The hotel is nice. I come to Hanover for work fairly often. This is the first time I've stayed here…read moreas opposed to the Holiday Inn express that's across the parking lot. Both hotels are very similar. This hotel is probably a little bit nicer. However, the beds in the Holiday Inn in my opinion I'm more comfortable. I prefer a soft bed. The beds here are relatively hard. My body is so sore from sleeping in these beds. The next time I come back, I will be returning to the Holiday Inn express. This is not a bad hotel. My biggest complaint is the comfort level in the beds. If you prefer a harder bed, this hotel is probably right for you.

Had a pleasantly uneventful stay at this hotel. Easy check in/check out via Hilton iPhone app. I…read morewas even able to get a digital key, helpful when arriving late in the evening, and go straight to my room without checking in at the front desk. There was plenty of parking and the hotel itself was very clean and had hand sanitizing stations on each floor near the elevator. I found the bed to be very comfortable and had no problem getting a good nights rest here. The bathroom is also fine... The shower pressure was decent and the drainage was good (seems to me a lot of hotel showers don't drain well - this one worked). There was also a welcome letter under my door that I found upon arrival, recognizing me as a Hilton honors member and welcoming me to the hotel, which I found to be a very nice touch.

I am only writing this review so that someone from out of down does not make the same mistake we…read moredid. The motel mimics that of a horror movie to say the very least. To name a few things: blood stained sheets, smoke stained walls, faulty electrical outlets, missing ceiling times, and the shower from Psycho. Also, it was so cold we slept in our clothes and coats. We fear for the contamination which may have penatrated our bodys. We are burning our clothes and bathing in boiling water after this stay. After paying $70 we got to check out our toxic dump room and the office was conviencely closed, with a sign stating NO REFUNDS. The only reason it qualifies as even one star is because the people working in the horror hotel were lovely.

This is the worst place that I have ever stayed in my life. I highly suggest that if you are…read moreconsidering to stay here that you reconsider. Let me explain. My girlfriend and I stayed here about a week ago. When we got there we got the very last room that they had. The room was beyond filthy. Dirty stained carpet that turned our feet black. The linens were disgusting. The comforter was stained yellow and there were black specks all throughout the bed. When I went to the office to ask for a new set of linens it was locked with a no vacancy sign on the door and nobody around to assist us. The room had a bad odor with no working air conditioner. We had to sleep with our windows wide open for some cool fresh air. The bathroom was a whole other story. The toilet was detached from the floor and rocked back and forth when you sat down. The shower was moldy and stained. There was a hole in the wall with a small non functioning ac unit (?) with a picture hung in front to cover it up. We actually considered sleeping in our car even after purchasing the room. To my regret we did not. We were awoken many times throughout the night from noise in the hallway and the worst part of it all is that I now have what appear to be small bug bites all up and down my arms legs chest and shoulders and a rash on my right arm which may or may not be a result of our stay in this filthy room and disgusting bed. If it isn't then it is quite a coincidence. If you should decide to chance it i suggest that you stay away from room 6!!!

And since I am out here for a bowling tournament and wanted to bring in my balls. That is some heavy lugging up to 3rd floor. The rooms are nice and definitely the air conditioning works well. Room was cold and it is near 90 outside. So that was nice as I turned up the temp some. There is plenty parking for guest and golfer's. The restaurant is very good. And plenty staff to wait on you. The view is so nice if you out on the deck. Mountains in the back ground of a golf course. Just amazing. This place is a hidden gem if you truly looking to relax. And if you play golf you'd be in heaven. They have a golf pro shop here as well if you forget or want to start playing. It's is not the Marriott or Hyatt but it is worth passing on reward points and enjoying Quarters. Lol

Going to give this a 2 star review as I've truly enjoyed playing this course in the past. However,…read morethe conditions have slowly gone down hill in the last few years. Several greens have issues. Tee boxes are uneven and even the ones that are even, the staff manages to put the markers on the uneven parts. This used to be a top tier public course but now the only thing top tier are the prices. The course is in rough condition right now with the greens not being mowed down or rolled among other issues around the course but yet they are already charging summer prices. Went to play 9 holes on Sunday 4/19 around 3 pm and there were only 3 other groups out there (all on the back 9) and the fee was $35. In all honesty, for those prices, save your money and go play at quail valley, or go play 18 at range end or Flatbush. Both were priced around $48 for 18 holes around that time and are probably in better condition right now.

I fully recommend the three-floor climb to walk off some calories from the delicious breakfasts!) Speaking of, innkeepers Carrie and Olivia took great care of us. We were even lucky enough to interact with Co-owner Christine Cambell who was also there for the weekend. (If she's there with you, pick her brain!!! She knows everything Gettysburg and is a most gracious hostess.) The property is very well thought out and appointed. While preserving lots of the look and feel of times gone by, it also affords guests with every modern convenience! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a wonderful retreat in one of our nation's most historic cities. You won't regret it. A. Clyde

The location is good. The breakfasts were uneven: one outstanding, one pretty awful (a cold Egg McMuffin and cottage cheese?), and one so-so. But perhaps they had a new or temporary cook, because other reviewers did not seem to find this to be the case. We did not find a book in our room with information? Instructions on operating the thermostat would have been helpful, as it got quite cold the third night. Parking is very generous. All in all, we would return, as this was definitely the nicest of the three B&Bs in which I have stayed in Gettysburg.
