From quote to completion Erik and his team were kind, informative, diligent, and expedient. I shopped around for quotes and the quote from SW poolscapes was right in line with the average quote. I had one guy tell me I should never use the cheapest quote cause they're doing something wrong (spoiler alert, that guy was the cheapest!). Erik discussed my options, suggested a gorgeous toe tile (I am absolutely obsessed with it!), and ensured I was happy with my selections before the work began. Long story short, we bought a walk-in tub and discovered a leak before our contractor installed it. The manufacturer told us to have it repaired and send them the bill for reimbursement. Based on various site reviews, we called Industrial Water Solutions. On the day of the scheduled repair, my wife contacted me and said that she had just heard from Wayne that he was en route to our home, and that I needed to meet him there with $125 cash or check. (What business these days doesn't take plastic? And who still writes checks?) Anyway, I left my own work to do just that. When I showed up at our home, our other contractors said "He just left! Not three minutes ago!" The contractors also said that he was quite curt toward them, and that he revealed to them that he had no idea the tub had not been installed. After a few minutes, they said he rudely said "I don't have time for this!" and then left. First, he apparently doesn't know how to receive communication, because we sent him photos and detailed information about the repair. He knew this was part of a remodel. Secondly, his communication skills regarding the payment were also lacking. Why didn't he spell this out to begin with? He was at our home for less that five minutes and made no effort to contact us to ask where we were. And finally, we tried to call and we texted him not five minutes after his departure. As of this writing, it's been about eight hours and ... crickets. It is rare that I leave a single star. In fact, the business has to reek of unprofessionalism for me to even consider it. Wayne definitely fits that bill.

I hired Richard Roberts to service our pool weekly when we moved out of state since the house…read morehadn't sold. I paid him for several months even though I was getting reports from a neighbor that the pool wasn't being cleaned well. Then one day he called to tell me the pool had a leak and was losing 2" per day which is a lot. I paid for a leak detector to start testing plumbing lines, have spa, pool & 3 waterfalls so a lot to test. After 3 days they found NO Leak but discovered that someone had turned a valve which caused one of the Rain Arcs to spray over the pool so it was draining the pool 30 min each day as it was set to run by time clock. The only person around the equipment was Richard so he likely turned the valve by accident. When I informed Richard of his mistake he said he Quit. This was in the middle of month and he wouldn't refund the remainder of the month. Within a day I hired someone else who discovered that the pool was 6 bags of salt low, had low chlorine and both skimmers were packed with leaves. So Richard was just collecting a check but not doing what he was paid to do. I have another neighbor that had heard negative reviews but unfortunately I didn't listen.
