I absolutely do not like writing these reviews. I hope that the management can reform how their staff treats outside patrons. I am very sad I had such a poor experience here. Although we didn't stay here, my mother and friend were not happy at all with how we were treated. First we inquired about how we can get a car service or bus to the town of Amalfi since the weather wasn't great and the water taxis were not available. The staff (I do mean all three associates at the front desk) were extremely vague and dismissive. When asked to at least point us in the right direction they finally explained they sold buss tickets there and we had to wait outside in the rain for it. At the end of our stay in a breathtaking bnb at the bottom of the cliff, we decided to come here for breakfast since our car service from Naples was picking us up here. Again, being treated like a huge inconvenience I took charge. I kindly told the front desk that the three of us were going to help ourselves to the dining area for breakfast. While we're are enjoying our morning, they will hold onto our luggage (each of us only had one carry bag, not big) until we are finished with our meal. Not a smile or guide to the dining room, we walked across and helped ourselves. Our waiter was the only kind person in that entire building. Though it is a beautiful place and has a stunning view of the ocean, I would not recommend coming here. I don't like being treated as if I don't belong somewhere and I do not appreciate the poor attitudes the staff had towards myself, my mother and our friend. For an upscale business, they should be ashamed of themselves for being so rude and disrespectful towards my party. read more
