A decent enough hotel but I do find it very hard to believe it is worthy of 4 stars. The rooms were rather compact and small, making manouvering around with two people rather awkward. There were limited facilities - a terrible hairdryer *tut* no kettle or tea *gasp*, and no hair conditioner *the horror, the humanity*. But at least we had free wifi *yayness*. Based near Termini station, it isn't the nicest of locations but it is incredibly easy to get to and from both airports. Also it is a bit of a walk from some of the main Rome attractions but we enjoyed getting to know the city by foot. The staff were competent although not particularly friendly. I wasn't crazy on the breakfasts - the offerings weren't great and a bit poorly stocked. The rooms also became rather hot and stuffy to bear, and unfortunately the air conditioning was ineffectual. As our room faced out on to the main road having the window open all night was rather loud and noisy to sleep through. Good price, and convenient location for a short trip but more of a 3 star kind of deal. read more
