They assisted us with our ferry transportation due to cancellations from windy/rainy weather while we were there. Upon check-in, they also provided restaurant recommendations and answered any questions we had during the check-in and check-out process. We absolutely loved their breakfast - all the food was so fresh, coffee was made to order and served personally to your table, and their staff was so attentive. We stayed in a room with a balcony and the Positano view was breathtaking. We spent our evenings out on the balcony which was the perfect way to end our days. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Beautiful hotel and would absolutely stay here again!

Everything is perfection and I'm not exaggerating. I've stayed in some of the best hotels in the world, but this one to me is the peak. Our room was on another level. The most magnificent marbel bathroom, incredible shower, the bed was so comfortable with amazing bedding, linens, towels. The floors, the couch, every detail, even the closet and TVs. Don't even get me started about the balcony, it was so perfect that it literally felt like AI. Walking outside to the patio and being immersed in the magnificent views of Positano with the cliffside, there's just no words, you really have to live it to feel it! The pool is stunning, the food was out of this world, every moment was just pure bliss. I could stay here every year, you truly are transported into another dimension. Not only from the beauty, but service, of quality and general bliss. This is truly one of those places where you get what you pay for! Yes, it is exorbitantly expensive, but it's worth every penny because the memories that you create and the feeling that you take with you will last a lifetime! I cannot wait to return. Room number 71, one of the best I've ever stayed in! Breakfast was so exquisite, along with all of our lunches and dinners. I cannot wait to return! Their private Beach Club was also next level. I cannot stress the importance of how every little detail is thawed out and executed just perfectly. How fitting it was when I got to stay here for a few days during my cousin's writer's workshop back…read morein March. I love how they continue to support writers. This was the workshop's 15th year. John Steinbeck once stayed here and wrote, "Positano bites deep. It is a dream place that isn't quite real when you are there and becomes beckoningly real after you have gone." It really is a breathtaking, magical city that I was fortunate to visit. What makes it even more amazing is that it is owned by the Sersale family from Naples who have opened up their summer vacation home and turned it into a lovely hotel in 1951. They had purchased the adjacent building next door to expand. This hotel was also once a US Army rest resort. It is still a family operated hotel with some staff. Antonio, the co-owner and general manager was at the writer's workshop dinner, and his wife Carla does the gardening throughout and designs for the Emporio Sirenuse boutique store across the street. Famous celebrities like Reese Witherspoon and Kylie Jenner have also stayed here. The rooms are a good size. We had a marble bathroom with huge bathtub and a small patio seating that had wooden lattice windows that opened to the pool/terrace overlooking the beach. I'm shocked about a Dyson hair dryer in its own box. The turn down service was so great. They laid out my sleep clothes, a small towel on the floor near the bed, slippers, a Baci chocolate (my fave), bottled water, turned down the lights and put music on the TV, and gave a card with the weather report for the next day. It was helpful! Positano was chilly and sometimes rainy mid March. Antonio, not the co-owner though same first name, was at the front and greeted us when we transferred from our AirBNB. He was the sweetest and helpful when I inquired about a tour to Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius. Even when I left before the writer's workshop ended, he said I should stay. I really wished I could! I had already taken 3 days post spring break from work since I had been to Germany and was headed to London before going home. The spa was open to the writers and their +1s. After hiking Mt. Vesuvius, I got to sit and relax my muscles in the sauna, ice room, and did 2 dips in the cold plunge pool. The snacks and tea were great. I loved that there was a shower with Aveda products. The gym was also on the same floor. La Sponda restaurant at the hotel terrace area is a Michelin star. They're usually open for dinner, but they were closed because it was still considered winter and not open until the end of March or beginning April during peak season. We were fortunate to enjoy a cocktail hour prior to dinner at La Sponda specifically for the writer's workshop. They also served a buffet breakfast plus a la carte entrees for 2 days. I missed one day since I had my tour of Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius in Naples and left early am before breakfast. I did take advantage the second day! Btw, you can also order in room service. I loved everything at Le Sirenuse from all the plants and flowers to the detailed decor, epic views, delicious food and friendly staff. This was a once in a lifetime experience I will never forget.

Five star property here. I had a hard time finding the entrance while driving in but found an…read morealley about one car width with a security guard. I drove in down a long pathway and was able to park in close proximity to the entrance. The security guard notified the front desk so they greeted my outside. The porter took my bags inside. I had arrived before check-in time so I had some time to explore the property before seeing my room. The garden area outside is very nice! I was told that the hotel would be closing for winter in a few days time and that is was slow. Since they did not have high occupancy, they upgraded me for free from a garden view to an ocean view. After 30 minutes or so the room was ready and I was escorted to see the room. It was quite impressive as there was the room itself but had a "sitting room" next it is so it was basically a suite. There was a door to the balcony that had a table for two and an ocean view. We were provided with a complimentary bottle of wine and a Panettone loaf. The room was nice an had everything except for a coffee maker. There was no hot water pitcher either. The bathroom had a toilet where the seat was not aligned to the toilet which is scary for a man as a pinched ball sack would not be good. This property is right next to Piazza Tasso which is the main square and is surrounded by restaurants and shops. There is a bar onsite as well as a Michelin starred restaurant called Terrazza Bosquet. The restaurant was good and the staff were amazing, front desk, concierge, bell staff and restaurant staff. Customer Service is a big priority here. A few small tweaks needed but was a five star experience!

Our room was a suite with two balconies, and a picturesque view of the sea and Mt Vesuvius. Our room felt secluded and private. Beautiful and comfortable sofa and chairs in the room with all the bathroom amenities you would want. We would love to come back and spend more than the four nights we were there! I would highly recommend the hotel installing some safety features in the shower, as it is very slippery and there are no rails in the shower to hold on to. I would imagine someone has probably slipped. The breakfast was enjoyable and relaxing, the omelet maker girl was very nice! We really enjoyed walking the grounds including the cave to the waterside. It was a beautiful pool and very relaxing with drinks. I would also recommend the hotel accommodate travelers who would like to mail a post card and do it for them. Most hotels will mail it and even put the postage on the card. I would also recommend water to be handed out at the concierge or lobby desk for NO CHARGE. We had to pay 7 euros for one large bottle. We have stayed at other hotels and they just ask how many boxes of water we would like. This hotel is close walking into town, we would definitely go back!
