This was my home away from home during a three-night stay in Rome. This served as an excellent location for exploring the city. If you are looking for a reasonably priced place to stay, this hotel is a solid choice.
Rooms are well-appointed and the bathrooms are spacious. I enjoyed having two windows in my room (between sleeping area and bathroom), which I was able to open and get some fresh air into the room. The bathroom had ample counter space, a heated towel rack and was stocked with complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer.
Breakfast had a wide array of choices. Each morning, you found a selection of a few cereals, fresh fruit, rolls/bread, meats, cheese. The staff brought out coffee for you, which was very good. If the hotel is full, it appears that the main breakfast room can fill up rather quickly, but I believe they had an overflow room that they could open to accommodate the traffic in the morning.
The lobby had a few seating rooms off to the side, which was helpful as I was traveling with a group of about 20 people. It served as an easy place to congregate. Finally, there is a beautiful roof deck with stunning views of the nearby attractions. This is a great place to bring a bottle of wine (you can purchase wine from a store up the hill on the same side of the street) and enjoy a Roman sunset. read more
