelt like dust and mildew , the double room had two double beds pushed together . One of Them had a spring popping out and was uncomfortable To sleep on . The room is sorta small and felt Cramped for two adults. The bathroom is ok the plumbing made noises for several hours after use so we had to keep the door closed . Deducted one more stAr for location .The location is far from downtown sorta inconvenient Too far to walk so An ATAC bus ticket (would purchase before arriving;get a multiple day one for tram+bus) would be useful to get around. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you're looking to be centrally located next to the shops and restaurants.

It's a cute, quaint little hotel, it is a little outside the city center and the 360 bus is slow, but if you are on a budget it's perfect. It is true the elevator is small and the rooms are basic but for the price I think it's fair and people need to realize the buildings in Europe, especially Rome, are old and it's a part of the charm. We thought the outside dining area was such a gorgeous environment and food is good. Free WiFi, I never had any issues. Our room even had a little balcony and that just made our trip even better. Will be back here!

This has been my preferred hotel in Rome lately - have stayed here 4 times in the last 5 months…read more It's clean, modern and the location is good, with close proximity to all of the sights in the city, as well as the main train station (Roma Termini). Breakfast is included if you're a Hilton gold member or higher, and has a great selection of items. Some of the rooms include a terrace, which is a great feature when the weather is nice.

We spent three nights here before an Eastern Mediterranean cruise departing from Civitavecchia. We…read morearrived and departed via Roma Termini, just a few blocks away. That made the location extremely convenient. The hotel sits a short walk from Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, where Pope Francis is buried. Some areas near the main train station are often described as unsafe by Italian standards. We did not experience that near the hotel. Tourists and locals were out late, and the neighborhood stayed active into the evening. Rome is compact and easy to navigate. Most major attractions felt reachable within about 20 minutes by taxi, bus, or rail. We tried to visit the Trevi Fountain at 10:00 pm to avoid crowds. That plan failed completely(see pic). It was packed. Locals eat later than in the U.S., and many parts of the city stay busy well into the night. Restaurants remain open late. A note for U.S. travelers. European hotel rooms run smaller for the price. Even using Hilton points, our room would have cost close to $700 per night USD and felt small. The hotel offers a pleasant rooftop bar and a spacious lobby with multiple seating areas. The buffet breakfast was a solid, comfortable way to start the day. It was included for us as Hilton Diamond members. I am unsure of the cash price. Overall, the location and amenities make this a smart pre-cruise choice, especially for travelers relying on rail connections.
