The hotel is nice. I come to Hanover for work fairly often. This is the first time I've stayed here as opposed to the Holiday Inn express that's across the parking lot. Both hotels are very similar. This hotel is probably a little bit nicer. However, the beds in the Holiday Inn in my opinion I'm more comfortable. I prefer a soft bed. The beds here are relatively hard. My body is so sore from sleeping in these beds. The next time I come back, I will be returning to the Holiday Inn express. This is not a bad hotel. My biggest complaint is the comfort level in the beds. If you prefer a harder bed, this hotel is probably right for you. read more

Had a pleasantly uneventful stay at this hotel. Easy check in/check out via Hilton iPhone app. I was even able to get a digital key, helpful when arriving late in the evening, and go straight to my room without checking in at the front desk. There was plenty of parking and the hotel itself was very clean and had hand sanitizing stations on each floor near the elevator. I found the bed to be very comfortable and had no problem getting a good nights rest here. The bathroom is also fine... The shower pressure was decent and the drainage was good (seems to me a lot of hotel showers don't drain well - this one worked). There was also a welcome letter under my door that I found upon arrival, recognizing me as a Hilton honors member and welcoming me to the hotel, which I found to be a very nice touch. read more

Stayed for 6 nights while visiting relatives in the area. Very accommodating and pleasant staff. Rooms are well equipped and very clean. Grand children spent an afternoon and hotel staff had no issue with them visiting the heated indoor pool. Great location in the heart of Hanover. The breakfast buffet is a cut above the standard hotel buffet with some nice added touches and the egg and meat dishes are varied a bit daily. read more

This place is remarkably clean and must have seen a recent update. Room with a king bed and fold-out sofa bed is rather small. No fan in the bathroom to vent steam, but no worries because the sliding barn door allows for steam to vent through the 1" gap. Not the place to be if you want any privacy while on the can or in the shower. You also cannot access the bathroom while the sofa bed is folded out. Digital room key worked well, wifi was strong, AC worked well, and the sheets/carpets were clean. Bed left much to be desired... as it was a bit hard and uncomfortable. I'd stay again. Rates are a bit outrageous for what you get and more than likely you can find something better locally. I suppose in spoiled by Hilton locations.. read more

A pretty clean and classy place. We stayed on the first floor. The rooms were re-done and were pristine and modern. Bathroom had the large sliding farm door. The room lacked closet space. They should have planned the room to have adequate closet space. They had the advanced key fob system. The front desk was helpful and engaging. The lobby and breakfast area was beautifully designed with plenty of room. I'd come here again. read more

My room was very clean. Bed and pillows were ok. The front desk clerk was awesome! Direct tv which is nice. Lots of outlets and USB ports. Microwave and fridge in room. One of the nicer Hamptons I have been to in a while. Walls were a little thinner than normal it seemed.... and a spend a lot of time in hotels. read more

I've stayed in many Hampton Inns over the years, and I have to say that this one ranks higher than most. Check-in was easy and quick. There's free coffee/tea in the lobby available 24/7. There are also some snacks available (granola bars/etc.), but there were times when they weren't there. Another plus (for the ladies out there), they have a variety of feminine hygiene products in the main restroom for free, which was the first time I ever saw that in any hotel. The employees, from the front desk staff to the cleaning ladies, were all sweet and a pleasure to interact with. When I ran out of soap for my laundry, the front desk employee gave me a free packet of detergent. If I needed something extra for breakfast, the ladies were more than willing to run to the back to get it. We were always greeted warmly and offered assistance. The room was cleaned thoroughly. We stayed in a suite, and my only complaint is that I wish they would update the rooms to reflect the modernness of the lobby. The sofa bed was old and uncomfortable, but the front desk agent offered to bring us a cot instead (even though we weren't supposed to have one). The room was spacious and had all that we needed for our stay there. The cleaning ladies were all sweet and attentive. The mints they leave behind are so yummy! Breakfast was delicious! They had new selections everyday, which isn't something you see at every hotel. They had a great selection of cold and hot foods and constantly made sure the space was clean and the items were stocked. This hotel is in a great location as well! They're right next to a Rite Aid, Texas Roadhouse, and a Perkins. There are a ton of stores in the area, so we had a great time. 10/10 would return! read more

This hotel is always busy/full...and the front desk person assured us of that while literally laughing at the question "are there any room location preferences available?" Hotel (lobby and all) smelled like "Old man B/O"...that is the best description I can give, but I'm sure you know what I mean. This was not from someone "passing through". Fortunately we only stayed one night and will avoid another stay. This hotel is pretty small as Hampton Inns go so the lobby seemed quite cramped with the throngs of people staying there that monopolized the space with their group pizza meals and the like...let alone at breakfast time. I give credit to the person handling the breakfast items for keeping up with the masses of people there...everything was stocked when I wanted to eat...of course I took my food back to my room to avoid the crush of people and the likely heartburn eating breakfast in the crowd would cause. This hotel has no outdoor patio/lounge area. The architect should be fired. Or maybe crime is so bad in Hanover they cant leave anything outside...including guests. This was a major disappointment on an evening that was very nice outdoors. Other annoying things include: No program guide on the TV...not a channel guide...a program guide...come on Hampton Inn's...what's the deal with that? Cable TV has been around a long time; surely you could work a deal with your provider for better services. -Could not set time on clock in room...a stupid proprietary clock they put in there. -Refrigerator was not cold on Max. -Phone cord was FILTHY! What the heck do people do with phone cords?...forget it...I don't even want to know...but this one needed some bleaching or replacing. -I took my socks off to walk to the shower and when I got in the shower I could see dirt come off the bottoms of my feet...and no, my feet were not that dirty to begin with. At least the hot tub and pool were working...of course those throngs of people pretty much had that space locked up...we got a short swim just before leaving in the morning when most people had checked out though. We were not impressed with this hotel or Hanover for that matter. Maybe a first impression but... I have stayed in worse hotels, but this one was not worth well over $100 a night they charge...but if you stay booked like they do you can almost charge what you want. I don't know what the draw in Hanover is, but I wont be trying to go back. Plenty of places to eat and stores nearby. No shortage of commerce to be had here. I gave this hotel only 2 stars because I could not give it a "yay it's OK" 3 stars. We were just not feeling this hotel or area...but we were trying! read more

my wife check then we're Hilton honors members we had a free room for the evening we get the room it looked appearance-wise okay?... so we laied on the bed we went ahead to go ahead and turn on the TV doesn't work we chose this particular hotel out of I guess a thousand of them to stay up the general manager was working and did nothing for us know I move you to another room make you happy nothing like that I would give this hotel and the staff as as the general manager and absolute zero the bathroom was very dirty there was pubic hair and hair from your head fall in the bathroom very uncomfortable never will ever ever stay in this hotel again read more

I was so happy to get back to a Hampton Inn after spending the previous night in a non-Hilton brand. Hampton Inns just always seem so much cleaner, newer, and quieter. This Hampton Inn was no exception, the room was very clean and I didn't hear any noise from other rooms or outside. It's removed far enough from the road that there shouldn't be any traffic noise. My room did come with a fridge and microwave, but I don't think all rooms do, so you'll have to ask. I was too tired to use the pool or exercise room but they looked like they were pretty nice. I thought the employees (at least the older ones) were extra friendly and concerned with making your stay wonderful. There was Perkins, Ruby Tuesday and drug store all right next to the hotel. It was probably a 25 minute drive to Gettysburg if you're planning on doing any sightseeing. read more

I stayed here one night for business and was very pleased. The hotel was clean and updated. Only thing that could have been better was the bed, it was a little too soft for me. I would definitely stay here again though, the staff was extremely welcoming and super friendly. Wonderful stay! Checked in late in the evening and Chelsea was extremely hospitable and friendly at the end of her shift! Snacks and tea in the lobby gave it an extra special welcome.
