Got a room at this hostel in the Fremont area. It has been called one of Seattle's best hostels by many online. Hotel Hotel certainly is a place we could stay again. Location is good and so is the place itself. The prices are okay for the area and quality. Cool thing about it for many staying here is the location of course. It's located close to a lot of hip bars and restaurants. This is in one of the main touristy areas, which means it gets crowded around here and inside this. Especially the bathrooms. They have a few in each hall so it's not very long of a wait. If needing toiletries it's $1 for soap or toothpaste. That's an okay price for these. Could charge you even more for these actually. The most notable local attraction is the Fremont Troll, which is only a few blocks away and is a good place for pictures. Has a cozy and comfortable feel to it. It's located next to many restaurants and shops, as well as other things like a few parks. This is also located along a few bus lines, so it's convenient to get to with public transportation. read more

This is a clean, quiet, semi-upscale hostel (as far as such a thing can be), with a fantastic location in the Fremont neighborhood, a block away from all the action, but a little on the spendy side. And by a little, I mean a lot. I booked a private room, as my wife and I were travelling with our toddler son, and didn't want him to potentially disturb other guests. When looking for accommodations in Seattle a month prior, for some reason, *every* hotel in the city with an available room was exorbitantly overpriced, and picking a hostel seemed like the only affordable option. Unfortunately, even a meager private room here set us back $200, once all taxes and fees were added, which is bananas, if you ask me, and one of the only reasons I am deducting a star from this review. The other reason is because, during the entirety of our stay, we saw zero staff on site. No one. Nobody. Nada. Our "check-in", if you can call it that, was via a text message that informed us which room was ours and when it would be ready, as well as the code for the front door and the code for our room: no swipe cards necessary, which was nice. I'm sure I could have texted if we had any questions or concerns during our stay (which we didn't), but the lack of a human presence was a little on the unusual side. Similarly, we rarely heard, or saw, any of the other guests as well. It almost felt as if we had the entire place to ourselves. All the bathrooms were clean and spacious, and *someone*...some unseen entity, was maintaining them, so we weren't truly alone. Our private room was small, with two twin beds, a sink and mirror, mini fridge, portable AC unit, a shelf and a couple stools, but it was all we needed, since we spent very little time in our room, other than to sleep. One last thing to mention would be that there is no ADA access whatsoever; just inside the entrance, there is a massive stairwell that is the only passage to the rooms, so far as I could see. I guess that's not really an issue though, as most backpackers and hostellers wouldn't need such a thing, but I feel it should still be mentioned. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. Hotel Hotel is clean, safe, and located in a fantastic neighborhood. However, I would definitely be a lot more particular about securing a better price on a future visit, by planning further ahead instead of scrambling for a room at near the last minute: the beast of spontaneity always bites the wallet the hardest. However, for budget travelers looking for a cheap-ish bed to bunk down in a shared dorm, you're not likely to find a better place anywhere else in Seattle. read more

First off, let me explain how hesitant and uneasy I have always been at the idea of staying in a hostel.. Nothing to do with that awful movie.. just sharing a room with random strangers isn't my thing.. lol. I had no idea there was the option of a private room in a hostel, so when I noticed that on Air bnb's website, along with the outstanding price, stellar location, etc etc, I was pumped. To make a long story, or review, short.. I CANT EXPLAIN HOW AMAZING CHRIS (manager of the property) IS. he was SOOOO BEYOND accommodating.. granting me an extended check out time, and having to go and change the bill when my card declined twice! Not to mention he gave me about 20 dollars off the whole thing, even after going above and beyond and having to help my annoying @$$!! This place kicks ass.. it has an awesome vibe, ITS SSOO CLEAN, and I love how it seems to be a ghost town! awesome kitchen with literally everything you could ever need to cook with.. and to store your food (two large fridges) I cant thank Chris enough. don't even give it a second thought.. BOOK HERE. NOW!! I give you my word that if you are like me (very friendly and outgoing but prefer to keep to myself and/or own party when staying in a hotel) you will NOT regret the decision!!!!!! read more

This is the second hostel I have ever stayed in so I'm not an expert of hostel accommodations butttt I know comfort when I see it. Hidden on the upper floors of downtown (?) Fremont, Hotel Hotel has a nice homey, hipster vibe. You know, the types of places that call their restrooms "Water closets"? Yea, it's like that. Wood flooring and dim lighting dominate this place. I stayed in a four person co-ed dorm which had two bunk beds, lockers (8 of them), and a small sink and mirror. Bring your own lock(s) or rent one for a few dollars. Same goes with your bath towel. Two restrooms with a shower and one shower-less restroom is shared with the hostel wing. My gripes are that it's loud and it's dark. Fremont comes alive at night especially during the weekend and after a full day of exploring Seattle, the last thing I want is to be kept awake by people on the streets. The rooms themselves (or my room - 15) was dimly lit which meant I couldn't really do anything in the room but sleep or be on my phone. It definitely wasn't bright enough to relax and read a book or something. These should and can be easily fixed by some soundproofing and brighter lights! This was my first time staying in a hostel and I was super impressed! We had a private room, which means towels are provided and you get a key card to get into the building and your room. The building itself was modern industrial chic and very clean. The staff were all extremely nice and easy to talk to, especially Brian who helped check us in. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and spacious. There are 5 bathrooms and we never had to wait for one, they were also super clean and nice. Great location on corner in Fremont just across the bridge! Large but very quaint bar for large and small groups! TVs and big screen for viewing and Cheering on the Hawks! And Cougs! Note that this isn't a hotel in spite of the name but a hostel. Our regular hostel by Pike Market was booked up a few days after Bumbershoot 2013 was announced, therefore, we ended up scrambling to find a hostel. Out of all the hostels that were suggested, this was the only one at the time that got 4 stars and had minimal incidents documented on the bed bug registry. We were situated in the Fremont area, an area we've heard about just never had a reason to venture out until now. This was the nicest hostel my best friend and I ever stayed at and extremely reasonable in price at $70 for a private room for 2 per night. The people there both staff and other patrons are awesome and friendly. The showers are clean and they supply you with towels. They have a no personal bedding policy which is good to ensure hygiene and health. In other words you cannot use your own personal bedding. Breakfast is supplied in the morning of cereal, milk and fruit...enough to get the day going. The atmosphere is modern elegant and our room was a brick NY flat looking room with some shickness to it. The staff just chill in the small common room and are very sociable. The social element is what I like about hostels to begin with. The wifi was very reliable. read more

Ambiance: 5 Stars This is the best interior design of any hostel in my history of hosteling. Very clean, modern, and inviting. Beds: 2 Stars The mattress was comfy enough but the frame was cheap - like something from the sale rack at IKEA. Also, there aren't plugs near each bunk like there are at several other hostels. Location: 4 Stars This is very subject to where you want to be. Fremont is a great location, but it will be a short bus ride to downtown. I prefer Fremont to downtown anyway. Check out a place one block from here called "Always Happy Hour" (yes, that is the name of the bar). Breakfast: 2 Stars The breakfast was a little less impressive than a couple of the other area hostels - just toast and fruit, or something - and started at 8am which was too late for me to participate, on my last visit. If I could live here, I would. This is by far the best hostel I've ever stayed in. I stayed for 5 nights and I was almost sad to leave. It's a little hard to find, because it's sort of hidden, but I ended up liking how out of sight it was. - The security is great. Only the people staying there/ prospective travelers are allowed inside. You get a key card to enter your room, and there are lockers inside the room if you need to store anything. - The staff is incredibly friendly, cool, and helpful. - They serve breakfast every morning! - It's CLEAN. Like incredibly clean. As in spotless. The rooms and bathrooms are thoroughly cleaned every morning. - The bathrooms and showers are private!! - There's a great livingroom/common area. So comfortable and well decorated. There's also a kitchen you can use. It has a fridge, dishwasher, oven, sink, eating area, pots and pans, and plenty of dinnerware that you can use 24/hrs a day. AND AGAIN, it's spotless. - There's an awesome, fun bar right downstairs and tons of cute shops and places to eat steps away from the hostel. It's only 30/night, and I ended up having a 6 bedroom room to myself the entire time. It was pretty empty, probably because it's off-season, but also because it's in Fremont, instead of downtown, and I'm not sure many people know about it. Definitely stay here! This was my first hostel experience ever. My bf and I stayed in a private room with a king size bed and separate bathroom down the hall for $79 a night. I was pretty impressed with the size of the room and the cleanliness of the place. We always saw someone cleaning something somewhere. Which cured hostel stereotype #1 worry.....that these places can be dumps sometimes. Hotel Hotel is very far from being some run down dump. The key cards really help protect your stuff. They not only are necessary for entering and leaving the building, but for entering and leaving your room. Something my bf was very concerned about since he is not as trusting ( or naive) as I can be when it comes to his laptop. I was relieved that the folks that work there don't come into your private room everyday to clean. Not that I am dirty, I just feel odd about folks seeing my flat iron and my undies laying about. I was worried that it would be a pain to have to use the bathrooms, but that wasn't the case at all. The only time I ever had to wait to use one of the showers was for about 15 minutes on my very last day there. Maybe I've just had crappy bathroom luck in my life, but the bathrooms here, in comparison to what I am used to, are almost like going to a spa. I was very relaxed and loved the adjustable shower heads. Well done! You can also rent towels for $2 and its good for your entire stay. The only thing that rubbed me kind of oddly was that I felt watched. I had gone to the kitchen late at night to get a glass of water for myself and my bf, when I caught the guy at the counter watching me though the window. This happened more than once while I was there. The guy must have either really liked me or thought I was pocketing coffee cups in my jammies. They also give you this lecture about having people come over, drugs and alcohol when you first come in which I found to be kind of tacky. I mean, you can't help but to wonder what has gone down there before almost immediately and if you're staying in some kind of half way house. During the lecture I started to wonder if I had made a mistake not getting a hotel. Luckily the place was very nice, and the rest of our stay was very pleasant. They should really just put that on a wavier/ house rules form that you sign when you walk in and just leave the counter folks to do the smiling and handing of the papers. I was also kind of bummed that they promised bike rentals on their website but they only have two bikes to rent and one was broken during our stay. We would/will definitely stay here again though. Overall the experience was wonderful. The people that work there are very helpful. The rooms look like something straight out of a furniture catalog. Surprisingly a wonderful experience! My fiancé and I have never been to Seattle before. I used to stay at a lot of hostel in my college hay day, but considering I'm pushing 30, hotels are now my norm. My fiancé did his research and said that this hostel was more like a boutique hotel. When we walked in the first thing I noticed was how clean it was. We stayed for 5 nights there in a private room that had its own bathroom (so worth the extra money if you're traveling with your spouse!) and saved SO much MONEY. If we had stayed in a hotel, our bill would have been astronomical. They do provide a breakfast in the morning that consists of toast, cereal, fruit and coffee which was all we needed to get our day started. Had read reviews of the noise being too loud from an Irish bar downstairs. Irish bar no log exists. Hotel Hotel expanded their pizza place to include the bar so noise wasn't a problem and the pizza place was clutch as a good late night spot. Pie, the store next door, is open til 2 and their pies are amazing! And finally the Rockstar of the establishment was Nancy! She was a friendly face every morning, very accommodating AND gives you great spots to check out around town, especially on a budget! But that's nothing to take from the rest of the staff. They were equally amazing, just didn't know their names If I could change one thing, our bedroom was a little warm because the lack of central air in the rooms. However they do provide box fans and heaters in all the rooms We would definitely stay again and recommend! read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hostel!! My boyfriend and I came here on vacation in August from Boston, stayed for 4 nights, and we were amazed by this hostel. I honestly thought it was better than staying in a hotel. It has a nice, laid back feel, with friendly staff. We got a king bedded room with a private bath for about $100 a night. We still talk about how much we loved staying here and how we want to go back as soon as possible! The location of the hostel is also a key factor: walking distance to several excellent restaurants, cafes, stores, and the bus that goes downtown is a 2 minute walk down the street. But, one morning it was so nice by boyfriend and I walked downtown and we were at the Space Needle in 35 minutes. Fremont has a cute appeal in that it is less busy than downtown, but still has so much to do! I cannot implore you enough: stay here! Best kept secret in Seattle! Stylish, affordable, friendly and CLEAN. Let me say it again: CLEAN. From $30 for a bunk to around $100 for a private room, you can be in the middle of Fremont and just a short distance away from all the hot spots in Seattle. Great shops, bars and restaurants within immediate walking distance. My little brother stayed here for a week and had a great time. (The entryway of Hotel Hotel is kind of hidden. I stayed here for 5 nights and would absolutely stay here again. It is the best hostel experience that I have had. It feels more like a boutique hotel than a hostel. The décor was Scandinavian/Funk. The bathrooms were single occupancy only, but there were 5 of them and they were very large. The hostel staff were as professional as what you'd find in a hotel, but friendlier. Pros: - safe: Freemont is a safe neighborhood - secure: a key card is necessary to enter the hostel and to get into the dorm room; the desk clerk requires that you show your key card in order to be allowed into the hostel; half lockers are available in the dorm room to store your valuables - location is great! Pros: - Incredibly Clean space - New fixtures, furniture, carpet etc - Clean, modern feel/look - Bathrooms are super clean - Nice kitchen space to make your own food - Free, healthy breakfast in the morning - Friendly Staff - High security (key card given to guests, must show upon entry, must use to gain access to building) - Great location - Pay upfront, and can pay separately from your travel buddies. Cons: - Bring earplugs; We had a great, quiet roommate, but you may not. Also, there's a bar below them and you can hear the music pretty clearly, late in the evening. - Bring an eyemask; Your roommate might be up earlier than you so it's good to have if you need to sleep in - There are several steps you have to climb up and down to get into your room. they are unavoidable. If you have any kind of health condition that could cause this to be an issue, take that into consideration. This is a very good hostel that I liked a lot. It was clean and had good customer service. The hostel has comfortable beds, lockers in the room and an okay free breakfast. Wi-fi works good and it has a good atmosphere where I met several interesting people. The hostel is in a good (but not great) location located in the Fremont neighborhood- it is about a 15 minute bus ride from downtown and there are plenty of bars, stores and restaurants nearby. The hotel-hostel just opened about a month ago, and we stayed in the private king bed with the shared bathroom. This place is still in the works; our room was pretty bare and the blinds were too short so it didn't shut out all the sun come daytime. However, the owner, Lee, is wonderful and clearly loves what he's doing. He has big ideas for this new hostel of his; he has a very artsy one downtown at City Hostel that was full when we tried to book there. Continental breakfast was simple but good: my favorites were the fresh fruits with honey yogurt and the freshly ground peanut butter on toast. The hostel is located in a great location that's walkable to all sorts of shops, restaurants, wonderful happy hours, nightlife, etc. And it's just one block from a 15-ish minutes bus to downtown. read more

This was a nice funky hostel located on a fun street in Seattle! It reminded me of some great hostels I've encountered in Europe. I came with an army of women (7-strong!) for a weekend wedding. The place is very clean and modern with well kept bathrooms and kitchens. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful regarding where to go around town. They will also let you keep your baggage up front in case your flight leaves later in the day. Word of warning, I happened to visit on a freak weekend where the weather in Seattle was in the 90s during the day and like 80's in the evening. This hostel does not have air conditioning! Which probably is good for the rest of the year- just not on freak-weather hot days! Also, it's located right above the bars on Fremont, so it is pretty noisy at night. So either join with the revelers on the street, or ask for a pair of earplugs at the front desk. read more

You're within striking distance of downtown while being able to take advantage of everything Fremont and Ballard have to offer. It is also super clean, fun and energetic. If you are going to be disturbed by the fact that you are above a bar you should probably find another spot. However, a lot of people could see it as a boon, there is no hotel in Seattle with a bar like the Dubliner. I will be recommending it to a lot of friends who come to Seattle but probably not my Grandmother. read more

A friend and I checked into a private room for one night during the middle of the week - we had 2 single beds and it was just under $80. GREAT location - walking distance to tons of restaurants and shops + nearby bus stops can take out anywhere in the city. The staff was friendly, the place was clean and it was VERY affordable for the location/amenities. There's a well-equipped kitchen which would definitely come in handy for longer stays. Bathrooms are large and clean. The one downside to the room was lighting. There was a single light in the middle of the ceiling and a lamp to the right of the sink - since the bathrooms were fairly busy in the mornings I wanted to apply makeup etc. in my room and the light was inadequate for that - small gripe. Now I am just trying to figure out when I can come back and bring my husband so we can check out Fremont together. read more

The hostel was very clean and I enjoyed that there were individual rooms to shower and use the restroom. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and the beds were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was mediocre but I honestly wasn't even expecting to get a breakfast so that was a nice bonus! Finally, the staff and owner were absolutely wonderful. Hotel Hotel hostel was overall a very wonderful experience. The free breakfast, the friendly staff, and the clean, cute atmosphere made my stay worthwhile. I stayed in the 8 bedroom, which was a great price (about $28 for a night), but it was difficult to be quiet while all the others went to bed early on a Saturday night. The locker was especially loud during the night. It is $2 dollars for a towel or a locker. One staff girl (Megan) even went out with a few of us on her night off. Everyone around the hostel was warm and interested in being friends. I definitely recommend this hostel if you are traveling through Seattle. Although the nightlife in Fremont isn't crazy the area has great coffee shops, stores & you can't miss the Sunday Market just down the street. You will meet some great friends who will maybe even walk all the way to Ballard with you for a good time! The breakfast was small, but the tea choices were endless! This is one sweet hostel! My girlfriend and I live in Fremont and were out for a walk in the neighborhood when we stumbled upon Hotel Hotel. Within moments we were on a private tour with the owner chatting away about traveling the world, hostel stories and life in general. Although I haven't stayed there, I can tell for sure that Hotel Hotel is a top-notch hostel. With great furniture, beautiful floors and exposed brick, it's a beautiful and comfortable space. I've stayed here twice now, once in 2013 and most recently this past weekend. The staff, amenities, price and location keep me coming back. Fremont has such a chill vibe and is very walkable to great restaurants and shops. I really enjoyed getting to know the history with a free tour Sunday with Megan. The hostel is very tidy and the staff is so helpful. When my return flight got cancelled morning-of, Brian helped me extend my stay and coordinated so that I could be in a 4-person room instead of paying more for a private room when it was just me (they were booked solid for Labor Day weekend). This is a very interesting/ unique hostel. On my arrival to the city I was nervous because you never know the conditions or who you will be sleeping with in the same room. Online, it said the total was $62. They charge $2.00 immediately and the rest upon arrival. I ended up paying an extra $5 for taxes. So pretty much $67 for 2 nights in a 4 bunk bed room. I ended up having the whole room to myself that Thursday night which was lovely. Once in bed I noticed an interesting smell. I believe it came from the carpet, and it must be built up of smelly feet. I would suggest they not only vacuum the carpet, but perhaps shampoo it or whatever. Not saying all their rooms are like this, but room 15 was. The next night I came back with 2 people sleeping in the room. I was bummed. Once I walked in there was a horrible Oder in the room! It wasn't the hostels fault but whoever had bad breathe! They must of breathed very hard and loud to stink out the room. The room just smelled like breathe and it was disgusting! It was the most horrible smell ever. If I was really on a budget and needed a place to stay I would stay here. But if I ever visit Seattle, I will be getting a hotel just because I prefer privacy. And mind you a nice hotel in Seattle can be pricey. If you're on a budget and need a place. This place won't hurt. read more

Do not let the fact that this is a hostel deter you from staying here. This isn't what you expect from a typical hostel (I can share some experiences from my younger days) and is the first one I've encountered that had a homey, family friendly vibe to it. They have both shared and private accommodations here, and while we wound up staying in a private room, we did get to see the shared rooms, and they were all very simple, but clean and comfortable. If you're in shared accommodations, they do have lockers for storing your stuff, and you can rent a lock from them for a couple bucks. Like most hostels, it has a communal kitchen where you can cook your own food (this was clean and well stocked) but I imagine most people will want to take advantage of all of the eateries the surrounding neighborhood has to offer. Hotel Hotel is located in the Fremont area, which is very pedestrian friendly and has lots of great restaurants and shopping just steps from this hostel's front door (I recommend the pie place right next door, which is memorably just called "Pie"). It's also on the bus line, so getting to all of those tourist attractions will be easy for you. (No private parking lot though - FYI.) Staying in Seattle can easily break the bank, so if you're on a budget, this may be the solution for you. Rates vary only slightly from winter to summer. I recommended this to a friend of mine recently who was looking for an affordable option for her and her teenaged daughter, and they, too, felt comfortable and safe here (again, in case you're worried about the hostel thing) and loved the neighborhood and its proximity to the city center. The location alone makes it a good place to stay, even if you're not on a budget (how much time do you plan to spend in your room anyways?). We would definitely stay there again. read more

My stay was great! I stayed in was the 6 bed, all female room. It was dorm room style w/ bunk beds, but enough room for everyone. The staff and accommodation was great, my onlu complaint is that the location on Fremont seemed to be very confusing for any of my Lyft drivers to find. The intersection is weird and 3 out the 4 Lyfts I took during my stay had trouble locating the place. The neighborhood around the place is lively with a couple places nearby to eat and drink. Right off the bat, there is hair on our bedding. Unsanitary! There is no parking so we have to pay for it every 10 hours and we are here for two nights. WiFi is also very slow. Not the best but if you don't have high expectations; this is the place for you. Hospitality is nice and the staff are very sweet. Conditions could be a bit cleaner, at least a clothes iron, and parking passes for their customers. read more

Best Detroit style pizza outside of Detroit hands-down. I was blown away at how good and legit it was! Keep up the amazing work!

If you want to be wide awake at 2 a.m., listening to live music, hey, this could be great. If not, this is a hellish way to spend the night, and sleeping in my car would have been better. I have to wonder why anyone would give this "hostel" a good review. Hostels are for budget travellers, who just want to get some sleep. That is not possible at this "hostel". Nothing about it is what a normal hostel should be, and anyone who has travelled around and stayed at hostels would wonder why they chose this absurd location. I have stayed at hostels in many countries, and never experienced a place like this. I really wish that the desk clerk, who I asked about the noise levels from the bar below, could have mustered up a little honesty. I'll find a cheap hotel for $20 more next time, and I'm sure I will manage to sleep more than half the night. read more

Of many hostel, air bnb and couch surfing experiences hotel hotel hostel was the worst for their disturbing lack of humanity, compassion and understanding. I drove to Seattle from SC, walked up their steps desperate for a bed and excitedly mentioned that I was in town waiting to here about a place being renovated they turned me away promptly insisted that it was policy not to accept a local. I presented my id (sc) and implored them that I had no ties other than a bus pass and the possibility of hearing back concerning housing next month. All of my belongs are so heavy, and not knowing which bus goes to downtown I called the desk desperate from the corner literally begging for mercy but they said that I should not have mentioned potentially living here. :( I only hope that hotel hotel hostel does not represent Seattle at all. read more

Let me just simply say, this is a great hostel. I stayed for 5 nights including over New Years and all I have is praise for the hotel hotel owners and staff. Location: Fremont is a great neighborhood of Seattle. It is walkable with some pretty good food options at a variety of prices, and one of the best Seattle breweries just a few blocks away. One bus that picked up a block south of the hostel will bring you all the way downtown. I stopped in on the middle of a road trip and didn't pay parking the the whole time I was in town! How awesome is that!? There is a website from the city of Seattle that maps out every block of Seattle and where there is free parking, paid parking, time limited parking, etc. I found the time limited parking to be pretty lenient (as in you could easily stay an hour over your limit), though that could be due to light parking patrol staffing over the holiday time period. Back to the hostel. The owners and staff really make an attempt to make you feel like part of the community. They're super friendly, and will hang out with you and other travelers in the common areas. The whole community vibe made it super easy to meet other travelers. Awesome people. The hostel was kept very clean. The bathrooms were in good shape and I liked the fact that the bathrooms were private with a private shower, which you don't find in most hostels. I will say that sometimes it's a little loud from the bar/pizza restaurant below (which is staffed by some of the same upstairs staff) in the late night. But it's a hostel! I just popped some earplugs in, and problem fixed. I have been in hostels where it's a party around the clock even in the dorms and that is no good. Hotel hotel is not like that. (Except for New Year's Eve, understandably.) Again, as any traveler will tell you, never leave home without earplugs. Nancy and Lee, thank you for all you do! This has to be the most elegant and clean hostel I have ever stayed in. First off, the location is fantastic; it is only one block from the bus stop and right in the heart of Fremont. The front desk staff is fantastic and super helpful. They were really open to any questions that I had and were able to point me in the right direction when I needed to figure out how to get to certain landmarks. The rooms were super clean and had a sink right in the unit. The beds were extremely comfortable and the lockers were spacious and enough for each person to have 2. The bathrooms were IMMACULATE and spacious. I mean seriously, they were nicer than most 5-star hotel bathrooms. The showers were huge and there was plenty of hot water. The kitchen was clean and spacious as well. The breakfast was nothing to write home about, but there are plenty of nice spots as soon as you walk out. One other thing, I happened to speak to Lee, the owner of the hostel, and he plotted out a whole walking tour for me of downtown Seattle and Fremont! He was so nice! Overall, Hotel Hotel is about a 15 minute from all the stuff downtown, but I actually preferred Fremont to that area. If you visit Seattle, there is no question that this is the place you should stay. read more
