This hotel is situated on a nice corner close to there key areas of Barcelona. We were walking distance to the Barcelona cathedral, Picasso museum, La Rambla, the metro to get to Park Guell and even the Catalunya historic area.
Location is great, but the staff is just fantastic. They are perhaps the most polite people in the city. They spent time with us to show is where to go, they were very accommodating to even come in the room to adjust the thermostat or bring a towel, and even upgraded us with pleasure for our celebration.
There was a spider web in the top mid corner of the room, no traces of bugs really, but it was small and still unsettling the first night to see one. The area around, granted I like how closer it is to things, is still kinda shady. It's kinda on the other side of the Gothic district, so close to everything, but shady people, mid to lower class locals, and a few steps in and your in the shady part of the Gothic district.
Barcelona as a whole kinda is shady, a lot of perversion, drugs, poor manners, con-artist, distinct toilet smell, cheap salesman, poor microwavable food trying to be sold for 16 Euros and more... Just crappy. So, you can see everyone in two to three days you'll be fine.
So... Hotel is overall great. Barcelona 1 Start read more
