Hotel de Jobo has Parisian chic oozing from every pore, and it's located in Marais central. Those of you who call shopping a profession, look no further. I stop in to the Jobo for a cold drink on hot days, a hot drink on cold days, and a café on slow days. It is gorgeous, and everyone I send to the Hotel de Jobo is enthralled. With design reminiscent of the iconic Jacques Garcia, the Jobo is charming and lovely. I don't need hotels in Paris, but everyone who visits calls Jobo home. It is quintessentially Paris.

Amazing hospitality. Fantastic location right out of the Saint Paul metro where there's a Saturday flea market. Our jr suite on the 4th floor was spacious and quaint. Breakfast and bar was aesthetically pleasurable in so many ways... sumptuous breakfasts... great soaking tub. Monia was gracious and excellent at hosting. Especially appreciated my birthday balloons and chocolates!! Merci!!

I loved staying in this funky chic boutique hotel. My husband found this gem online, and we stayed here during our quick trip to Paris. The staff is kind, helpful, and accommodating. They made an error on our room the first night. We paid for a bigger room and got placed in a smaller room. To be honest, we didn't even catch the mistake, but they did. They immediately moved us to the bigger room the following day, and even deducted the price for the first night. I LOVE the history behind the hotel. I love the wild wall paper and decor, and I found it to be fabulous. The hotel is in a fabulous part of France, and it's not too far from great restaurants and shopping. I hope to return to within the next year! I love this place!

I will never stay anywhere else. We are anxious to get back as soon as possible! Laure, Cyril, and Catherine are beyond amazing. This hotel is as quintessential Parisien as one could possibly imagine. The rooms aren't huge - but then, this is Paris. Why are you in the room at all? Terrific location and everywhere we turned it was as though we were in our own fairy tale. the tapas bar across the street was delightful. Breakfast at the hotel was perfection. We picked this hotel at random and I can't imagine anyplace better. As noted...we are going back! As soon as possible. Hmmm.... Christmas shopping in Paris is looking very likely! Do yourself a favor...stay at JoBo!

THE BEST hotel I've ever stayed in. The service was impeccable. Location was great. The grounds and rooms are like a museum! Feels like you need to pay to walk in. The bar outlooks the street and the patio is an absolute landmark. My boyfriend and I cannot wait to be back! Thank you again, Hotel de Jobo!

Hotel de JoBo greatly exceeded all expectations! It's a small, lavish hotel fit for Napoleon himself! I've stayed at hundreds and hundreds of high end hotels, and none have given the impeccable attention to detail and service as Hotel de JoBo! When you enter, you walk through a small secret garden-looking patio, where I lounges multiple times a day! It barely made me want to leave the grounds! The location was unbeatable, and the cost was amazing! I will recommend JoBo to anyone and everyone visiting Paris and can't imagine staying anywhere else on a return trip!

Nice boutique hotel and Claire gets 100 stars fir being the best host. Hot water out one day and our timing effected our experience with fireman's ball until 5 am next door one night. Music played both days prior in day time affecting our turn around fir time zone. Toilet seat in rose room is not quite fitting toilet. Beautiful place- expensive- so frustrating without sleep for price. I think on any other time, it would be perfect. We will return one last night in a few weeks.

Although I had a rear side room, so no view of the street, I was very happy with it. The windows were able to open to the other building however you could have coffee by the window and the room was incredibly private. The blackout curtains were a game changer too! I slept peacefully each night and although the rooms aren't large, they use every inch of the space and was very well planned out. The breakfast was actually one of my favorite parts about being here. You are able to have breakfast in your room or downstairs in the breakfast room. The breakfast rooms decor was lovely and I looked forward to my breakfast every morning! Highly recommend, the staff is lovely and the hotel is clean and my favorite small hotel I have stayed at thus far in Paris. The location is awesome, there are many places to eat and shop (must go vintage shopping while in the area as well).

We had a double room with a small balcony that faced the street. It was perfect in every way. The employees were so kind and helpful and spoke beautiful English to our sad French (but we tried!). We did 4 days in Paris and 4 days in the Loire Valley, returning to Paris for our last night. After staying here during the first part of our trip, I cancelled our 2nd Paris hotel and rebooked this one for our last night. It was that perfect. We can't wait to return and without question we will stay here again. Many thanks to the staff at Hotel Caron de Beaumarchais for making our stay so lovely.

After a lot of researching and back and forth I selected Hotel Diana for my 4 night stay in Paris…read more I booked directly through their website which was super easy. I selected the queen size bed room - my close friend selected the full size bed room. We arrived in the early evening and check in was quick. Fortunately the lift /elevator was working as we had a lot of luggage it all fit as well as myself . The room was small and basic, which I expected being in downtown Paris. The bathroom was simple with a bathtub shower combo. The bed was comfortable and there was a working a/c however it didn't really get the room super cold but kept it comfortable for summer. Fortunately the heat wave was over by the time we arrived. Tne bathroom did get very warm if you were styling your hair or doing your makeup. I would suggest bringing a small portable fan with you if coming in tne summer . The location is the selling point of this hotel. Walking distance to so many cute restaurants and cafes. 5 minute walk to Notre Dame and the Sienne River. Felt perfectly safe walking around day or night even solo. Usually there were young men working the front desk. They were always polite however I wish they were able to provide a little more suggestions where to go or how to get around for a first time visitor. Great budget hotel in the 5th.

When reading this review, you must consider the typical budget Parisian hotel: small, cramped…read morebathroom, lack of AC, etc. This hotel more than adequately addresses them all. The room that we had was relatively spacious, with a double bed and some room to move around. The mattress was very comfortable and linens were perfectly clean (no gross bed covering that you typically find in hotels). There was also a relatively spacious bathroom with a nice bath tub (a good find in Paris). The room had quiet, perfectly-working AC and the Wifi was free. There was also a safe in the room. We were basically on a roll. The room also had double windows, which eliminated the noise from the adjacent street (this was amazing). The location is also quite nice. It's in the Latin quarter, walking distance from Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens, and the Sorbonne. Metro access is easy as well, in fact it is on a direct RER B line from CDG airport (station St.Michele) Plus, I haven't even gotten to the best part, which was the breakfast. It was 8 euros, and there was a plentiful selection of breads, jams, cheeses, yogurts, fruits, and cereals. All was super tasty. Plus the coffee and hot chocolate were delicious, brought out in small cute pitchers so you could have a nice servicing. We went all around France during our trip and I still remember the drinks there. Yummy. Overall, the price was right, the location was good, and the rooms were great. I would recommend it to anyone.

Heated mirror in the restroom and the HVAC was good. Comfortable bed. Service was friendly - excellent welcome by Floridita (I may have her name wrong) but she gave us a tour of the important areas of the hotel when we arrived and consistently greeted us every day when she saw us. Maid service and turn down services were also friendly as were the bellmen. Only negatives: our room faced the direction of the Louvre and on Friday night there were street performers singing until close to 1am. Wasn't a problem on the other nights. Also, Brasserie du Louvre, the fancy restaurant in the hotel, was a disappointment. Overall though we would stay there again next trip.

Our bedroom was spacious, the bed nice and perfectly made, the bathroom was also beautifully decorated, and comfortable with good products. We stayed a week, the room rates are steep, but for the lovely rooms, amenities and location it receives 3 full marks, the 4th star was the service team at L'officine that single-handedly made me reconsider and ultimately saved them from a lower " grade ". We had an unfortunate incident with the concierge service, whose staff member was not interested in giving us specific instructions. They were dismissive of my husband (who doesn't speak French) when he asked for directions to the bank for foreign exchange. I had to return to the hotel and speak to her directly in French to get results. We were, for the most part, impressed by the friendliness and hospitality of the staff at their bar, as I mentioned above they were the reason I found all their front of the house redeeming qualities I'm not sure if I will stay here or try a different hotel- jury is out. For certain, I'll go back to their lovely bar.
