When I read that this hotel has a free sauna with windows overlooking the city, I immediately hit…read morethe button to make reservation!! Yes, the sauna and hamman, along with gym and pool, are on the top floor of the hotel and open 24 hours. It's pretty nice to end your day with a relaxing sauna gazing out at a night time cityscape. Then head down to the bar for more fun. Or like me, grab some snack and select a drink from their wide selection (many local beers, as well as imported ones, for 2-5€) and retire to the comfy bed.
It's also very cool that you open the door, the room slowly comes to life welcoming your return. Electronic blinds, phone charging pad, cool gadgets to please your inner geeks. Room is rather spacious. The bar and first floor lobby is really happening too, day or night. Sleek and comfortable chairs to sit in, plenty of computers, there's even a corner with a large table for meetings.
Location is also excellent, with metro and bus station almost right in front of the hotel. The Saldanha metro stop is on both yellow and red lines, which is awesome as it means fewer transfers, and the red line services the airport (though it cost us only 6€ by Uber). Continente supermarket is in the street behind the hotel. Plenty of shops and restaurants in the area.
As other says, the toilet and shower are in round pods, which can feel claustrophobic or awkward to some. There is a curtain to section off that part of the room though, and if that's not enough privacy, you two probably should book separate rooms.
Definitely will consider staying here again.
