They frequently offer steep discounts when they are prepping for next season's merchandise. Not everything is perfectly displayed. Display quality varies significantly from area to area.

The reason I rated the Dressing Rooms and Carpet a 2 is due to the amount of stains and lack of cleaning they have received and the smell in one of them. I do believe if the carpet is removed it the overall quality of the area would be improved. If it is replaced with faux wooden flooring it would give the appearance and quality a modern look and not look as old in the mens department.

They were super rude, making rude comments under their breath. When Daisy and Lirin had asked for help creating a "webb order," Kenley said "what do you want me to do about it" and then said "b*tvh" under her breath as she walked away. When the two young women asked for assistance from the manager she had a horrible attitude walking up. Lirin was unsure how to properly create our order and the manager was not happy about having to help. The whole environment felt very intense. (The manager, maybe Lauren, was very rude to Lirin. I was here for a wedding and forgot the top I was going to wear with my skirt, in a panic I went to Kohl's and not just one, but TWO associates there helped me gather items and some new cheap jewelry that matched the new outfit I was going to wear. The store was clean and laid out like every other kohl's but I really appreciated these ladies going the extra mile. For customer service alone, they rock! I pointed this out to the associate when I returned it the day after the orginal purchase. I checked and they did not have the product in stock. This morning I ordered it online with another color as well. I received an email very shortly later saying one of the shirts was ready for pickup. I picked it up and checked it when I got the the car. It was the same defective shirt I returned the week before. They just retagged it and sold it again and lucky me, I was the one to get it. I asked for the manager and a woman came up to me though I am not sure she was the actual manager since there was no name tag or label to show her name or position. The only thing she could do was return it and refund me. They could not order it and have it delivered to my home nor could she reinstate the discount I used when I purchased the shirt. I called corporate and filed a complaint. Evidentually, customer service is not Kohls priority.

Selection of fishing tackle was a little thin. There were 12 people in line behind me as well as three in front of me with one cashier. I offered to let six of the people behind me go in front of me because they just had one or two items. Finally, I got to the cashier. As the big, tall manager was walking away, the cashier asked him if he was gonna help, and he just scoffed and walked off and went to the back. Everyone of the employees in the store acted like they were all mad and had terrible attitude. Our family is in the people business in retail sales with 650 employees. We understand how it is with employees with an attitude. They don't work for us if they display this attitude. The customer is King. I will continue to go back to Academy and hopefully the experience will be better. As a follow up. The manager called me the next day. I was impressed that he did so.
